Generální tajemník OSN Antonio Guterres důrazně odsoudil smrt civilistů, včetně mnoha dětí, způsobenou izraelskými leteckými útoky v Gaze. Reagoval tak na to, že izraelská armáda podle agentury AFP, která se odkazuje na pět místních nemocnic, tento týden v Pásmu Gazy zabila přes sto Palestinců a Palestinek, přičemž děti tvořily víc než třetinu. Dvě stovky lidí pak byly zraněny. V oblasti přitom od 10. října platí příměří. „Izraelská armáda odůvodňuje z porušování příměří Hamás. Její jednotky se podle ní v oblasti Rafáhu dostaly pod palbu, ale Hamás tvrdí, že s tím nemá nic společného," vysvětluje ve Výtahu Respektu Magdaléna Fajtová. „Izraelský premiér Benjamin Netanjahu navíc tvrdí, že Hamás důsledně nevrací ostatky mrtvých rukojmích, kteří zůstávají v Pásmu Gazy." Pro mírový plán Donalda Trumpa, ale i pro Gazu a její obyvatele nastala velmi nebezpečná fáze. Poválečné mocenské vakuum se snaží vyplnit Hamás, kterému se podařilo uchovat velkou část svých kapacit. Vzniká tím otázka, kdo by měl, nebo kdo dokáže Gaze vládnout, až odejdou Izraelci z celého pásma.

Rolla Sabri Al-Dura je bývalá novinářka. Od roku 1999 pracovala v palestinské televizi jako produkční. Tam poznala i svého manžela, kameramana. Narodilo se jim jediné dítě, syn. Dnes už je naživu jen ona. Jako jediná z rodiny s těžkými zraněními vyvázla z dvou izraelských bombardování. Její výpověď svědčí o pravděpodobném užití termobarické munice a zakázaného bílého fosforu, hlavně ale o nekonečné bolesti a utrpení. Po akutním převozu do egyptských nemocnic, dnes Rolla žije v panelákové holostavbě jedné z chudších čtvrtí egyptského hlavního města Káhiry. Sinočnji podpis deklaracije o miru v Gazi je minil v znamenju velikih besed. Z izmenjavo izraelskih talcev in palestinskih zapornikov je bila obenem izpolnjena peta od skupno 20-ih točk mirovnega načrta, ki pa ne predvideva, kakšna bo politična prihodnost uničene enkalve. Komentarjem o morebitni rešitvi dveh držav se izogiba tudi ameriški predsednik Trump, ki dodaja, da je za zdaj pomembna predvsem obnova Gaze. Druge teme: - Varnostni izzivi tudi pred zvezo Nato. V Ljubljani poudarjen pomen višanja obrambnih izdatkov in nadaljnje pomoči Ukrajini. - Predlog zakona glede obvezne božičnice naj bi bil pripravljen. Bo prepričal socialne partnerje? - Neučinkovitost slovenskih nogometašev v napadu premalo za zmago nad Švico v Stožicah.

Války otevírají prostor pro rozkvět černého trhu, korupce a organizovaného zločinu. Pásmo Gazy není výjimkou. Z rozhovorů s lidmi, kteří v Gaze žijí nebo ještě nedávno žili, jasně vyplývá, co všechno dnes organizovaný zločin ovládá: přístup k hotovosti, povolení opustit Gazu i přístup k základním potřebám, jako je jídlo a pitná voda. Americký plán na ukončení války v Gaze je v pohybu. V pondělí ráno se na svobodu dostali všichni izraelští rukojmí, Izraelci začali stahovat své jednotky na nové pozice, obyvatelé města Gaza se vracejí domů, a do oblasti přijel Donald Trump, díky kterému se tyto věci odehrály. Nálada v Izraeli byla mimořádně slavnostní, hlavním tématem byl návrat rukojmí a jejich shledání s rodinami.

Bude pondělí 13. října 2025 velký den pro Izrael? Hamásem unesená rukojmí by se měla vrátit domů, izraelská armáda pokračovat ve stahování z Pásma Gazy. Zapíše se Trumpův plán pro Gazu do historie jako začátek konce konfliktu? „Ta dohoda více či méně – stejně jako více či méně vše na Blízkém východě – dříve, nebo později usne,“ říká v pořadu Osobnost Plus Libor Kutěj, ředitel Ústavu zpravodajských studií Univerzity obrany a bývalý zpravodajec na Blízkém východě.

Od zahájení rozsáhlé izraelské ofenzivy v Pásmu Gazy uplynuly dva roky. Akce byla reakcí na teroristické útoky hnutí Hamás ze 7. října 2023, při nichž zemřelo přes 1 200 lidí a dalších 251 bylo odvlečeno do zajetí. Život v této části palestinského území nebyl nikdy těžší, píše server americké stanice CNN. Podle ministerstva zdravotnictví v Gaze stály izraelské útoky život nejméně 67 tisíc lidí a téměř 170 tisíc dalších utrpělo zranění.

Za úplatky odsúdili Štefana Žigu, Prokurátor zrušil trestné stíhanie bývalých operatívcov NAKA Branislava Dunčka a Róberta Magulu v ďalšej kauze, vláda ukázala rozpočet ktorý ukazuje, že šetriť sa na ministerstvách bude len málo, a Slovensku napriek konsolidácii stále rastie dlh. Pozornost na Blízkém východě se v posledních dnech upínala ke Gaze. K důležitým posunům docházelo i jinde, například v Sýrii. Tam se konaly parlamentní volby a urovnával se ozbrojený spor mezi vládními a kurdskými silami. Nová Sýrie ještě pořád balancuje na okraji.

Jaké vyhlídky má příměří v Gaze uzavřené na základě plánu Donalda Trumpa? Jak vážné riziko představuje v Česku tzv. predátorská droga? A co zjistil rozsáhlý průzkum Světové zdravotnické organizace o výskytu depresí mezi lékaři a zdravotními sestrami?

Dogovor, ki sta ga včeraj v egiptovskem Šarm el-Šejku ob posredovanju ZDA sklenili pogajalski skupini Izraela in gibanja Hamas, je ponoči ratificiral tudi kabinet Benjamina Netanjahuja. S tem je izraelska vlada potrdila prvo fazo mirovnega načrta za Gazo, ki ga je pripravil ameriški predsednik Donald Trump in v kateri bo prekinitev ognja uresničena v 24-tih urah, v naslednjih 72-tih urah pa bo Hamas izpustil vse talce. Hkrati bo v Gazo začela prihajati mednarodna pomoč. Trump je v izjavi v Beli hiši zatrdil, da nihče od prebivalcev Gaze ne bo prisiljen zapustiti enklave. V oddaji tudi o tem: - Od danes do ponedeljka bo na ljubljanskem gospodarskem razstavišču zasedanje Parlamentarne skupščine zveze Nato - Ekonomsko-socialni svet med drugim o izhodiščih za božičnico in predlaganih proračunskih dokumentih za prihodnji dve leti - Ob svetovnem dnevu duševnega zdravja stroka poudarja pomembnost dostopa do pomoči in informacij

Poleg Nobelovih nagrad so teden zaznamovala mirovna prizadevanja in pokazala, da si ljudje povsod, od Venezuele do Gaze, želijo podobnih stvari. Kljub podpisu premirja na Bližnjem vzhodu pa je do trajnega miru še dolga pot in le malokdo verjame, da bo ta proces minil brez zapletov. O miru, nemiru in njunih različnih pojavnih oblikah v tokratni Petkovi centrifugi razmišlja Matej Hrastar.

I did an interview with Resolution Games CEO Tommy Palm soon after the Apple Vision Pro launch last year where we talk the in the Game Room game commissioned by Apple as well as the exploration of the relatively new gaze and pinch mechanic that's enabled with the eye-tracking of the Apple Vision Pro. After seeing the Neural Band at Meta Connect, then I'm reminded about how ultimately the gaze and pinch mechanic is a lot more efficient and more optimized for quickly selecting items in a fully volumetric context. Meta's Neural Band announced at Meta Connect in the context of the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses is only within a 2D context in a head-lock HUD display screen, and so operating the Neural Band feels a lot like what it feels like to navigate TV menus with a TV controller, but rather than a controller, then your thumb and side of your index finger are being transformed into a two-axis D-pad. Again, the ultimate form factor is likely going to come back to gaze and pinch, but that will require shipping with eye tracking. And so this unpublished conversation with Tommy Palm takes on a new context as we reflect upon the latest HCI innovations that were announced at Meta Connect and where the ultimate form factor may be headed.
