In this episode we conclude our conversation with Derek and April as the continue to explore the idea of not being OK. Also, learn how their first time at the Table challenged their previous experiences involving "church" gatherings, but was exactly what they have been looking for. Derek has seen and experienced the level of safety and authenticity but it was in a work setting but not ever in a Christian one. The connection that was felt at the Table was something that they wanted and tried to foster for years. Derek and April will also answer the question, "The Table to me Is...? Both answers are truly amazing and you don't want to miss it. What if we could create a space where safety, identity, belonging, and connection resided? What if every time you walked in the room everyone was happy to see you? What if there was a place where your gifts and insight were welcomed or even required by community?
