Dans le journal « Paris-plage, le courrier des bains de mer », il écrit : Y a-t-il, dans la nature, quelque chose qui possède cette diversité de coloration sans cesse changeante ? Vanessa, la Saint-Nicolas, c'est le week-end prochain. On part flâner dans les marchés de Noël, de Moselle à Metz, mais aussi dans ses villages.Ce sont, selon moi, des marchés de Noël qui ont gardé le charme et l'authenticité. Ce sont des marchés à taille humaine où les produits made in China ne trouvent pas leur place. Tout est artisanal, et de temps en temps, ce sont même les habitants eux-mêmes qui organisent les festivités. Comme à Sierck-les-Bains, une ancienne cité médiévale à la frontière luxembourgeoise, dans cette Moselle viticole (Olivier, pour info, 40 % des viticulteurs sont des viticultrices). La cité est blottie au pied de la Moselle et du château des Ducs de Lorraine. Elle est envahie par les contes et légendes locales, comme celle du Graouly, le dragon lorrain, emblème de la Lorraine.Autre ville ou village coup de cœur ?Forbach, pour son Noël Gourmand ! C'est la capitale des petits biscuits que l'on prépare pour la Saint-Nicolas. Pas de Manelle comme en Alsace, mais des Spritz, une tradition germanique. Le marché de Noël est thématisé autour des biscuits : ateliers de fabrication, concours du meilleur biscuit avec un jury présidé par un Mof. Le grand Michel Roth sera lui aussi présent. Le concours a lieu demain ! Ce que j'apprécie à Forbach, c'est que, comme c'est une ancienne terre de charbon, de nombreux travailleurs italiens, portugais et polonais sont venus, apportant avec eux leurs traditions culinaires.
