The weekly Albion podcast brought to you from the Express & Star.
The Baggies Broadcast podcast is an absolute gem for any West Bromwich Albion fan, regardless of where they are in the world. As someone who didn't grow up following English football and has never visited the UK, this podcast provides me with the perfect combination of game analysis and West Midlands anecdotes, thanks to the dashing lives of two newspaper reporters, Jonny and Joe. It's exciting to be able to get a small dose of what it means to follow the Albion and stay connected with fellow Baggies around the globe.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the great insight provided by Jonny and Joe. Being reporters who cover the team, they have insider knowledge that adds depth to their analysis and discussion. They offer valuable insights into player performances, tactics, and club news that you wouldn't easily find elsewhere. Additionally, their banter is absolutely entertaining and adds a light-hearted touch to each episode. The fact that they also dedicate a portion of each show to listener questions further engages fans and makes it feel like a community.
While it's hard to find any major faults with The Baggies Broadcast podcast, one possible drawback could be its focus solely on West Bromwich Albion. This may limit its appeal to only Baggies fans or those interested in English football in general. However, given that this is a podcast catered specifically towards Albion supporters, it doesn't detract significantly from its overall quality.
In conclusion, The Baggies Broadcast podcast is a wonderful witty podcast that keeps fans connected all over the world. With insightful analysis from two experienced journalists and their engaging banter, it's an hour well-spent each week for any Baggies fan. Whether you're cheering or bemoaning together, this podcast provides an excellent platform for staying updated on all things West Bromwich Albion.
