Père Nathanaël Garric, formateur pour les séminaristes de la communauté de l'Emmanuel à Paris et rédige une thèse de théologie sur le philosophe Maurice Blondel, à l'origine de l'initiative "Comprendre le Pape François". Le synode a montré que le pape formait le rêve d'une Église « aux portes ouvertes », moins engoncée dans des pratiques cléricales qui la rendent étrange, arrogante, en tout cas inaudible dans le monde d'aujourd'hui dont le saint père est persuadé que, comme à toutes les époques, il est en attente d'une parole sur Dieu. Or, parler de Dieu voire parler pour Dieu, c'est justement à cela que cette institution est dédiée. Reste que sous nos latitudes, l'indifférence gagne à l'égard de ses messages. Et celle-ci se divise sur le rapport au monde:: faut-il être plus ouvert à celui-ci, plus compréhensif ou plus affirmatif, plus directif ? L'un et l'autre ne s'opposent pas forcément, ne devraient pas s'opposer mais, vu de l'extérieur, c'est l'impression qu'on en a. Aussi faut-il permettre à l'opinion de comprendre le pape François. C'est le nom d'un parcours pensé par le père Garric dont l'un des rendez-vous a lieu ce soir à 20h30 sur la WebTV EmmanuelPlay.

Chuck Garric is no stranger to large crowds and big tours. His bass duties for such rock and metal legends as Dio, LA Guns, and Alice Cooper have given him quite a resume. But one thing that stays the same after playing in front of millions of people over the years; Chuck Garric is still the same music fan he was as a kid.   When not on tour, Garric resides in Nashville, TN as part of the long line of rockers that have made their way to the Southeastern hotbed of music.
