L'un des aspects les plus sublimes de la conduite de Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba était sa parfaite politesse et son respect absolu envers Dieu et Son Messager, ainsi que sa préférence totale pour ce qui leur plaisait. Cela se manifestait dans sa manière de faire ses prières et Zikr, qui constituaient la majeure partie de ses actions spirituelles. Il plaçait toujours la louange de Dieu, puis la prière sur le Prophète PSL avant toute invocation, conformément au hadith rapporté par Al-Tirmidhi.Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba composait des poèmes pour exprimer sa demande à Dieu, renouveler son engagement spirituel et affirmer son attachement exclusif à Lui. Il entreprit plusieurs voyages et rencontres avec des maîtres spirituels dans le seul but de vérifier et parfaire son chemin vers Dieu. Il se servit notamment des ouvrages de Al-Ghazâlî pour la réforme morale et du Cheikh Al-Yaddâlî pour approfondir la science soufie...

I want to wash Your clothes and pick the lice off. I want to bring You milk, to kiss Your little hands and feet when it's time for You to go to bed. I want to sweep Your room and keep it neat. God, my sheep and goats are Yours. All I can say, remembering You, is ayyyy and ahhhhhhhhh.”Moses could stand it no longer. “Who are you talking to? The One who made us, and made the earth and made the sky. Don't talk about shoes and socks with God! And what's this with ‘Your little hands and feet?' Such blasphemous familiarity sounds like you're chatting with your uncles. Only something that grows needs milk. Only someone with feet needs shoes. Not God! Even if you meant God's human representatives as when God said, I was sick, and you did not visit me, even then this tone would be foolish and irreverent.“Use appropriate terms. Fatima is a fine name for a woman, but if you call a man Fatima, it's an insult. Body-and-birth language are right for us on this side of the river, but not for addressing the Origin, not for Allah.”The shepherd repented and tore his clothes and sighed and wandered out into the desert. A sudden revelation came then to Moses. God's voice:“You have separated Me from one of my own. Did you come as a Prophet to unite, or to sever? I have given each being a separate and unique way of seeing and knowing and saying that knowledge.What seems wrong to you is right for him.What is poison to one is honey to someone else.Purity and impurity, sloth and diligence in worship,these mean nothing to Me.I am apart from all that.Ways of worshiping are not to be ranked as betteror worse than one another.It's all praise, and it's all right. It's not Me that's glorified in acts of worship. It's the worshipers! I don't hear the words they say. I look at the humility. That broken-open lowliness is the Reality, not the language! Forget phraseology. I want burning, burning. Be friends with your burning. Burn up your thinking and your forms of expression! Moses, those who pay attention to ways of behaving and speaking are one sort. Lovers who burn are another.Don't impose a property tax on a burned out village. Don't scold the Lover. The wrong way he talks is better than a hundred right ways of others.Inside the Kaaba it doesn't matter which direction you point your prayer rug! The ocean diver doesn't need snowshoes! The Love-Religion has no code or doctrine. Only God. So the ruby has nothing engraved on it! It doesn't need markings.”God began speaking deeper mysteries to Moses. Vision and words, which cannot be recorded here, poured into and through him. Osmanlıca ifadesiyle “isabet-i ayn”, yani (göz değmesi) vardır ve vâkidir. Bazı insanların gözü, baktığı şeye büyük bir hasret ve iştiyakla bakar; erişilmesi güç bir mazhariyet ve nâiliyet hissiyle nazar eder. Böyle derin hasret ve arzu ile bakışlardan sonra bakılan o şeyde bir arıza meydana gelebilir, bir rahatsızlık söz konusu olabilir. Buna isabet-i ayn, yahut göz değmesi denir. Rasûl-ü Ekrem Efendimiz (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem), nazarın hak olduğunu bildirdiği bir hadis-i şerifinde, “Nazar deveyi kazana, insanı mezara girdirir.” buyurmuşlardır. *Allah Rasûlü (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) nazar değmesine karşı, Âyetü'l-Kürsî'yi, İhlâs, Felak ve Nâs sûrelerini okumuş, Ashabına da bunları okumalarını tavsiye buyurmuştur. Ayrıca meşâyih ve ehl-i keşf, nazarın etkisinden korunmak veya nazar isabet etmiş ise kurtulmak için Kalem Sûresi'nin 51. ve 52. âyetlerinin okunmasını tavsiye etmişlerdir. Kalem Sûresi'nde, zikri geçen âyetlerin metni ve anlamı şöyledir: وَإِنْ يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ لَمَجْنُونٌ وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ “O kâfirler Zikr'i (Kur'ân'ı) işittikleri zaman, hırslarından neredeyse bakışlarıyla seni kaydıracak, âdeta gözleriyle yiyecekler! Ve o ‘delinin teki!' derler. (Delilik nerede, o nerede! Kur'ân'ın hiç delilikle ilgisi mi olur?) Kur'ân olsa olsa, sadece bütün insanlara bir derstir.” “Allah'ın yürüttüğünü kimse durduramaz!..” *Termitler, kubbeler yaptığından dolayı, eserlerine bakıp onları gergedan sanan kimseler var. Yahu Allah yaptırıyor; termitin ne haddine?!. Termitin diğer türleri karıncalar yerin altında bir delik bulur başlarını sokarlarsa, sultanlık sayıyorlar; kendilerini ak sarayda mı, pembe sarayda mı, turuncu sarayda mı zannediyorlar! O termitlere gelince, Selçuklu kubbeleri gibi onlar kubbeler yapıyorlar. Termitin kubbesine bakan onu fil gibi görüyorsa, o kendi zavallı yanılgısına ağlasın. Biz katiyen inanıyor ve biliyoruz ki, Türkiye'deki on beş milyon insanın hepsi on sekiz saatini bu işe vererek aktif hale gelse, yine de Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın inayeti söz konusu olmadan dünyanın yüz yetmiş ülkesinde 1300 okul açılmaz. Vallahi açılmaz. Kültür lokalleri açılmaz.. yurtlar açılmaz.. pansiyonlar açılmaz.. televizyonlar açılmaz.. radyolar açılmaz.. gazeteler çıkmaz.. okuyucu elde edilemez. İnâyet-i ilahiye olmayınca olmaz. *“Bu ölsün de bu iş bitsin!” diyorlar. Yanılıyorsunuz!.. Bir işi Allah sevk ve idare buyuruyorsa ve insanların ihsasları, daha doğrusu iç hamleleri diyebileceğimiz ihtisasları o Allah'ın meşiet-i sübhaniyesiyle ve irade-i sübhaniyesiyle oluyorsa, vallahi billahi tallahi onu kimse durduramaz. Onu Bizans da durduramaz, Pers de durduramaz.. Bizansça hareket edenler de durduramazlar, Persçe hareket edenler de durduramazlar, Allah'ın izniyle. Allah'ın yürüttüğünü kimse durduramaz!.. İhlâs sûre-i celilesi, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın lâzım-ı Zâtiyesi olan sıfât-ı kemal ile tavsifi ve Zâtına münâfî noksan sıfatlardan da tenzihi ifade etmesi açısından tevhid-i ulûhiyeti takrir eder. Kâfirûn sûresi ise, ibadet ve perestişin ancak ve ancak şerîk ve nazîri bulunmayan Allah'a mahsus olmasını ifade etmesi açısından tevhid-i ubûdiyeti takrir eylemektedir. *Felak ve Nâs sûrelerinin ikisine birden “Muavvizeteyn” denilir; bu ifade “Allah'a sığınmayı gösteren, O'na iltica ettiren, Hakk'a sığınmaya vesile, kendisiyle Rabb'e istiâze edilen” iki sûre demektir. Bu sûrelerde Allah Teâlâ, görünen ve görünmeyen, bilinen ve bilinmeyen, afakî ve enfüsî, insî ve cinnî bütün korkunç ve zararlı şeylerden kendisine sığınmamızı emretmiştir. *Felak Sûresi قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ “De ki: Sığınırım şafak vaktinin Rabbine: Yarattığı şeylerin şerrinden, karanlığı çöktüğü zaman gecenin şerrinden, düğümlere üfleyip büyü yapan büyücü kadınların şerrinden ve haset ettiği zaman hasetçinin şerrinden.” Büyü ve Nazara Karşı Felak ve Nas Sureleri *Ehl-i Sünnet âlimlerine göre, sihir bir gerçektir ve onun bazı türlerinin fizikî dünyaya tesirleri de söz konusudur; ancak bu tesir sihirbazın değil, onun sebepleri yerine getirmesi neticesinde Allah'ın yarattığı bir tesirdir. Buhârî ve Müslim gibi sahih hadis kitaplarında, Allah Rasûlü'ne de (aleyhi ekmelü't-tehâyâ) büyü yapıldığından bahsedilir; böylelikle meselenin olabilirliği vurgulanmış ve ondan kurtulmanın çaresi gösterilmiştir. Peygamber Efendimiz (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) kendisine büyü yapıldığının farkına varınca dua etmiş ve Cenâb-ı Allah'tan şifa dilemişti. Çok geçmeden Hazreti Cibrîl ve Mikâil (aleyhimesselam) gelerek işin hakikatini Efendimiz'e haber vermiş; Allah Rasûlü'nden alınan bir tarak saç-sakal ile hurma çiçeği kullanılarak Lebîd İbn-i A'sam tarafından yapılan büyünün Zervan kuyusuna atıldığını söylemişlerdi. Rasûl-ü Ekrem, bazı ashâbıyla beraber o kuyuya gitmiş ve kuyuyu kapatmışlardı. Hazreti Aişe, “Ya Rasûlallah, sihri çıkardınız mı?” diye sorunca Efendimiz, “Hayır çıkarmadım. O sihri çıkarıp çözmekle halk arasında sihrin şuyû bulmasından endişe ettim.” buyurmuş; Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın, kendisine şifa verdiğini ve şifa bulmak için illâ sihri çözmek gerekmediğini belirtmişti. (Buhari, Tıbb 47,49,50, Nesai, Tahrim 20) *Allah Rasûlü (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) nazar değmesine karşı, Âyetü'l-Kürsî'yi, İhlâs, Felak ve Nâs sûrelerini okumuş, Ashabına da bunları okumalarını tavsiye buyurmuştur.
