Bastian Balders is a techno producer, label owner, and DJ based in Leipzig, Germany. He has been involved in the electronic music scene since the 90s as a fan and listener. In 2014, he began creating his own music and he started working with the Berlin-based techno label Konsequent Records. In 2019, he founded his own record label “Balders Audio”, releasing music with artists such as Alex Bau and Alexander Kowalski. In January 2020, he made his debut at Tresor Berlin. This was followed by gigs in China, India, USA, and Cyprus. His style is marked by catchy, loopy techno with raw, hypnotic elements. Axel Karakasis is the most recognisable Greek name in the Techno scene. His career is marked by a number of classic themes and a series of appearances that have established him as an international DJ.   The rise to his present status did not happen overnight, but goes back to the 80s and the 90s, when Techno made its first appearance. Fascinated by this new wave, Axel's courtship with electronic music saw a very different light…   By the late 90s, he was already known through various DJ residencies in Athens, as well as through his regular events with his team “Bubbles” –to be remembered to this date by many! This was when the techno wiz-kid earned his place among the top Greek DJs and appeared in numerous events in the biggest clubs of the Greek capital! He soon became the most wanted Greek Techno DJ, playing regularly in the biggest venues in Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Crete and all over his native Greece.         Being a restless spirit led Axel to new avenues in music production. He always wanted to play unique music in his sets. That's what drove him to get into the studio and begin his own productions. In 2000, he had his first release on Pornographic Recordings and this was only the beginning, as a string of classic releases followed in the likes of Intec Records, MB Elektronics, Primate, etc. to establish himself in a genre he referred to as “Groovy Techno”! With his very own mark on discography, Axel's international career took off. Confirming his status as the most sought after Greek Techno DJ of his time, Axel headlines events in some of the best clubs in the world, such as the Rex Club (Paris), Womb (Tokyo), Turnmills (London), tours regularly countries like Belgium, Colombia, France, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Korea, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Holland and Brazil, to name a few, and has appeared in top festivals like Awakenings (Netherlands) Rabac Festival (Croatia), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), etc.: he keeps exciting crowds all over the world!   At present, Axel releases his music in top record labels, like Kombination Research, Planet Rhythm, Tronic and others, whereas his tracks have featured in well known compilations and mix CDs, such as Extreme Euphoria (Ministry of Sound), Cream Ibiza, I Love Techno, and many many more. Oliver Rosemann is a DJ and producer from Leipzig, who has been active since the 90's. During this time, he has made his experience with timeless techno exactly in the time of its creation, which can be seen later in his productions and DJ Sets. In the Leipzig scene he played numerous live sets in the early 2000s, including at the 1040, one of the legendary clubs of the time. Increasingly, he began to show himself in public not only as a pure live act but also as a track producer. He oriented himself out of the local scene and tried to place his music directly internationally. With the collaboration with MasCon called "dualit" he had first big releases on labels like Earwiggle, CLR or Fith Wall Records and also international gigs e.g. in Antwerp. But after that his solo project should be in the foreground again. Oliver got his own EP on Sunil Sharpe's label Earwiggle. The "Pointing from the Moon EP" was released, which was the starting signal for numerous following releases. To date, there are close to 180 tracks and remixes, including 3 LPs, released on labels such as MindTrip, MORD Records, Warm Up Recordings, Pole Group, Stockholm LTD and many more. Another promising collaboration was to follow. Pfirter and Oliver started producing together in 2019 and presented their first joint 4 tracker “Alpha EP” in 2020 on MindTrip Music and it was a huge success. To date, the collaboration of the two includes several releases and B2B DJ Sets and there will be a few more. Oliver is also present on stage. Whether as a live act or as a DJ, he knows how to create a dark, driving, ecstatic atmosphere on dance floors. He has already proven this in clubs like Tresor Berlin, Distillery, Institut für Zukunft, About Blanc and also in other countries in Europe. Numerous podcasts recorded by him or live cuts from parties, which were released over the years by renowned crews such as "Reclaim Your City" or "Staub", show this. To round off a fantastic week of techno premieres, we present German techno boss, Denise Rabe's remix of Alexander Kowalski under his DISX3 alias. This comes as part of an outstanding EP on one of our favourite label's, Out Of Place. Denise Rabe and Alexander Kowalski, was always going to be a perfect pairing. Denise has been putting out top-tier 12 inches since 2015, having released on labels such as Arts, Blacklabel Distillery & her own imprint ‘Rabe'. Each record tells a story that's somewhat undecipherable, atmospheric and trippy. Record's that aren't made to be understood but made to feel and her flip of techno stalwart Alexander Kowalski, does just that. Denise Rabe's remix flip's Kowalski's acid fuelled original, into more subtle terrority with a variety of deep, atmospheric, trippy but yet driving sounds with a fantastic breakey feel to it. Crisped atmospheres, creep back and forward through the mix over a throbbing 808 kick. This whole EP is top-tier techno. Remixes from The Lady Machine, Denise Rabe and originals from Alexander Kowalski under his DISX3 alias means guaranteed fire power. He started to get involved in the medium at the end of the last century, mainly in techno but also with experimental sessions, ambient and IDM. Damian Vargas is an electronic musician, DJ, producer, and live act performer with more than 10 years in the business. It has also had releases and remixes. for various labels such as Vector Functions, ANAØH, B55, Default Series, Iteration Method among others. He has also participated with different national and international exponents, including Oscar Mulero, Alexander Kowalski, Dig-it, Arent Volten, Dj UNKONW, Fixeer, Fixon, Ricardo Garduno. Damian Vargas is presented as an artistic concept with DJ sessions, live acts and audiovisual projects with totally original material, he also collaborates with various Mexican labels to constantly create content. Salmassi’s music career began in 1997 when she founded her first label Konsequent, on which she released music by artists such as The Advent, Claude Young, Jay Denham, Christian Morgenstern, Fanon Flowers, Alexander Kowalski, Oliver Rosemann, Zadig and many others. In 1998 she co-founded the Cologne-based Techno and Electro distribution company Formic, which served as one of the most radical distributors of Detroit Techno and abstract electronica and was the sole European distributor for many underground labels like Underground Resistance, Direct Beat, KMS or Seventh City. Additionally, in 1999 she formed the media label Art Of Perception, releasing music of artists like Jimmy Tenor, Alter Ego, Michael Mayer and Andrew Weatherall to name a few. 2006 brought the beginning of Television Rocks, a platform for her solo projects but also numerous releases by her friends Fukkk Offf, The Sneekers, Zombie Nation, The Sexinvaders and Tenderlions, among others. A few years later ( 2010 ) Maral's single Let’s Rock the Party, a collaboration with Hamburg-based artists Fukkk Offf, became a massive club hit and jumped to number 1 on the Beatport charts. In 2011 she teamed up with "Die Boys" of the famous German Hip-Hop group “Deichkind“ under the name “Die Boys & Ein Girl“, touring with Four Music on their unique blend of Old School and New School Hip- Hop DJ sets. Later that year, she also formed the DJ team “Return of the Amazons” with Melissa Logan of “Chicks on Speed”. Over the last decade, Salmassi has worked behind the scenes. Now, after a long hiatus, Salmassi has both relaunched the Konsequent techno label and begun to produce music again.
