Pred dvema letoma je Amna Naji v Gazi še študirala veterino. Redno je obiskovala predavanja, veliko telovadila, jahala, se družila s prijatelji. Imela je tudi občutek, da se življenje odvija v pravo smer. Potem je nastopil tisti 7. oktober. Amna Naji je imela življenje, ki ga opisuje kot skoraj popolnega. Študirala je veterino na univerzi Al-Azhar v Gazi, obdana je bila s prijatelji, družino, športom in občutkom, da je možno tako rekoč vse. A vse se je spremenilo 7. oktobra 2023. Gaza, regija, tudi ves svet, nenazadnje, so se prebudili v kaos raket, eksplozij in negotovosti. Družina se je čez čas umaknila na jug Gaze, kjer se je zdelo bolj varno. A občutek varnosti je bil varljiv. Tistega dne so se s starši pripravljali na novo selitev. Amna je na dvorišču je obešala perilo, ko je začutila nenavaden nemir. Štiri sekunde pozneje je bila žrtev napada, ki ji je spremenil življenje. »Odprla sem oči, a premakniti se nisem mogla … Pogledala sem svojo roko in videla, da sem ob prst. Pogledala sem nogo in zagledala kri, meso in kost. Ostala sem še brez noge. Pogledam drugo nogo in vidim, da tam manjka še en prst. V tistem trenutku sem se zasmejala: In tudi ob ta prst sem?« Oče jo je odnesel v improvizirano bolnišnico, ki je bila zgolj skupek velikih šotorov. Bila je pri zavesti, a se ni mogla premakniti niti, ko so zarezali v njeno nogo. A območje so neprestano preletavali droni, zato so ji lahko dali le injekcijo. Do naslednjega dne je niso mogli operirati. Tudi takrat je bila pri zavesti. In tudi takrat tega niso opazili. »S težavo sem jim naposled to nakazala z obrvmi. Ko so le opazili, da sem budna, so mi dali še eno injekcijo, da sem zaspala.«Na nadaljne zdravljenje jo je sestra, zdravnica, odpeljala v Egipt, kjer pa se je nato odprla možnost zdravljenja amputirane noge v Sloveniji. Președintele ucrainean Volodimir Zelenski a început un turneu diplomatic în Europa. Duminică, la Atena, el a semnat un important acord privind furnizarea de gaze. Turneul continuă la Paris și Madrid. Este prima acțiune diplomatică de amploare a președintelui ucrainean după izbucnirea marelui scandal de corupție de la Kiev. Iar Ucraina are nevoie urgentă să-și repare credibilitatea. Ucraina va importa gaze naturale lichefiate din SUA, prin Grecia, pentru a-și acoperi nevoile din această iarnă, transmite Reuters. Acordul a fost parafat în timpul vizitei de duminică la Atena a președintelui Volodimir Zelenski. Acesta a fost primit de premierul grec Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Ucraina va importa gazele printr-o conductă care traversează Peninsula Balcanică. După cum specifică ziarul belgian Le Soir, Ucraina a fost lovită în ultimele săptămâni de  „cea mai mare campanie de bombardamente împotriva infrastructurii sale de gaze”. Vizita de la Atena a fost primul popas într-un turneu european întreprins de Zelenski, într-un moment dificil, atât pe câmpul de luptă cât și în plan politic. Liderul ucrainean se va afla astăzi la Paris. Președinții Macron și Zelenski vor discuta chestiuni legate de relațiile bilaterale, energie, economie și apărare, potrivit unui comunicat al președinției franceze. Consolidarea apărării aeriene Apoi, Zelenski va călători, marți, în Spania. Potrivit Politico, Zelenski nu a menționat un acord specific cu Madridul, dar a spus într-o postare separată pe X că va purta discuții privind consolidarea apărării aeriene. Vizita vine într-un moment în care Ucraina se străduiește să limiteze pagubele provocate de scandalul de corupție de mare amploare vizând plăți ascunse percepute clienților unor mari companii de stat. În ultimele zile, Kievul a dezvăluit o serie de măsuri pentru a-și liniști aliații. Potrivit unui oficial ucrainean de rang înalt, citat de Politico, guvernul de la Kiev dorește să se implice de urgență în curățarea schemelor corupte, deoarece acestea subminează țara în fața atacului continuu al președintelui rus Vladimir Putin. Aceste măsuri au inclus demiterea aproape imediată a miniștrilor justiției, respectiv energiei. În plus, guvernul a anunțat un nou consiliu de supraveghere al operatorului de energie nucleară Energoatom – companie de stat aflată în centrul scandalului. A fost anunțat un audit financiar major al contractelor de achiziții publice de stat. De asemenea, Guvernul a oprit concursul pentru postul de șef al sistemului de transport al gazelor din Ucraina, deoarece unul dintre finaliști a fost prezentat pe interceptările procurorilor ca potențial suspect. Potrivit unui analist ucrainean citat de Politico, astfel de reforme ar putea transforma fiasco-ul reputațional într-o oportunitate de a demonstra că Ucraina dorește într-adevăr să elimine definitiv corupția. Iar Ucraina are nevoie de o asemenea mișcare, cu atât mai mult cu cât europenii se află în căutare de soluții politice și tehnice în vederea acordării unui împrumut de 140 de miliarde de euro către Ucraina. Cei 27 nu reușesc să se pună de acord asupra folosirii drept garanții a activelor rusești înghețate sau a altor modalități de asigurare a banilor. Narazil ovšem na tvrdou slovenskou byrokracii, se kterou už víc než rok bojuje. Mezitím se psychický i zdravotní stav jeho dětí výrazně zhoršil. Generální tajemník OSN Antonio Guterres důrazně odsoudil smrt civilistů, včetně mnoha dětí, způsobenou izraelskými leteckými útoky v Gaze. Reagoval tak na to, že izraelská armáda podle agentury AFP, která se odkazuje na pět místních nemocnic, tento týden v Pásmu Gazy zabila přes sto Palestinců a Palestinek, přičemž děti tvořily víc než třetinu. Dvě stovky lidí pak byly zraněny. V oblasti přitom od 10. října platí příměří. „Izraelská armáda odůvodňuje z porušování příměří Hamás. Její jednotky se podle ní v oblasti Rafáhu dostaly pod palbu, ale Hamás tvrdí, že s tím nemá nic společného," vysvětluje ve Výtahu Respektu Magdaléna Fajtová. „Izraelský premiér Benjamin Netanjahu navíc tvrdí, že Hamás důsledně nevrací ostatky mrtvých rukojmích, kteří zůstávají v Pásmu Gazy." I přesto americký prezident Donald Trump, jehož administrativa společně s Katarem a Egyptem pomohla příměří dojednat, mluví o tom, že jeho mír přetrvává. Jak je to s porušováním dohody? Americký plán na ukončení války v Gaze je v pohybu. V pondělí ráno se na svobodu dostali všichni izraelští rukojmí, Izraelci začali stahovat své jednotky na nové pozice, obyvatelé města Gaza se vracejí domů, a do oblasti přijel Donald Trump, díky kterému se tyto věci odehrály. Nálada v Izraeli byla mimořádně slavnostní, hlavním tématem byl návrat rukojmí a jejich shledání s rodinami.

Od zahájení rozsáhlé izraelské ofenzivy v Pásmu Gazy uplynuly dva roky. Akce byla reakcí na teroristické útoky hnutí Hamás ze 7. října 2023, při nichž zemřelo přes 1 200 lidí a dalších 251 bylo odvlečeno do zajetí. Život v této části palestinského území nebyl nikdy těžší, píše server americké stanice CNN. Podle ministerstva zdravotnictví v Gaze stály izraelské útoky život nejméně 67 tisíc lidí a téměř 170 tisíc dalších utrpělo zranění.
