This week on The Sports Agents...From sneaking a disguised Novak Djokovic into a team talk, to lessons from Ben Stokes and the LIV/PGA divide, we chatted to European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald for an exclusive interview (02:15). One day Jim Ratcliffe said Manchester United were on track to be 'bust by Christmas', and the next they announced plans for a £2bn stadium... so we asked Professor of Football Finance at the University of Liverpool, Kieran Maguire, how that makes sense (08:45). Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt, Sarah Storey... lots of famous sportspeople have tried switching sports. We got into what that's like with double Olympic champion Jade Jones, who's swapping taekwondo for boxing. We also chatted to Usain Bolt's football coach, Mike Mulvey (16:30). And comedian Adam Hills chatted to us about his new role as President of the Rugby Football league, which seems to involve a big gold chain, hearing stories from his Ukrainian counterpart and spending his spare time at the Para-Standing Tennis World Championships (21:30). A quiet day in Australian football news yesterday - with just 2 A-league signings to report on - both for the Central Coast Mariners. We start with Burnley midfielder Aiden O'Neill has returned to his native Australia on a season-long loan with The Mariners. The Brisbane-born 20-year-old managed three Premier League appearances for the Burnley in the 2016-17 season prior to a short spell with Oldham Athletic. He joined Fleetwood Town on loan last term and appeared 21 times in League One. O'Neill has represented Australia at Under-23 level. Central Coast Mariners have also confirmed the signing of impressive right-back Matthew Millar for the 2018/19 Season. The 21-year-old signed a one-year deal after impressing coach Mike Mulvey from more than 50 players from the NPL who trialled at the Mariners. Millar has played in the Hyundai A-League before, having made four appearances with Melbourne City in the 2015/16 Season.

And in the Capital Football NPL Cooma Tigers have moved into a finals spot after beating Gungahlin United 2 nil. Mike Mulvey has rejected suggestions that Usain Bolt is blocking opportunities for actual footballers to trial for an A-League contract with the Central Coast Mariners. The club's decision to allow Bolt to train with the Mariners first team for an "indefinite" period has made headlines around the world but has been met with a mixed reaction in Australian football circles. Some view it as a shameless gimmick at a time when A-League clubs should be looking closer at young Australian players, particularly those toiling away in state-based NPL competitions.
