Our audio programmes give all supporters, but particularly those who are blind or partially-sighted, the opportunity to enjoy the best of our matchday programmes. In this special double edition, for our Sky Bet Championship matches against Derby County, on Saturday 11th April, and Blackburn Rovers, on Tuesday 14th April 2026, skipper Jack Stephens tackles our A-Z of Football feature, while we also have the thoughts of head coach Tonda Eckert, the latest from our Women's team and a look at our opponents.
Saints are back in the play-off places — and they got there in style. In this special midweek episode of the Total Saints Podcast, Martin is joined by Steve Grant, Glen de la Cour and Alfie House to relive Southampton's brilliant 5–1 win away at Wrexham, a result that felt like one of the biggest statements of the season so far. The panel look at the fast start, the quality of the attacking play, the strength in depth now available to Tonda, and why this performance suggested Saints may be hitting top form at exactly the right moment. There's plenty of praise for standout displays across the side, with Finn Azaz, Matsuki, Flynn Downs and Cyle Larin all discussed, while the panel also talk through the frustration over Wrexham's goal, the referee's performance, and just how impressive Saints were physically and mentally so soon after the Arsenal game. With five goals, five scorers and a ruthless edge throughout, it was a night that has naturally raised fresh talk of how high this team could still finish. The pod then turns to Saturday's home clash with Derby County, another huge game in the race for the top six. The team assess Derby's threats, their absentees, whether Saints can start to build some real daylight, and why the focus and confidence inside this Southampton side now feels so different. There's also a mention of the return of the pubcast after the Derby game at The Guide Dog, plus a thank you to everyone who has helped the team smash their Saints Foundation fundraising target for this year's Benali on Tour. On this week's episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, the lads are joined by Fulham's in-form winger and Welsh international Harry Wilson — and there are some unbelievable stories behind his rise.Harry opens up about the incredible moment his grandad placed a £50 bet on him to play for Wales when he was just 18 months old — a punt that eventually paid out £125,000 when Harry made his debut years later. It's a story so good it genuinely sounds like a film. The conversation also dives into Harry's journey through Liverpool's academy, signing his first contract at just nine years old, and learning from elite players like James Milner, Adam Lallana, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino in Jurgen Klopp's first-team training sessions.Harry explains the reality of the loan system in football, including the tough spell that nearly derailed his career before a confidence rebuild back at Liverpool helped turn things around. There are also brilliant insights into the Wales national team, including what it was like playing alongside Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, the electric atmosphere of the Welsh anthem, how Craig Bellamy's strict standards are shaping the new generation, and Harry reveals his personal favourite goal ever — a stunning free kick at Old Trafford for Derby County. On top of that, there are of course some classic Crouch pod shenanigans, such as Sid's surreal story about drinking Bollinger with Brazilian Ronaldo on a ski trip, debating the correct size of shin pads, and Crouchy settles the confusion around a recently surfaced video of him and Messi's 1v1 in Croydon…Chumbawamba00:00 - Subscribe song & Intro01:21 - The “wrong glass for drinks” debate03:30 - Sid's ski trip and meeting Brazilian Ronaldo06:20 - Asking Ronaldo what phone network he's on08:45 - Ski trip stories continue10:48 - Harry Wilson joins the podcast11:30 - Harry's incredible season at Fulham12:50 - Palace or Spurs goal – his favourite this season13:45 - Listening to the podcast & life with a newborn14:40 - Shin pad debate: modern footballers wear tiny ones18:05 - Signing for Liverpool at just 9 years old20:10 - Growing up in rural Wales21:45 - The call from Ian Rush22:50 - Wales debut at 16 years old23:50 - The famous £50 bet from his grandad26:30 - Passion & playing for your country 28:30 - Michael Sheen's team speech31:10 - The harsh reality of loan spells in football33:00 - Injury setbacks and rebuilding confidence33:50 - Training with Klopp's Liverpool first team36:40 - Best player in Liverpool training?38:20 - England's chances at the World Cup40:00 - Craig Bellamy's strict standards with Wales42:10 - Bellamy's dressing room rules44:40 - What players do on Wales international camps46:05 - Marco Silva's impact at Fulham47:55 - Harry reveals which phone network he uses49:20 - Favourite goal ever: free kick at Old Trafford51:00 - Set-piece tactics in modern football55:00 - Listener questions & football stories01:03:19 - Harry Wilson leaves the podcast01:04:20 - Paddy Power's Cheltenham segment01:07:00 - Score predictions begin01:10:30 - Spurs' struggles discussed01:16:10 -Crouchy and Messi in Croydon?01:17:00 - OutroFor more Peter Crouch: Twitter - https://twitter.com/petercrouch Therapy Crouch - https://www.youtube.com/@thetherapycrouch For more Chris Stark Twitter - https://twitter.com/Chris_StarkInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/chrisstark/For more Steve Sidwell Twitter - https://twitter.com/sjsidwell Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/stevesidwell14 #PeterCrouch #ThatPeterCrouchPodcast Hosted on Acast. Millwall make it four wins on the spin as Josh Coburn's header sinks Derby County at The Den — but the mood is mixed. We break down a hard-fought 1-0 win, question whether the Lions are genuine promotion contenders, and ask the big question: can Millwall go all the way? Then we turn to the FA's £45,000 fine for Rule E21 — disability-related chanting in the Carabao Cup. We ask whether it's right to hold a club responsible for the actions of individual fans, and whether the system is fundamentally unfair. Stats, talking points, and no-holds-barred analysis. Cheltenham Town's free-scoring midfielder Issac Hutchinson is actually a Bristol Rovers player. He's on loan at Cheltenham and travels up the M5 for training. But at 25 this is the 7th club he's played for as a professional footballer. In fact, Bristol took recalled him in January only to allow him to return to Cheltenham at the end of the month. Isaac's others clubs thus far: Southend United, Derby County, Forest Green Rovers, Crawley Town and Walsall. Where he's stayed for a while, Hutchinson has done well, but his story is typical of League and League 2 football - constant change and movement. In this conversation we talk about the challenge of a nomadic lifestyle, the lapsed friendships and the commitment required from Isaac's partner who has followed him around the country. We also discuss the skill of gelling quickly with new teammates on and off the pitch.Isaac was a big fan of Chelsea's all-time leading scorer Frank Lampard growing up and we talk about the importance of repetitive practice to hone those runs and finishes from midfield. I enjoyed this. I hope you do too. Being a pro player sounds very glamorous. But I have huge admiration for these guys' abilities to adapt to new environments amid such flux.
Welcome back to Voices of the Vic! Ben Aiton is joined by Joe Thomas to break down Watford's impressive 2–0 victory over Derby County, a performance full of intent, energy and belief. It was Ed Still's first win as Watford head coach, and it felt significant. The Hornets struck inside five minutes, our quickest goal of the season and never looked back. Solid at the back, dangerous out wide, and aggressive in attack. We discuss: • The impact of Nestory Irankunda on his return • Luca Kjerrumgaard back on the scoresheet • A dominant defensive display from Abankwah & Goglichidze • Stephen Mfuni's outstanding performance at just 18 • Doumbia's energetic cameo and goal • Kayembe's improved display • The atmosphere at Vicarage Road • The referee's controversial decisions • And whether this is the start of a genuine playoff push… Watford now sit 9th, just three points outside the playoffs. Is momentum building under Ed Still? Let us know your Man of the Match in the comments
With 14 games to go and 42 points up for grabs, the run-in is officially here. We're breaking down the remaining fixture list and asking the big question: Do we actually have a chance? In this episode, we look ahead at a pivotal run of games, including tough tests against Portsmouth and Birmingham, followed by crucial matchups with Derby County and Blackburn. We've got the top two on the horizon, and every single point is going to feel like a cup final from here on out. We want to hear from you in the comments: How many points are we realistically taking from the next 42? Are you confident about the home games against the top sides? Should we keep the faith, or is the climb too steep? Stick around for the debate, some "appreciation" for Omar's new look, and our final thoughts on the talisman, Macaulay Langstaff. Adam Hurrey is joined on the Adjudication Panel by Charlie Eccleshare and David Walker. Meanwhile, the panel pick apart the confused, "common sense"-obsessed discourse in the aftermath of Liverpool 1 Manchester City 2. In the 1990s, businessman Ramm Mylavaganam created a new way to analyse football matches, which would change how managers and coaches saw the game forever. Whilst trying to sell some high-end massage chairs to Derby County, he found their assistant manager Steve McClaren watching hours of footage of opponents, trying to gain an advantage. This gave him an idea – filming every minute of a match and then analysing the footage could be something football clubs want to invest in. His idea would revolutionise the way football clubs looked at data, players and opponents. He's been speaking to Tim O'Callaghan. Eye-witness accounts brought to life by archive and testimony. But will they end up being the worst Premier League side we have ever seen?Marcus, David and Jim debate whether they can reach the lofty heights of Derby County's 11 Premier League points. Plus, should we embrace 'ultras' culture in England?
