One of the core beliefs in Islam is that of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat, which means Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the last and final Prophet of Allah. Whoever doesn't believe in Khatm-e-Nubuwwat automatically becomes a Kafir. Based on this, the Qadiyanis have been declared Kafir in Pakistan. Imam Hosam Helal currently serves as the Youth Counsellor and Educator at ISNA Canada. Associate Chaplain at the University of Brock and an Imam/Teacher at several Masajid in Ontario. Imam Hosam completed his Islamic education in Quran exegesis at Al-Azhar University and studied under the guidance of several Shyookh including his father, Shaykh Ibrahim Helal, an instructor at Al-Azhar. He also completed his education in Health & Disease, Near & Middle Eastern Civilization, Sociology, and Neuroscience at the University of Toronto. Now he continues his schooling at the University of Toronto, hoping to complete a PhD in Religion, with a focus on Quran exegesis. Imam Hosam Helal is also pursuing a career in medicine, hoping to combine medical and religious service for his community. By the blessing of Allah SWT and with the help of his mother, Shaykh Hosam Helal memorized the Quran at the age of eight and has since received several Ijazahs in its various recitation styles. Currently, he is working on his Ijazahs in the ten Riwayat or recitation variants.

Sacred Knowledge is honoured to present the closing session of the "40 hadith of Imam Nawawi" classes which took place in August 2008. This long-running course initiated and taught by Shaykh Abdul Aziz Ahmed in Glasgow, ended with Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi covering the 42nd and final hadith of Imam Nawawi's famous collection of Prophetic narrations. An electrifying lecture, beneficial to both beginners and more advanced students of knowledge, covering topics related to the science of hadith as well as short biographical sketches of scholars of the past. This talk is dedicated to Sidi Imran Sabir (d. 3/3/2009), may Allah have mercy on him.
