Tasting Notes: Likely produced from the same wheated mashbill as Weller and Pappy, Harlen Wheatley's own "Wheatley" vodka is unique in the vodka world, a blend of micro-distilled vodka and column distilled vodka, then married and distilled 3 more times in a dedicated vodka still, for a total of 10 unique distillations. The nose is pillowy soft vanilla, while the palate has the perfect amount of grainy weight with the very smooth and clean finish you'd expect from a super premium vodka. If you're a Tito's fan (and we are!) you may want to also give Wheatley's a shot, it's more of an on the rocks sipper.

This year, he's releasing one of the distillery's older experiments -- bourbon aged in two different types of oak casks for 15 years. One batch was aged in coarse-grained oak from fast-growth forests, and the other was aged in fine-grain oak from slow-growth forests. He'll tell us what he found in this week's episode.
