This week on The Sports Agents...From sneaking a disguised Novak Djokovic into a team talk, to lessons from Ben Stokes and the LIV/PGA divide, we chatted to European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald for an exclusive interview (02:15). One day Jim Ratcliffe said Manchester United were on track to be 'bust by Christmas', and the next they announced plans for a £2bn stadium... so we asked Professor of Football Finance at the University of Liverpool, Kieran Maguire, how that makes sense (08:45). Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt, Sarah Storey... lots of famous sportspeople have tried switching sports. We got into what that's like with double Olympic champion Jade Jones, who's swapping taekwondo for boxing. We also chatted to Usain Bolt's football coach, Mike Mulvey (16:30). And comedian Adam Hills chatted to us about his new role as President of the Rugby Football league, which seems to involve a big gold chain, hearing stories from his Ukrainian counterpart and spending his spare time at the Para-Standing Tennis World Championships (21:30). Got a question for The Sports Agents - email us at thesportsagents@global.com New episodes every Tuesday and Thursday.

Let's venture downunder to meet Adam Hills, a superb standup comedian and television presenter who has charmed Australians since the late 1980s with comedy that is sharp and playful -- and by the way, that often focuses on the fact that since birth he has been missing a foot. After starting as a radio host, Hills turned to standup and was a smash in Australia, the UK, and Canada. He became host of a popular Aussie game show in 20005, followed by a talk show. At the same time, Adam has become a star in the world of Paralympic sports both as a player (rugby) and a commentator. His sports journey has been covered in a fine documentary (Adam Hills: Take His Legs) and a memoir (Best Foot Forward). As always, find extra cuts below and thanks for sharing our shows! Want more Adam Hills? Adam is a titan in the world of Paralympic sports as a participant (rugby), commentator, and advocate. Adam Hills is a seriously funny man, and most well known as host of Channel 4's hugely successful The Last Leg on Friday nights. Born in Sydney without a right foot, he turned his disability to his advantage and often referred to it in his comedy. His first stand up show was in 1997, and he became a hit at the Melbourne International comedy festival and the Edinburgh Fringe. Some alternative commentating on the 2012 London Summer Paralympics led to Channel 4 giving him his own series, which has now broadcast its 300th episode. “For me it's just like, I know who I am off stage, I know how we're perceived within our communities - and I'm proud and I want to make fun of that and talk about the things that I find funny. And that won't always make people comfortable, but that's not my job” – Alexandra Hudson. In a special collaboration with Melbourne International Comedy Festival, exciting contemporary comedians Alexandra Hudson, Oliver Hunter and Lara Ricote (Mexico) joined host Adam Hills for an insightful panel exploring the realities of working in comedy as people with disability. Nick and Angela are joined by Aussie comedian and BBQ King, Adam Hills, MBE. Adam Hills began performing comedy at 19, toured ten solo shows internationally and presented several TV shows in Australia before he made the move to the UK. In 2012, he was asked to front The Last Leg with Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe, a show created to run alongside the London Paralympics coverage on Channel 4. The programme was such a hit with viewers that it quickly became a permanent fixture. Adam is a real foodie and recently opened a restaurant with former Nobu head chef, Scott Hallsworth; Freak Scene is a ‘Pan-Asian punk' eatery in Parsons Green. Angela prepares some sticky pork ribs for our guest (which he adores) and a tasty spicy cabbage salad. As Adam has taken a break from the booze, Nick prepares an alcohol-free cocktail, a Cucumber Collins. Should you wish to pair this meal with a wine, Waitrose recommends Dr Loosen Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett. In conversation, Adam shares why he can't say no to Russell Crowe, the challenges of presenting a live TV show from his garage in Sydney and his new kids book Murder at the Movies, which is out now. Just so you know, our podcast might contain the occasional mild swear word or adult theme.
