Psalm 119:97-105 Mem 97 Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. 98 Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the aged, for I keep your precepts. 101 I hold back my feet from every evil way, in order to keep your word. 102 I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me. 103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Nun 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. God has Hope for you here. Kemper Crabb joins the Pugsters once again for a conversation about mysterious creatures mentioned in the Bible, including particularly satyrs (Hebrew sa’iyr) and dragons (Hebrew taninim or leviathan), with cameos by behemoth and Lilith. The conversation then turns to how Christians can recover a supernatural worldview and the necessity to do so, given that much of the culture is already moving in that direction. Most people aren't familiar with the story of Jesus and the Ten Leopards. One of His rare recorded incidents with wildlife. No. Ten Lepers. Very different thing. Here are some ideas this sermon will cover: The shortest path was never a straight line. Going straight toward Jesus is a long and winding road. Every time. Doing things you don't want to do is how to get to do the things you really want to do. The story of how Kemper Crabb and Frank Hart became friends. Your sin is more gross than a leper's ginger root nub of fingers. Your faith in Jesus will heal you. Eventually. Keep walking in the direction He tells you to go. God has Hope for you here. In this episode, we discuss the readings for the fifth Sunday of Easter (Year C in the lectionary cycle): Acts 11:1-18; Psalm 148; Revelation 21:1-6: John 13:31-35.We consider what it means to be Jesus' children marked by His love that we have for one another, the glorious heart-longing promises ofRevelation 21, the hymnody of all creation commanded to praise the Lord, and the early church's unshakeable trust in the Spirit's guidance and remarkable joy over the inclusion of the Gentiles.Other notes:Kemper Crabb's The VigilDr. Bruce Waltke's An Old Testament Theology: An Exegetical, Canonical, and Thematic Approach Our outro music is an original song by our friend Dcn. Today's guest is a multi-talented musician who has been active in a number of bands. There is ArkAngel, Radio Halo, and Atomic Opera. He also worked with Caedmon's Call for a season in addition to having several albums of his own. I'm not sure how to classify Kemper's music. Is it Old English, Celtic, Medieval, or Art/Progressive Rock? Probably a little of all each of those styles. But Kemper is much more than just a musician. He is an author, teacher, and an Episcopal priest, currently working at a Lutheran church. Kemper is a true renaissance man, with a medieval bent and a heart for using art to reach people for Jesus. Kemper lays out the simple yet complex key to being able to tell true conspiracies from false conspiracies. "May you live in interesting times. We are swimming in conspiracy theories: Trump is a racist. Michelle Obama is actually a man. A secrete tribunal has replaced celebrities and leaders with clones. Bill Gates oversaw the genesis of COVID19. The government created AIDS to wipe out homosexuals. Many of our leaders are alien lizard people. Our society is systemically racist. (Some of these are likely true.)" You will either know the truth by having faith in Jesus, or you will be ground to dust because of your unbelief. You should probably listen to this. God has Hope for you here.

If we don't do our part in the Church, we work against Christ. I am responsible to love the Lord with all my mind. If I love Jesus I will do what He says. If we love Jesus we will do what He says. Before you go and make those New Year's resolutions, perhaps you should consider these things.
Colossians 2:6-15 Fight the powers. There are spiritual battles that are part of the Christian life that we must be aware of.
What's the Bible good for? What are we supposed to do with the parts of Scripture that we don't like? We think the Bible speaks to all of life in principle, precept, and example. God's Word is sufficient—it is enough. Enough is enough.
What do we do if Jesus infers that we are dogs who who worship idols? May we suggest that you answer Him with His own words?
If a man is to be characterized by a Biblically informed understanding then he will be a prophet, a priest, and a king in his reflection of Christ to the world.
Kelly Crabb reported that his uncle, Kemper Crabb is a missionary to Uganda and India. He said that the largest REVIVAL in the HISTORY of the CHURCH, 400 million people have come into the Kingdom of God in Uganda and India too.----That is more people than the number of people who have come to Christ in the entire world in the last 20 years. Nearly thirty years ago Christians in Uganda, a land locked country in Africa, was persecuted by Idi Amin, 1971-1979, who had the goal of eradicating Christianity from his land. Keefe Sempangi was the pastor who brought the tragey to the attention of the Christians around the world, in his book, A Distant Grief published in 2006.----Since that time, Uganda implemented Biblical Law into their country, and they enforce these laws. Uganda is now an 83- Christian nation. They used to be an impoverished, barren waste land with summer temperatures that ranged from 110-120 degrees. God has healed their land, they now have 80 degree temperatures in the summer, it now rains and the land bears fruit. God has blessed their produce too.----Let-s pay attention to the reading of Colossians 1-15-20. In Colossians 1-15-20 we see Christ Jesus as the express image of god the Father in verse 15, we see Jesus as the first born of creation in verses 16-17, and we see Jesus as the first born of redemption in verses 18-20.
Kemper closes out the "Nurture" series by looking at how relationships are modeled by the Trinity, and how Father, Son Holy Spirit is a picture of Husband, Wife, Child in a family dynamic.
