This Christmas, slow down and recognize God's presence in your life—His promises from the past, His peace in the present, and His power for the future. When God prompts you to do something, don't hesitate. This week, you'll have moments that seem ordinary—at work, in a store, with a neighbor—but they're actually divine appointments. The shepherds didn't wait; they boldly shared the good news of Jesus' birth. One moment of boldness can change someone's life! Our regular service is at 10am on Sundays. We are located at 304 E. As a new year begins, New Year of Peace invites you to slow down, take a breath, and discover a deeper kind of peace—one that isn't shaken by circumstances. This message explores what it means to step into the year ahead, anchored in Jesus, surrounded by a community walking the journey of faith together. Through reflections on God's faithfulness and the hope found in trusting Him, the sermon points toward a fresh start marked by unity, growth, and a peace that carries you forward no matter what lies ahead.
This Christmas, let's pause to reflect on the mystery and wonder of the incarnation. God is not far off; He is Emmanuel—God with us. Do you know Him? The King of Kings did not enter the world in a grand palace or with royal fanfare but was instead laid in a feeding trough, surrounded by animals and overlooked by the world. God Himself stepped into human history, took on flesh, and bridged the gap between heaven and earth, bringing His presence into the ordinary and inviting us into a relationship with Him. Jesus' humble arrival in Bethlehem reminds us that God's greatest work often happens in the most unexpected places, and His presence transforms even the simplest moments into something sacred. Celebrate this Christmas season with the holiest of moments by inviting Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.
We hope that after today's episode, you will have multiple new ideas to incorporate with your children this holiday season that brings Him into every aspect of the holidays and faith in each festivity. More than a season for shopping and wrapping, Christmas is a season for worship. What do you worship during the holiday season? Too many of us worship family, gifts, or meals but forget that the real reason to worship is the Christ child, born to change all of history. God invited two very different groups of people to worship at the manger reminding us that God's love is available to all, regardless of their status or background. In a field outside Bethlehem, God revealed the birth of his Son to a group of simple, lowly shepherds, the most unlikely recipients of the greatest news in history. But He also sent a star to lead the rich and powerful Kings from the far east to see the manger miracle as well. For all of them, worship was the only appropriate response to what they saw. Whether we feel unworthy of Jesus or offer expensive gifts and offerings, we, too, are invited to make worship a central part of Advent. Adoring Jesus and holding Him high over any of the challenges of the season will unlock the wonder we are looking for. The true heart of Christmas lies in taking time to worship Jesus, acknowledging Him not just as a baby in a manger, but as the Savior of the world. Just as the shepherds and wise men bowed in humble reverence, let your holy moments be marked by adoration and thanksgiving. Moments of worship are holy moments where heaven meets earth.
Holy Moments Week 4: The Power of a Memory
Holy Moments Week 4: Christmas Sunday
Life isn't measured by time—it's measured in moments. This Christmas, we're focusing on holy moments—those times when obedience and surrender open the door for God to move. Like Mary, true surrender means trusting God's will over our own, even when we don't understand. Surrender isn't weakness—it's strength in letting go and allowing God to work through every moment. Our regular service is at 10am on Sundays. We are located at 304 E. Austin Ave in Hutto, TX. The Christmas story is filled with holy moments where ordinary people are invited into God's extraordinary plan. But while Mary's revelation came through a direct angelic encounter, Joseph's holy moment came quietly—in a dream, in the middle of personal heartbreak, confusion, and shattered plans. Joseph enters the Christmas story facing what feels like the worst news of his life. The woman he loves is pregnant, and he knows the child is not his. The law gave Joseph the right to expose her, shame her, and walk away. Instead, Joseph chooses compassion. Before God ever speaks, Joseph's character is already showing. But then God interrupts Joseph's pain with a holy moment—a dream that calls him to do the hardest thing imaginable: Lay down his hurt, surrender his plans, and obey God when the story makes no sense. Joseph's “yes” to God meant: Embracing a child that was not biologically his Choosing faith over reputation Bearing whispers, judgment, and misunderstanding Protecting Mary and Jesus at great personal cost Trusting God through dreams rather than explanations Joseph reminds us that some of the holiest moments in our lives are not thrilling or emotional—they are costly, quiet “yeses” in the dark. This Christmas, God may be inviting you into a similar moment. A moment where obedience feels risky… where surrender feels unfair… where trust stretches you farther than you want to go. Holy moments of surrender and obedience are where heaven meets earth—and where God births His greatest work through ordinary people.
Holy Moments Week 3: Sheppard's
This Advent season, we're preparing our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus—the Light who came into our darkness. Each candle reminds us of God's unshakable promises: Hope that never fails, Peace that arrives in humility, Joy that meets us where we are, and Love that came down to save us. All of it points to Christ—the fulfillment of prophecy and the Light of the World. As we look back to His first coming, we also look forward with anticipation to His return, when He will make all things new.Our regular service is at 10am on Sundays. We are located at 304 E. Life is made up of moments—but some moments are holy. In our new series, “Holy Moments,” we're exploring how God steps into the ordinary and makes it extraordinary through our obedience. Joseph's simple “yes” to God changed history, reminding us that we don't need the full picture to take the first step. One moment of obedience can open the door to God's greatest work in your life—what holy moment might your obedience create? Our regular service is at 10am on Sundays. We are located at 304 E. Sermon audio from week one of our series "Holy Moments." Sunday December 7, 2025.
Have you ever felt like you are in a sprint from Thanksgiving to Christmas? It's easy for us to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season, with its many distractions and festivities. Yet when we allow ourselves to slow down, we realize the holiest moments are the ones found in silence and communion with the Savior where we create the space for Him to reveal Himself to us. Throughout the story of the birth of Christ, the angel Gabriel brings divine revelation of world-changing news to several of God's servants. In an instant, the ordinary is interrupted by the extraordinary as Gabriel announces the arrival of the long-awaited Messiah. These angelic encounters remind us that God's plans are often revealed through surprising and unexpected means. The Creator of the universe longs to speak directly into the lives of ordinary people to fulfill His extraordinary purposes. During Advent, we are invited to listen for God's voice amid the busyness and noise of the season. Quiet moments of revelation are holy moments where heaven meets earth.
Holy Moments: Week 2 Surrender
Cam Cooksey brings faith, laughter, and raw honesty to this heartfelt Halloween edition of Flow. Broadcasting from a house full of candy, cats, and chaos, Cam opens up about spiritual renewal, prayer, and the importance of surrendering control. He reflects on how grief, pride, and worldly distractions can cloud our connection with God, and why humility and gratitude are the only way back to peace. Between stories about childhood Halloweens, family memories, and the origins of trick-or-treating, Cam draws parallels between light and darkness, fear and faith, and the divine lessons hidden in everyday life. Listeners join the conversation live, sharing personal stories and prayer requests as the chat turns into a genuine moment of community. Warm, funny, and deeply spiritual, this episode is both a Halloween hangout and a reminder that the flow of life always leads back to God.
In this new episode, I share a story that reminded me of the enormous impact small acts of kindness can have on our lives—and the lives of others. Inspired by the book Holy Moments, I open up about a simple trip to Whole Foods with my family that turned into something much greater: an opportunity to practice generosity and witness the ripple effects of kindness. What began as a small decision to help created a holy moment—one filled with gratitude, reflection, and deeper faith. I'll be honest—at first, I wrestled with doubt. Was I really helping the right person? Was it enough? But God showed me that the true power of generosity isn't in analyzing outcomes—it's in trusting that every act of love has meaning. This episode is your reminder that every interaction, no matter how ordinary, carries the potential to become a holy moment. When we choose to give, to trust, and to love, we align with God's heart and create ripples that go far beyond what we can see.

Homily from the Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The moments are holy when the moments are His...and the moments are His when the motive is Him. When something is dedicated, it is transformed. It is elevated and becomes something more. When a moment is dedicated to God, it becomes a holy moment. Mass Readings from February 11, 2024: Leviticus 13:1-2, 44-46 Psalms 32:1-2, 5, 111 Corinthians 10:31—11:1 Mark 1:40-45
Homily from the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time. You can only share what you have. Holy moments are shared moments. We share like Jesus (and make moments holy) when we are generous and honest. Mass Readings from February 4, 2024:: Job 7:1-4, 6-7 Psalms 147:1-61 Corinthians 9:16-19, 22-23 Mark 1:29-39
Homily from the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Holy Moment is the present moment. When we live lives of distraction we cannot live lives of wonder or joy or holiness. Distraction steals life away because it takes us away from the present moment. And the present moment is the only moment that has the potential to be a holy moment. Mass Readings from January 28, 2024: Deuteronomy 18:15-20 Psalms 95:1-2, 6-91 Corinthians 7:32-35 Mark 1:21-28
Homily from the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time. Holy moments are ordinary moments reconsidered. An ordinary life is not an obstacle to a holy life. In fact, every extraordinary life is made up of ordinary moments that we choose to make into holy moments. Mass Readings from January 21, 2024: Jonah 3:1-5, 10 Psalms 25:4-91 Corinthians 7:29-31 Mark 1:14-20
