Deux-cent-trente-neuvième numéro de Chemins d'histoire, douzième numéro de la septième saison, émission animée par Luc Daireaux Émission diffusée le samedi 27 décembre 2025 Thème : La revue Entre-temps Invités : Aurélien Peter, doctorant en histoire moderne auprès de l'université Paris I-Panthéon-Sorbonne, ATER au Collège de France, directeur de la rédaction de la revue Entre-temps, qui assure, avec Patrick Boucheron, la direction d'Entre-temps : l'histoire publique en revue, Collège de France, 2025, et Elisabeth Schmit, directrice de la rédaction d'Entre-temps entre 2019 et 2021, maîtresse de conférences à l'université Paris I-Panthéon-Sorbonne, et contributrice du volume suscité.

Avec l'arrivée d'Amita Boolauky à la tête de la Private Secondary Education Authority (PSEA), l'Union of Private Secondary Education Employees (UPSEE) espérait un renforcement du professionnalisme et une meilleure coordination avec les directives du ministère de l'Éducation. Mais pour le syndicat, les attentes ne sont pas au rendez-vous. Selon Arvind Bhojun, président de l'UPSEE, « nous espérions une continuité entre les annonces du ministre de l'Éducation et la mise en œuvre par la PSEA, mais ce n'est pas le cas ». Il cite en exemple les circulaires publiées récemment par la PSEA concernant la reprise des cours. Initialement, une journée préparatoire avait été prévue le 9 janvier 2026 pour tout le personnel avant la rentrée du 12 janvier 2026. Quelques jours plus tard, une nouvelle circulaire modifie la date de reprise pour le personnel non enseignant, désormais fixé au 5 janvier. « Cette confusion reflète un manque de professionnalisme et laisse le personnel non enseignant dans le flou », déplore Arvind Bhojun. Par ailleurs, le président de l'UPSEE revient sur un problème ancien, datant de 2017, concernant les « Heads of Departments » (HoD) dans les collèges privés. Aujourd'hui, plusieurs départements n'ont toujours pas de responsable désigné, et les enseignants sont contraints d'assumer ces responsabilités sans rémunération supplémentaire, contrairement à la pratique dans les collèges d'État, souligne Arvind Bhojun.
