Joseph's story in Genesis 40 is a powerful reminder that our circumstances, no matter how painful or unjust, are never the final word. What kept him going was a God-given dream that occupied more of his attention than his problems did. As people of faith, we share a similar anchor. God is not surprised by the pit you are in; the pit is never the end of the story, and His perfect justice will ultimately heal every injustice. The invitation is not to ignore your pain but to refuse to let it consume your entire field of view. The story God has written for those who belong to Him does not end in the pit. It ends in victory.
