CJ hails from my home state of North Carolina.  Raleigh, N.C. to be exact! I had the pleasure of meeting him while performing at the Classic Lounge in Weilerbach, Germany. His style is very much like my own, no boundaries while expressing the love of life through words and song. I'm glad to introduce you all to CJ because I believe in his talent and his music. 英語って喋れますか？ 僕は学生の頃から英語が嫌いでダメなんですが、切実な問題として、英語を身につけたいです。 Music: sound scientist / bill 4 my love darling / Dread Daze 番組の中でDread Dazeのアーティスト名を間違えていますが、聴き流してやって下さい。ごめんなさい。 最近、英文のメールが急増してるんですよ。海外からのメールが。ポッドキャストで流して欲しいという売り込みのメールが多いんだけどね。なぜか「ポッドキャストって何？」を知らないってような人からも。 そのほとんどがDJ COAの紹介ってことなんですけどね。DJ COAからも後から、多くの人間に紹介したけどコンタクトあったかい？　ってメールが。しかも世界で一番のポッドキャストみたいな触れ込みで音楽仲間なんかに紹介している模様。 もちろん、嬉しいことですし、悪い気はしないんですが、なにぶん英語が弱いんで読むのにも時間が掛かれば返事をするのにも時間が掛かる。日に日にメールを眺める時間が増える。メールとスペースアルクを行ったり来たりです。 あと、MacOSX限定ですがE2JTranserが重宝しております。 だれか、手っ取り早い英語の学習法を教えて下さい。出来るだけ手間をかけたくはないんですが・・・。

ポッドキャストと音楽プロモーションについて。 あと、先日のthin-pさんとの対談の模様を・・・。 Where Are My Wings? / Burnt Sienna Trance　※ダウンロードできなくなってしまいました On The Rise Semokee / DJ COA (iTMS) また冒頭からバントラことBurnt Sienna Tranceの曲を流しています。 この曲の他、数曲を別サイトBurntSienna Trance Songsで誰でもダウンロードできる形にしています。また、歌詞も一緒に公開していますので気に入った方はぜひどうぞ。（※サイトはなくなってしまっています） もちろん、アーティストには了解を得てますんでご安心を。 このように丸々１曲をダウンロードできるようにし始めましたが、たとえば音楽ビジネスをやられている方からはどう見えるんでしょうか？ そんなことをしたら曲が売れなくなる。アマチュアだから出来るんだ、なんて思われるんでしょうか。 ただ、バントラのメンバーから連絡があり、CD販売の問い合わせがあったとのこと。結果として、活動を休止して１年以上経つのにCDが売れたことになります。凄くないですか？ 今までもサイトで試聴は出来る形をとっていましたが、曲をフルサイズでダウンロードできるようにしたら結果としてCD販売に繋がったことになります。少なからず僕の予想していたことが証明できて嬉しい。 と思ったら、海外からメールが。DJ COAからなんと日本からCDが２枚売れたという喜びのメール。僕のポッドキャストのお陰だとDJ COAからの感謝のコメントでしたが、ファンラジ・ブロッキャ！のテリ〜さんもよく流しているから、僕の放送のお陰とは限らないが、と思いつつも日本から売れたことは事実なんで、僕も嬉しかったですねぇ。 バントラの件と重なって、まだまだポッドキャストは導入期で、これからと思っていたんですが、ちょっと可能性を垣間みた気がしました。 そういえば、DJ COAのアルバムは１枚だけですがiTMSで買えるようです。US版にあったのは知ってたんですが、なんと日本版にも載るようになったみたいです。おめでとう。 最後に、先日のthin-pさんの対談の模様を少し紹介。続きはthin-pさんの放送でどうぞ。 世間はお盆休みが、僕は仕事が一段落した８月１７日、前々から企んでいたポッドキャスター対談をやっちゃいました ｖ お相手は「...My cup of tea...」のポトフさん（Pot-au-feu）。A'sf -Pod- Radio: 2 iPods - Special Edition -
