Uwe Boll is no stranger to controversy. I first heard of him about 20 years ago when he challenged his harshest critics to a boxing match. Well, he's back in everyone's sights with his latest film, Citizen Vigilante, due to it's politically charging nature. Some recent interviews only focused on the politics. Others clearly never saw the movie and just wanted to attack him. However, I wanted to treat Uwe like how I would want to be treated and we just talked. Turns out he's one of the nicest people I interviewed!  Tune in as we discuss German food, bakeries, movies and more. Timo und Zeljko erinnern sich an seine großen Rollen – von Jurassic Park über Event Horizon bis hin zu Mächte des Wahnsinns. Ein Schauspieler, der über Jahrzehnte prägte. Dann geht's zurück zu Obsession: Zeljko war zum dritten Mal im Kino – dieses Mal auf Deutsch – und der Film hat ihn noch mehr überzeugt. Die deutsche Synchro kann zwar nicht an die Original-Performance von Inde Navarrette heranreichen, aber die dritte Sichtung hat ihm noch mehr Tiefe gezeigt. Für ihn ein sicherer Klassiker der nächsten 20 Jahre. Danach wird es politisch: Citizen Vigilante – der neue Film von Uwe Boll, der für viel Wirbel sorgte. Timo hat ihn sich trotz aller Warnungen gegeben und ist ernüchtert: schlechtes Schauspiel, langweilige Story, wackelige Kamera und vor allem rechte Propaganda, die als Actionfilm getarnt ist. Ein Film, der filmisch nichts zu bieten hat – und den man sich getrost sparen kann. Film der Woche: The Furious – der neue Eastern-Action-Hit, der in Timos Bubble als Meisterwerk gefeiert wird. Während Zeljko völlig begeistert ist und das Finale sowie die Kampfchoreografien liebt, hat Timo ein paar Kritikpunkte: Die Geräusche erinnern an Bud-Spencer-Filme, die Kämpfe ziehen sich zu lange, und manche Figuren halten einfach unrealistisch viel aus. Trotzdem ein solider Film – für Fans von Handkanten-Action auf jeden Fall ein Must-Watch, auch wenn nicht jeder darin das neue The Raid sehen wird. Un giovane riccone esperto di guerriglia, armi e tecniche di lotta, vuole convincere tutta la popolazione mondiale a seguire la sua crociata nella lotta agli immigrati e ai rappresentanti della legge che li lasciano impuniti. Avrà sostenitori ovunque.Più che un film di propaganda, questo è un film stupido, ridicolo, fatto male e messo in scena strascicamente da un regista furbo, entrato nelle grazie di quel coglione di Musk, che lo ha distribuito.Ma di qualunque corrente politica voi siate, penso che sarete d'accordo nel tenere ben lontano questo audiovisivo dal concetto di cinema. Tanto se ne sta parlando che faranno anche un seguito, che certamente sarà ancora più brutto.Una pessima resurrezione artistica per Armie Hammer, che si è piantato da solo i chiodi sulla bara e un'accozzaglia di scene buttate a caso, che fanno ridere a crepapelle o restare basiti.Può comunque essere una splendida lezione di tutto ciò che non si deve fare quando si cerca di fare un film.

Von Grenzübergängen, sprechenden Schafen und einer Besessenheit, die unter die Haut geht Timo hat Faces of Death gesehen, das moderne Social-Media-Remake des berüchtigten 70er-Jahre-Kultfilms, und war leider enttäuscht: langweilig, rudimentär und eher zum Vergessen. Auch der politisch umstrittene Citizen Vigilante von Uwe Boll kommt zur Sprache – aber nur, weil er gerade überall für Aufregung sorgt, nicht weil ihn jemand gesehen hat. Zeljko hat endlich Sicario nachgeholt – und ist begeistert. Denis Villeneuve liefert einen atmosphärisch dichten, spannungsgeladenen Thriller mit einer atemberaubenden Kamera und einem Score, der unter die Haut geht. Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro und Josh Brolin sind großartig – und der legendäre Grenzübergang ist ein filmisches Meisterwerk. Timo steuert etwas ganz anderes bei: Glenkill – Ein Schafskrimi (Original: The Sheep Detectives). Ein Whodunit mit sprechenden Schafen, Hugh Jackman und einer herzerwärmenden Botschaft über Vergessen, Loslassen und den Tod. They are wise to shut it down, because they aren't willing to take the necessary steps to change to make the movie less relevant…A shop owner in my constituency was ignored by the police when he reported shoplifting. But when he displayed pictures of the thieves, the police showed up - to tell him that those pictures violated GDPR. Madness. A free run for criminals, while normal people get crushed. This beautiful and talented young Irish teacher went for a run one morning and was brutally stabbed to death in the neck by an immigrant on benefits from Slovakia. His family, also on benefits in Ireland, tried to hide his crime. The British and Irish media and governments tried to downplay the crime and instead tried to destroy the life of her grieving boyfriend because he stated that neither the man or his family should have been in Ireland in the first place. Citizen Vigilante is an action thriller described as a modern-day riff on "Death Wish." Germany refused to give it a rating, effectively denying its release. Director of the film Uwe Boll said: "...It was a deliberate censorship decision. I hired a lawyer to complain about it, but we lost in a six-two vote as I was told that the film was inciting violence against migrants."A 12-year-old boy accused of holding a girl down by shoving rocks in her mouth so his buddy could rape her was just let go by a judge.  Time to prosecute this little monster and jail the woke judge? The whole story is even crazier. According to reports, an African migrant began publicly masturbating in front of children in an Italian public swimming pool. He was then confronted by an Italian and started a brawl, which he lost. Suddenly, a white woman threw herself protectively in front of him. A symbol of our society. Suicidal empathy.HOLY SMOKES! It's been confirmed that the man in Chicago who set a woman on fire had 72 ARRESTS - not the initially thought 49 WHAT THE HELL?!!!!! - A group of six "teens" SHOT FIREWORKS INTO A CROWD OF FAMILIES outside of DC at a "family friendly" movie night. They aimed the fireworks directly at CHILDREN!!!! BLANKETS WERE CAIGHT ON FIRE and the crowd, including small children began RUNNING FOR THEIR LIVES!!! One brave man stepped in, grabbed a firework before it exploded, and HURLED it away from children. Not a SINGLE ARREST has been made and police have not released any descriptions of the "teens" who did this…In Brooklyn, NY, Dir. of the Muslim American Society, Mohammad Badaway says, “As a Muslim, my life's mission is to fight the US Government, US Army and ICE until my last breath…. the reason for my existence.” A former Air Force engineer in Virginia has been arrested after he allegedly damaged / destroyed over a dozen Flock cameras.
