The Latinos Out Loud podcast is a hilarious and entertaining show that brings laughter, inspiration, and representation to the Latinx community. With hosts Rachel La Loca, Juan Bago, JFernz, and Frank Nibbs, this podcast creates a platform for all Latinx people to share their stories and experiences. The dynamic between the hosts is infectious and their comedic banter keeps listeners engaged throughout each episode. Additionally, the show features amazing guests from various fields who provide valuable insights and advice. Overall, I highly recommend The Latinos Out Loud podcast for its ability to make you laugh out loud and feel connected to the Latinx community.

One of the best aspects of The Latinos Out Loud podcast is the humor and comedy that permeates every episode. The hosts have great chemistry and their witty banter keeps listeners entertained from start to finish. Whether they're discussing current events or sharing personal anecdotes, their comedic timing never fails to elicit laughs. Moreover, the show's segments like "Frankspiracies" add an extra layer of humor as Frank Nibbs delves into conspiracy theories in his own unique way. This podcast is truly a source of joy and laughter.

However, one potential downside of The Latinos Out Loud podcast is that some jokes or references may only be understood by those familiar with Latino culture or Spanish language slang. While this adds authenticity to the show's content, it may exclude some listeners who are not part of this cultural context. Additionally, there may be times when certain topics or jokes are not relatable to all listeners outside of the Latinx community. Nevertheless, these instances are few and far between in comparison to the overall entertainment value provided by the podcast.

In conclusion, The Latinos Out Loud podcast is a must-listen for anyone looking for laughter, inspiration, and a sense of belonging within the Latinx community. The hosts' humor and chemistry create an enjoyable listening experience while their guests offer valuable insights and perspectives. Despite a few potential limitations, this podcast is a shining example of the power of representation and the ability to create a space where all voices can be heard. I highly recommend giving The Latinos Out Loud podcast a listen - you won't be disappointed!

They chit chat about her projects, as well as motherhood, and the two brave gals bond on a very deep and emotional topic they speak very truthful about. “The Low End Theory” is an official selection of the New York Latino Film Festival, NVISION Latino Film Festival, and GuadaLAjara Film Festival 2024. It won ‘Best Ensemble Cast' at the NVISION Latino Film Festival.   Check out the trailer for The Low End Theory HERE   The neo noir crime thriller follows a traumatized vet turned ‘Raquel Pacheco' (Sofia Yepes)  money launderer who steals from her drug-dealer boss ‘Ulysses' (Eddie Martinez) to pay off debts owed by the beautiful but equally trouble woman ‘Giselle' (Ser Anzoategui) with whom she is having an obsessive affair. The film brings to life representation for Queer people, Latinx artists, and single mothers to the screen.   The film also stars: Rene Rosado (ABC's “The Conners”), Scotty Tovar (“Empire”), J.R. Villarreal (“Landman”) and Sidney Flanigan (award winning Focus Features “Never Rarely Sometimes Always”).   When not creating multi-dimensional projects in Hollywood, Sofia is equally committed to raising up the voices of single mothers and breaking societal norms. What started out as a podcast called ‘As a Mutha' which grew from anger at the unfair expectations of single mothers, has expanded into a community called ‘Sana Sana Single Mama' which now focuses on resources for healing for single mothers coming Summer 2025. Resources will include access to family lawyers, assistance with funds, therapy, retreats, and more. Sofia is also a certified Cacao Ceremony Specialist, engaging ancient Indigenous spiritual and healing practices.   Sofia currently resides in Los Angeles and is a single mother to her seven-year-old son, Phoenix.

Joanna DeLane is Acting OUT LOUD

On this episode of #LatinosOutLoud, @RachelLaLoca chats virtually with powerhouse Latina actress of Indigenous roots, Joanna DeLane. Joanna hit the big screen nationwide on March 28th with Jason Statham and David Harbour in the box office hit, A WORKING MAN.  Joanna will be recurring in the upcoming Netflix medical drama series PULSE, that began on April 3rd. ABOUT THE FILM A WORKING MAN follows Levon Cade (Statham), who left his profession behind to work construction and be a good dad to his daughter. But when a local girl vanishes, he's asked to return to the skills that made him a mythic figure in the shadowy world of counterterrorism. DeLane appears as Joyce Lefferty, the wife of Gunny (Harbour), a longtime military friend and confidant of Levon Cade.   The film marks the second time DeLane has worked with action director David Ayer, explaining “One of my first acting gigs was a background role in the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Sabotage. It was very action-packed, and I remember thinking this was the epitome of an action movie -- intense but fun. When it released in theaters, I got messages from friends and family asking if I was in it. 'Yes?' I answered, unsure of how they'd spotted me. I watched it myself and sure enough, there I was—for a few seconds on the big screen, flashing my famous smile, right before the shooting began. Little did anyone realize, the film was directed by David Ayer, who unknowingly gave me my first silver screen moment. Fast forward several years later and here we are – with David giving me my next one!"   DeLane also jumps into action alongside Willa Fitzgerald and Colin Woodell recurring as ER Nurse Hill on the anticipated Netflix series, PULSE. This high-stakes drama with a side of romance follows the personal and professional lives of the doctors and staff at a busy Miami trauma center. When the hospital goes into lockdown, tensions rise, secrets spill, and the ER staff must juggle saving lives while dealing with their own drama.    “I've always been a fan of medical dramas, so getting to be involved in this new show was an incredible experience. Netflix is on the cusp of another hit, and the cast and crew did an amazing job—I can't wait for everyone to see Pulse,” shares DeLane.   Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, this Hispanic actress and filmmaker of Indigenous roots has been building a solid reputation for her talents in Hollywood. DeLane has proudly appeared in projects that have made significant strides in representation like Hulu's Prey, Marvel's Echo, FX's Mayans M.C., and Paramount's 1883: A Yellowstone Origin Story. Her credits also include Perry Mason, Hacks, NCIS: Hawai'i, Mrs. Davis, I Think You Should Leave, The Terminal List and many others.   Fueled by her deep-rooted passion for addressing the lack of diversity and inclusion in Film and TV, DeLane expanded her career behind the scenes as a Producer. She produced the 2024 Telly Award Gold Winner for Best Music Video for Shania Twain's ‘Giddy Up', and the “Muhammad Ali” Diljit Featuring NLE Choppa music video which is currently nominated for Best International Music Video from the 2025 Hollywood Music Video Awards. Her production credits include working with numerous musical mega-stars, including Melissa Etheridge, Bush, and Paul Anka. As a creative entrepreneur, DeLane co-founded the female filmmaking community Ladies Above the Line and started the branding and marketing company Materials Makeover, sharing with other actors the practical knowledge she has gained from working in various roles across the industry.   As mentioned on the episode, check out Esposas Militares a non-profit for Latina military wives nationwide! The two chat about the inspiration behind the beautifully shot, Old Hollywood-style comedy series; the little known 1931 Spanish language version of Dracula! Rachel also brings Eugenio back to his childhood, growing up on similar sets with his mother, iconic actress, Silvia Derbez. Inspired by true events, the hilarious comedy tells the behind-the-scenes story of how a group of Latinos created the ultimate Dracula film, one that few have seen: the Spanish-language version of the classic 1931 film. While Bela Lugosi filmed by day, another cast and crew arrived at night to produce the Spanish-language film, using the same set, costumes and a translated script. Working from dusk till dawn, they created, against all odds, a version superior to the original. The cast includes Diana Bovio, Laura Ferreti, Manuel “El Flaco” Ibañez, Daniel Sosa, John Goodrich, Federico Espejo, Daniel Raymond, Gerardo Velazquez and Fernando Memije. The series was created and written by Rob Greenberg and Bob Fisher (“The Valet” and “Overboard”). Ben Odell, Eugenio Derbez and Javier Williams are the executive producers on behalf of 3Pas Studios.
