This is one of the most honest podcast episodes we have had where participants revealed some of their personal and almost too private experiences just to put faces on experiences as persons who were religious in the past. Their stories gives us insight into their current relationships with God and how they navigate that in their human rights beliefs and activism. If you have questions, feel free to send them our way at ask@voiicecommunity.org.

While preaching the sermon on the mount, Jesus gives instruction on how He expects his people to act with compassion, pray, and observe religious ordinances. His point is clear: the motivation of the believer must be to commune with God, not to garner the respect or praise of other people. We can apply these principles well as we come to celebrate the Lord's Table as a church family.Support the show (http://www.maplecitybaptistchurch.com)
We talk about being Spiritual as opposed to be Relgious or Spiritual and Religious, or that we believe in God this way or that. We have changed the name of God to a Higher Being, or The Source or "I know there is something out there", however what are we called today, as people who are simply now awake? Does being awake mean you are now Spiritual? Did you do anything to wake up or did you just find one day you no longer where thinking the way you thought? Why? And then you started searching to find out what happened to you, why you have changed? We are now in a new time and a new age where things like expectations, doing things we do not love, and blindly trusting things we see and hear, are things of the past. What are we now, in this time of history in our evolution? Tune in and Join the Conversation Monday Morning at 5:30 AM, PST.

That Divine Mind, that Great Soul we call God, has given us 3 great gifts that empower us to create any life experience in which we can believe. The first is will. The volition or will power to choose a course of action and hold to it through thick and thin is the basis of our freedom of action as human beings. The second gift is intellect or mind. This is the gift that allows us to adapt, to think, to reason and to triumph over adversity. But the greatest of the 3 and the one that is the hallmark of humanity is imagination.
