Interview of me by former co-host. The podcast was called TrippnLarry, and my co-host's name was Larie Pidgeon of Instagram's Hudson Valley Happenings. She had such a hand on the pulse of the Hudson Valley. And after our interview, I turned off the recorder and she said, You know what? I've been wanting to get into podcasting for a long time. And I know through what you've done in the Hudson Valley what I've done, we could really pull in a lot of very unique, interesting, fascinating people. And would you be interested in the possibility of co hosting a podcast with me? And of course, I jumped on the opportunity, which is just so fun. Fabulous. We had a great chemistry and the few interviews we did do were so much fun. And everyone involved said, gosh, that was just the greatest time of us has and the finest chemistry and we just can't wait to see what's going to happen. So unfortunately, that had to come to an end as I came to Texas in quarantine and transition to my podcast from the East Coast to Texas. 

Larie' was born Larie Donaile Edwards Jr in Richmond Virginia was destined to follow his passion in music since singing in the church at 7 years old, under the tutelage of his father Larie Edwards Sr, a well known local church pianist in the Richmond area.Larie' grew up listening to classic R@B where his idols was Donny Hathaway and Barry White,to name a few. Being a child of the Hip Hop generation, it inspired him to write poems and short stories about his life. This went on to propel him to compete on the boy's poetry team in high school and win various competitions throughout the state of Virginia. He also further honed his talent singing in school choruses, performing at various talent shows, and church services around the city of Richmond. Larie' attended Norfolk State University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Media.During this time is when Larie' would get a pure taste of the music industry, underground and mainstream..After covering R.kelly's, "Your Bodies Callin", his own x-rated version, at local talent showcase, he was offered a contract with the now-defunct label "Ruff Records"Larie' was introduced to legendary R@B singer Chico Debarge, who loved his style and wanted to work to get him a major recording deal. The lead single "Captivating" from his forthcoming Ep" Love Anthems" Larié weaves a blend of Rhythm and Blues, neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, and Spoken Word into his music. In February of 2017 Daia had $1,200 to her name, no plan at all and bought a one way ticket to London not sure where the road would take her. What she didn’t realize at the time was that she was walking into a ten month adventure where should would visit 18 countries like Iceland, Indonesia, France, Italy and more all along the way capturing her journey via blog, videos or pictures on her Instagram. Just a year before she was living her life in Las Vegas working and once she got a taste of traveling she walked away from everything to see what the world had to offer. She grew up in Los Angeles until she was 7 and then went to high school in Las Vegas. Her father was never around so her mother stepped up to the plate and was always hustling to make ends meet. When Daia wasn’t working 60 hours a week during her senior year she enjoyed dance and cheerleading. Although people around her were pressuring her to go to college she didn’t and instead followed what she thought was best for her. At one point Daia had a car, full-time job, apartment and all the material items she could ever want but all it took was a four week trip to London that changed everything. Having withdrawals from being abroad she sold everything she owned. Instead of spending her money on things that added 0 value to her life she began putting her dollars towards equipment that helped build her business or saved it to put it towards traveling. In this episode Daia discusses the social skills she mastered from working retail, learning everything that she knows today from YouTube, how she was able to continue to travel after spending all of her money in the first two months, leveraging her Instagram following to get free accommodations at hotels & restaurants, believing in yourself is the biggest lesson she’s learned while traveling abroad, the first step to take if someone is looking to travel, there is no such thing as overnight success, why she stopped blaming other people for how she was feeling and knowing that every person had to start somewhere to get to where they’re today. One of the big takeaways from this episode is that not having a plan isn’t always a bad thing.
