Paulus bukan hanya “mengajar”, tetapimempercayakan tugas, menaruh harapan, dan membentuk karakter rohani mereka.  Demikian juga Yesus ketika mengutus tujuh puluh muriduntuk pergi berdua-dua: Ia tidak hanya memberi perintah, tetapi memberikankepercayaan bahwa mereka mampu membawa damai, menyembuhkan, dan mewartakanKerajaan Allah. Dalam iman, kepercayaan bukan sekadar perasaan aman, melainkankeputusan untuk berjalan bersama dalam kebenaran dan misi. Keunggulan terbesar dari kepercayaan adalah lahirnyakekuatan batin untuk bertanggung jawab. Seorang murid yang dipercaya akanmerasa hidupnya bermakna: ia berani melangkah, tidak mudah menyerah, dan maubelajar dari kesalahan. Kepercayaan juga menciptakan ruang untukbertumbuh—murid tidak takut gagal karena ia tahu ia dibimbing, bukan dihakimi.Selain itu, kepercayaan memperkuat kesatuan visi: guru dan murid melayani bukanuntuk nama diri, melainkan untuk misi Tuhan. Maka, ketika Paulus mengutusTimotius dan Titus dalam pelayanan Gereja perdana, ia sedang menegaskan bahwakepercayaan dapat menghidupkan keberanian, kesetiaan, dan ketekunan dalamtugas. Namun, kepercayaan adalah sesuatu yang rapuh dan harusdijaga. Agar kepercayaan tidak hilang, yang paling penting adalah kejujuran,konsistensi, dan kerendahan hati. Kepercayaan runtuh bukan hanya karenakesalahan besar, tetapi sering karena kebiasaan kecil: tidak menepati janji,tidak transparan, menutupi kebenaran, atau mulai bekerja dengan motivasi ganda.Kepercayaan juga harus dipelihara lewat komunikasi yang jelas—seperti Paulusyang terus menulis surat, meneguhkan, mengingatkan, dan mengarahkan Timotiusdan Titus. Jika hubungan guru-murid tidak dirawat, maka jarak akan tumbuh,salah paham mudah terjadi, dan misi perlahan kehilangan daya rohaninya. Berikut contoh-contoh sederhana. Seorang guru  memberi tugas nyata kepada murid, lalumendampingi dengan evaluasi yang sehat. Seorang pembina meminta murid memimpindoa atau membuat pelayanan kecil, lalu setelah selesai, guru tidak langsungmengkritik, tetapi mengapresiasi dulu, kemudian memberi koreksi dengan kasih:jelas, konkret, dan membangun. Murid pun belajar bahwa ia dipercaya, tetapitetap diarahkan agar bertumbuh. Inilah semangat Yesus yang mengutus murid-muridberdua-dua: ada tanggung jawab, ada dukungan, dan ada kebersamaan. Kepercayaanyang sejati bukan membiarkan orang berjalan sendiri, melainkan membuat orangberani berjalan karena tahu ia tidak berjalan sendirian.Marilah kita berdoa. Susan, Katy and Florian meet up to toast the end of another season, and of course to clink glasses in honor of our featured Dead Lady, Eileen Agar.  Eileen Agar was the sort of artist who looked at a hat and thought, What if it grew feathers, sprouted seashells, and started whispering secrets to strangers? Born in Buenos Aires and raised in Britain, Agar was a painter, collagist and sculptor with a delicious taste for the absurd. She danced on the edges of Surrealism—sometimes elbowing her way in, sometimes pirouetting just out of reach—and exhibited alongside the likes of Dalí and Ernst, though she never let their mustaches overshadow her own wildly imaginative vision.
