Welcome to Glenn Robison's Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can't not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and '30s. Do you know who this lovely lady is? Her name is Kristi Turner. She’s not a composer, lyricist or musician, so why is she featured in the playlist of this week’s Rapidly Rotating Records? Kristi is the co-founder, along with her husband Ross, of Guided Discoveries, where I had the pleasure of working for more than a quarter century. Ross passed away unexpectedly last October and I dedicated a segment of the November 2 show to him. Kristi passed away just two months later and today, February 15, her family, friends and co-workers are gathering for a celebration of her life. In the first segment of this week’s show, you’ll hear little bit about Kristi and a number of records about a couple of her interests, dude ranches and horses. In other segments, Jimmy Durante gets a birthday segment and we’ll hear from Fred Spinelly. In the third segment, we’ll have our cake and listen to it, too! There's lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era. Just click the link above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience. THANKS FOR LISTENING! ENJOY THE SHOW! There’s an old saying you’ve probably heard before: Those who can’t do, teach. Well, that’s total BS. If you’ve ever tried to teach someone anything — how to play a guitar chord, how to dance a two-step, how to do just about anything — you know that saying has it exactly backwards. Teaching is hard. Being good at something and being able to teach it are two completely different skills. When it comes to traditional crafts, teaching is maybe the more vital skillset. If we’re going to preserve what we do for generations to come, we need folks skilled at passing it on. Sometimes, when there’s no one around to turn to, you need to be an autodidact, like Garret Rosen, owner of Rosen Guitars. Garret is a Lafayette native whose path to guitar building and teaching took a few interesting turns — including degrees in English literature, music theory, and a master’s from Oxford University in philosophy, politics and economics. After years teaching history, Garret opened Rosen Guitars in 2025 — a shop where every instrument is handmade by him. The business combines custom guitar building, original inventory, and lessons for players from beginners to professionals. His goal isn’t to be a big-box music store. It’s something much more personal — the person who builds the instrument is the one who teaches you how to play it. Harold Bernard is the owner of Glide Dance Studios in downtown Lafayette. Harold has been teaching dance since 1985, but his relationship with dance goes back even further: his mother was dancing the jitterbug while pregnant with him. He grew up in the golden era of Cajun dance halls, later touring across the U.S. and Canada teaching dance alongside bands like Balfa Toujours and Steve Riley. Today, at Glide Studios, Harold teaches Cajun, Zydeco, jitterbug, waltz — and even wedding choreography. He teaches almost every night of the week, often working with couples or small groups, and relies almost entirely on word of mouth. Out to Lunch is recorded live over lunch at Tsunami Sushi in downtown Lafayette. You can find photos from this show by Alisha Zachery Lazard at itsacadiana.com.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today we are rehashing Younger Season 4, Episode 2: "Gettin' Hygge With It." Join us as we discuss Josh and Kelsey bonding as roommates, Diana hosting a Hygge inspired party at her apartment, and so much more!
This week's episode kicks off talking with how Christmas presents went over with presents for the kids. Rheannon's oldest daughter did not love the unicorn that she got. It kept her awake one night and that girl does not have room for a toy that ruins her sleep. Tamara had a very relaxing Christmas and New Years. Rheannon had some helpers getting skies ready for the first ski of the season. Helping her nieces and nephew be the next generation to love a fresh wax. In a slow and unexciting fashion Tamara has won the Fantasy Football League. Rheannon is now committed to making a trophy for the winners. Tamara had fun setting some intentions for the New Year, and Rheannon has some administrative tips to help her be successful. The episode wraps up with a deep dive in the TV show Pluribus. Spoilers ensues and listen to all the rabbit holes and predictions.

The Tech talk to have with family over the holidays. We dive into why tracking passwords and setting up two-step authentication safely is a must—especially for seniors and elderly users. Plus we have hunting news of a rare pheasant. Join radio hosts Rebecca Wanner aka ‘BEC' and Jeff ‘Tigger' Erhardt (Tigger & BEC) with the latest in Outdoors & Western Lifestyle News! Rare White Pheasant Harvested in North Dakota According to KFYR TV, a Minot, North Dakota hunter harvested a rare white Pheasant south of the city on December 7, 2025. 37-year-old Eric Henke of Minot first saw the bird a few years ago on his family farm. A couple weeks ago, he and six others, plus four dogs, went out for a pheasant hunt. The group flushed the bird, and it flew into some brush. It was flushed again about 10 yards from Henke. With a pull of the trigger from his Benelli Super Black Eagle II 12 gauge, the bird dropped and ran, thankful to have one of the dogs retrieve it for him. Henke is now having the bird mounted by Dakota Taxidermy in Bismarck, North Dakota. In addition to being a rare white pheasant, it also had magnificent tail feathers that measured to about 22.5 inches long. Congrats Eric Henke! The Importance of Tracking Passwords and Two-Step Authentication for Seniors and Families Why Password Management Is More Important Than Ever In today's digital world, almost every essential service requires a password—banking, medical portals, email, social security accounts, utilities, and even prescription refills. For elderly and older adults, managing multiple passwords can quickly become overwhelming. Forgotten passwords, locked accounts, and inaccessible phones can lead to stress, financial risk, and complete loss of access to critical services. Common Problems Seniors Face: Forgotten passwords or PINs Locked accounts due to failed login attempts Smartphones breaking, updating, or resetting Two-step authentication codes sent to unavailable devices Difficulty remembering complex security rules Without a proper system in place, a simple phone update can become a major crisis. What Is Two-Step Authentication (2FA) — and Why It Can Be Risky Without Backup Two-step authentication (also called 2FA or multi-factor authentication) adds an extra layer of security by requiring: Something you know (password) Something you have (phone, text message, authentication app) While 2FA improves security, it can lock users out permanently if: The phone is lost or broken The phone number changes The device updates or resets The authentication app is deleted This is especially dangerous for seniors who rely on one single smartphone. How to Set Up Two-Step Authentication the Right Way (Senior-Friendly) To avoid lockouts, seniors and families should always set up backup access options. Best Practices: Save backup recovery codes on paper and digitally Add a trusted family member's email or phone number Use authentication apps that allow device recovery Avoid using only SMS codes when possible Tip: Print recovery codes and store them in a safe, labeled folder at home. Final Checklist for Seniors and Caregivers Track all passwords in one secure place Set up 2FA with backup recovery options Share access with trusted family members Store printed recovery information safely Review passwords yearly or after major updates Final Thought - A broken phone or forgotten password should never mean losing access to your life. Your 401 might look fine at a glance, but the details can quietly reshape your risk and returns. We dig into how to read what you actually own, why two target date funds with the same year can behave very differently, and the real cost of fees that compound against you. From checking equity exposure to comparing expense ratios, we share practical ways to tighten your plan without adding complexity. We walk through diversification that goes beyond the S&P 500, including international and bonds that can cushion shocks and capture leadership shifts. You'll hear why a once-a-year rebalance helps keep risk steady, how to spot duplicate funds that do the same job, and when index options can deliver similar exposure at a fraction of the cost. If you use model portfolios, we explain the difference between fee-based managed options and no-additional-cost models, plus the gotcha that can reset your choices during the next scheduled rebalance. Most importantly, we break down the “two-step tango” for fixing allocations: change both your future contributions and your existing balance so your risk level matches your plan today. That single move prevents drift, aligns your portfolio with your goals, and makes every paycheck work harder. Before you log out, consider a small bump to your contribution rate to harness compounding and employer matches. If this helped clarify your 401, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs a checkup, and leave a quick review so others can find it. There's No Timeline to Healing | A Rambling SessionHealing isn't linear. Some days you're thriving, other days you're side-eyeing your own progress wondering how you got back here. In this rambling session, I talk about why healing has no deadline, no pace, and definitely no straight line. We get into the stop-starting, the backtracking, the small wins that don't look impressive on paper, and why momentum matters more than perfection. This is your reminder that healing is a dance, not a race. You don't have to move fast. Just don't stop moving. If you've been beating yourself up for “falling back,” this one's for you.

In this eye-opening episode, host Dr Bradley Block chats with Doug Noll, as he explains "affect labeling": simply reflecting emotions ("You're frustrated, worried, scared") to downshift the brain's limbic system and reactivate executive function. Backed by UCLA studies, this tool builds instant trust, makes visits efficient, and works on anyone, from ER patients to grocery clerks. Learn the 3-step process: ignore words for 90 seconds, read emotions innately, and reflect without "I understand." Doug shares role-plays, practice tips like labeling TV ads or silent shows, and why this flips arguments by meeting the universal need to be heard. Perfect for physicians facing high-stakes emotions, this episode equips you to listen people "into existence" for calmer, more connected care.Three Actionable Takeaways:Master Affect Labeling Basics: Ignore words for 90 seconds, read emotions instinctively (we're hardwired for it), and reflect with "You" statements like "You're frustrated, scared, confused." This downshifts the limbic system, calms patients fast, and builds trust by showing deep understanding without saying "I get it."Practice Everywhere for Real-World Skill: Label emotions in ads, silent TV scenes, or checkout chats to hone listening without words. Start with strangers ("You're excited your shift's ending?") to see shoulders drop and rapport build, proving it works beyond medicine, even in prisons or arguments.Flip Tension into Connection: In visits, label all fears upfront (pain, failure as parents) to deregulate emotions, then hype positively ("You're loving, doing everything right"). This meets the unmet need to be heard, ends escalations, and makes encounters efficient, enjoyable, and loyalty-building.About the Show:Succeed In Medicine covers patient interactions, burnout, career growth, personal finance, and more. If you're tired of dull medical lectures, tune in for real-world lessons we should have learned in med school!About the Guest:Doug Noll is a former civil trial lawyer turned award-winning mediator and peacemaker. He left a successful legal career to focus on resolving deep conflict and teaching de-escalation skills that actually work even in maximum-security prisons. Co-founder of the Prison of Peace Project, Doug has trained incarcerated individuals to become certified mediators, proving his methods succeed in the toughest environments. He is the author of the bestselling book De-Escalate: How to Calm an Angry Person in 90 Seconds or Less, which teaches a neuroscience-backed technique called affect labeling (reflecting emotions to instantly calm the brain), and offers the Advanced Emotional Competency online course.Website: dougnoll.comEmail: doug@dougnoll.comBook on Amazon : De-EscalateAbout the Host:Dr. Bradley Block – Dr. Bradley Block is a board-certified otolaryngologist at ENT and Allergy Associates in Garden City, NY. The Seahawks traveled down to Tennessee and came away with the victory in a get right game for the offense. The defense inexplicably kept the game close but the Hawks prevailed. Coach Red and Cain are joined by Scott to breakdown the game and give out their players of the game. Scott also takes us on a trip down memory lane to give perspective on what it was like watching the great Kenny Easley and how he helped change the safety position in the NFL. In this episode of the Agency Rocket Show, Liz and Chelsea explain the phase where websites finally start taking shape: before the visuals, before the colors, before anyone gets distracted by “Can we make the buttons rounder?” We break down the two-step magic of our process, built from years in the industry: 1. The Interactive Mood Board, where we mine for client taste, gather inspiration across industries, and intentionally include a few designs clients will absolutely hate. 2. The Wireframe Phase, aka the blueprint, skeleton, framework, bones… whatever you want to call it. It's the non-sexy, extremely important step where content, flow, hierarchy, functionality, and UX all lock into place. No colors, no fonts, no flourishes. Just pure structure, clarity, and strategic thinking. We also discuss why this phase prevents project blowups, how it eliminates surprise edits later, and why clients understand their own website better when they can't get distracted by the pretty stuff yet. If you've ever wondered how the pros design websites that feel intentional, aligned, and on the mark, this is the episode for you.

Welcome to the Grace in Focus podcast. Today, Bob Wilkin and Ken Yates are answering a question about the belief by some that acquiring eternal salvation is a two-step process. Believing facts would be step one and trusting personally would be step two. Does the Bible in any way teach this? Why is this taught?

00:00:00 – Cold Open, Clips & Chaos Loose intro, tech hiccups, and a fast pivot into “clips of the week,” featuring a barrage of Alex Jones soundbites (old gravelly vs. current voice), plus a quick, context-free Trump clip to set the show's tone. 00:10:00 – “It's All Happening” & Bankruptcy Theater Speculation that sheriff's deputies could seize Alex Jones/Infowars gear “as early as tomorrow,” with riffs on the supposed value of studio computers and Jones' knack for rebooting operations overnight. 00:20:00 – Area 51 Double-Header: Gunfire & a “Mysterious Aircraft” Two back-to-back incidents near Area 51/Creech/Nellis spark theories: contamination and an escape attempt, witness suppression by “making him look erratic,” or a PSYOP stress test to coordinate base responses. Hosts play a local TV hit about a drone/aircraft “incident” and connect dots with humor (and rock-lifting dares at the gate). 00:30:00 – Hollywood vs. Synthetic Stars Debate over an “AI actress” getting agent attention and a producer touting a film “helmed” by a virtual director; SAG-AFTRA pushback; the hosts argue audiences still want human experience—even if cartoons/CG are beloved. They predict an “AI first hit, then bust” cycle. 00:40:00 – Pets: Love, Debt, and Domestic Diplomacy A sobering segment on pet costs (lifetime cat/dog totals), “pet poverty,” and the real logistics of blending a dog-and-cat household; one story has a couple divorcing over warring pets. Personal anecdotes, math-y back-of-the-napkin costs, and hard-won advice. 00:50:00 – What Happens After We Die? (UVA's DOPS) Deep dive into UVA's Division of Perceptual Studies: near-death experience patterns (tunnels, life review, veridical O.R. details under anesthesia), cultural lenses, and lingering unknowns because…consciousness itself remains unsolved. 01:00:00 – Space Rocks, Nukes, and the Wow Signal An asteroid with a small chance of hitting the Moon in 2032 prompts “nuke it?” jokes and movie throwbacks (Deep Impact/Armageddon), while Avi Loeb's musing ties 3I/ATLAS to the 1977 “Wow!” signal—fun, provocative speculation. 01:10:00 – Fat Bear Season & Aisle 9: Bear Animal news palate cleanser: Fat Bear Week hype (why bulking matters before hibernation) and a baby bear wandering into an Arizona grocery store—equal parts cute and chaotic. (Video described; no injuries.) 01:20:00 – Pumpkin Spice Cabal They uncover Starbucks' “Leaf Rakers Society,” a private, all-things-autumn fan group with a tongue-in-cheek “secret handshake,” and riff about seasonal cult vibes, memes, and moderators keeping things squeaky clean. 01:30:00 – Local Roads, Bad Choices Ohio highway anecdotes and viral clips: drivers stopping in live lanes to force last-second exits; ODOT scolding; a reminder to “take the next exit” instead of causing carnage. 01:40:00 – Night-Snack Science: What Not to Eat Before Bed From aged cheeses (tyramine → stress hormones) to salty chips and sugar bombs, they run a late-night food blacklist with comedic “bedtime steak” and cereal confessions—and why those choices sabotage sleep. 01:50:00 – Sleep Killers, Continued More don'ts (donuts, spicy foods, soda, etc.), wrapped in escalating bits about in-bed snacking disasters and derailed diets—plus one last Alex-style rant cameo for good measure. 02:00:00 – Wind-Down & Housekeeping Quick recap, moderation jokes (“in moderation, my guy”), thanks to listeners, site/merch housekeeping, and a sign-off that hints at more weird news next time. “Healing after an affair is possible. It's just really hard work. But so are most things that are really important to us.”I'm sharing my two-step process for healing after an affair.I want you to know that while healing can be incredibly difficult, it's absolutely possible. The first step is what I call “stopping the bleeding.”This is when we focus on addressing the immediate trauma and the deep pain of the betrayal. The second step is all about understanding how the affair happened, what made the marriage vulnerable, and then beginning to rebuild trust.I won't lie, this is hard work, but with the right support and a clear process, you can heal and move forward—whether that means healing your marriage or making the decision to move on.Struggling to decide whether to stay or go in your marriage and you're serious about finding that answer? Book a Truth & Clarity Session with a member of my team. We'll discuss where you are in your marriage and explore if there's a fit for you and I to work together so you can make - and execute - the RIGHT decision for YOU and your marriage.

In this sermon on Ephesians 4:25-32, we explored what it means to live out the radical transformation that comes from following Jesus. Using the metaphor of changing our wardrobe, we considered how putting off the "old self" and putting on the "new self" is not just about stopping bad behaviors, but about becoming something new—people who reflect the character of God. Paul's instructions are practical: don't lie, don't steal, don't gossip, don't let anger fester. But the heart of the message is that the gospel is not about mere behavior modification; it's about a deep, inner change that leads us to truthfulness, generosity, grace-filled speech, and forgiveness. We also looked at the danger of unresolved anger and how it can open the door to spiritual harm, and we ended with an invitation to seek freedom and healing in community.

My guest for this episode of the podcast is Julia Carpenter. This episode started unlike any other I've done. Julia read a passage from a non-published book she calls the Prologue to the Unwritten Memoir. The passage was a launching point for touching on many, many themes. Perhaps the most important was the theme of finding our true nature and purpose in this world. Julia also happens to be the wife of my last podcast guest, Bernie Harberts, and in this conversation, we touched on some of the same stories as Bernie's podcast, but from the angle of the one staying at home. Here's a little more about Julia: Julia Carpenter is the founder of The Two Step Way, twostepway.com. The Two Step Way helps horse owners and caregivers learn how to be with their horses and how to really see them to promote connection, trust and health. Julia is interested in helping animals, particularly horses, heal from trauma and has studied intently with that goal in mind. She grew up on a horse farm in Vermont and has been a licensed riding instructor and trainer working with racehorses, hunter jumpers, polo ponies and field hunters. Julia has had a lifelong friendship and association, researching, training and caring for animals. She loves volunteering to help out animal rescues with her knowledge. She has a private practice helping people and their equines learn and benefit from her Two Step Way. Julia has degrees in wildlife management and environmental policy from Boston University and Tufts and has worked in the wildlife and environmental fields. She is a painter, and her animal paintings have been shown in galleries and shops in the Boston area and western NC. She is the author of one little cookbook called Pet Food: 16 Dessert Recipes to Make You Smile. Julia lives on a small farm in the mountains of western North Carolina with her husband Bernie Harberts, the Long Rider, filmmaker, and author, in addition to two rescue border collies, three mules, a rescue pony and her halflinger. She enjoys riding in the mountains around her farm and on longer rides with Bernie. She blogs about her life with the animals, equine rambling and the Two Step Way at ConsideringAnimals.com. She also blogs about working with horses at her twostepway.com website.

This week, Brandon asks AJ about what seems to be a recurring pattern in salvation, where God reveals Himself and also opens the eyes of those who receive His revelation. Why doesn't God open everyone's eyes? And how is it that people are able to encounter the Truth and still turn away from it?

After 10 years, the filmmaker and author Alex R. Johnson returns to the podcast. Alex R. Johnson is a writer and filmmaker who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. His feature film "Two Step" premiered to critical acclaim at SXSW in 2014 and went on to become a New York Times Critic's Pick. His screenplay "Northeast Kingdom" was selected for the 2016 Black List, and his screenplay "Any Rough Times Are Now Behind You" was selected by the Austin Film Society's Artist Intensive lab where he was mentored by late director Jonathan Demme. He also wrote the screenplay adaptation of Ernest Tidyman's novel, "Big Bucks", for Pascal Pictures/Sony Entertainment. Johnson's family hails from the Andes of Ecuador, where their 100-year-old dairy farm still operates. Fans of Richard Price, Charlie Huston, and Jonathan Lethem will love this coming-of-age New York-centric detective noir debut from esteemed filmmaker and screenwriter Alex R. Johnson. New York City, 1998. New York is changing around Nico Kelly, and he can feel more coming. A private investigator and self-proclaimed photographer, Nico is stuck in a loop of city contracts and self loathing. What little middle class there was is disappearing—long-standing factories are moving out and taking their reliable neighborhood jobs with them, and Mayor Rudy Giuliani's police force has the streets in a stranglehold. Nico spends his days looking for fraudsters while taking photos of municipal employees on disability claims. He spends his nights trying to get rid of the nagging feeling that his day job makes him a professional snitch—traversing dive bars, playing pinball, and fighting through the haze of hungover mornings and blurry evenings.Pushing thirty years old and feeling split between his American and Latin heritage, between youth and adulthood, Nico finds himself at a precipice—who is he and what should he become? When Nico witnesses and records a murder during one of his insurance fraud investigations, bodies start to turn up all around him and he's forced into solving a mystery he didn't ask to solve. Humorous, gritty, and real, Nico's search for what it means to be human takes him through the deepest and darkest parts of New York City.
Bud (John Travolta) is a young man from the country who moves to Houston to work at the local oil refinery and starts to spend a lot of time at the local country and western bar named Gilley's where he meets Sissy (Debra Winger). Over much dancing and drinks, they start to fall in love and eventually get married. Since they are young and impetuous, they start to have problems....and things just get more complicated from there, but can their love prevail? Along the way, there's plenty of great music and dancing as director James Bridges (The China Syndrome) takes us into this unique subculture of two-step dancing and mechanical bull-riding!Host & Editor: Geoff GershonProducer: Marlene GershonSend us a texthttps://livingforthecinema.com/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/Living-for-the-Cinema-Podcast-101167838847578Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/livingforthecinema/Letterboxd:https://letterboxd.com/Living4Cinema/

The U.S. is engaged in a trade war — just not the one many people expected. Yesterday afternoon, President Donald Trump backpedaled on most of the steep tariffs that took effect only hours earlier, pausing them for 90 days to allow time to negotiate potential deals with other nations. One big exception? China, which he announced will now be subject to a 125%. tariff. How did we get here, and what comes next? White House bureau chief Dasha Burns joins Playbook author and managing editor Jack Blanchard to unpack what happened and why. Plus, Speaker Mike Johnson delays the budget vote in the House.
In this episode, Steve Wood explores a biblically grounded approach to parenting through the lens of Galatians and Philemon. Drawing parallels between God's method of guiding His people and raising children, Steve introduces a two-step parenting model: beginning with external rules and boundaries, but ultimately aiming for an internal transformation led by the Holy Spirit. Steve encourages parents to move beyond legalism, and instead foster environments where their children can encounter and be transformed by the Holy Spirit. Whether you're a parent seeking wisdom or simply interested in how Scripture informs family life, this episode offers practical insight and spiritual encouragement. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent calls China's tariff escalation a “big mistake,” adding that he expects the U.S. to be able to reach deals with its trading partners. On the other hand, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul says while he supports President Donald Trump, he does not support tariffs, emphasizing that every trade relationship is mutually beneficial. Plus, Apple is reportedly planning to source more iPhones from India after Trump's China tariffs, and Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke told employees that they'll have to show their jobs can't be done by artificial intelligence before asking for more headcount and resources. Both the women and the men will be representing the Texas Longhorns in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, albeit on two very different paths. The ladies make the tournament as one of the top seeds, hosting the first two rounds in Austin, with a clear shot at the Final Four and beyond. The men will have a longer path, sitting as one of the First Four games of the tournament, needing a win to make the field of 64.
Mystics and prophets have reported receiving visions from the Divine for centuries—”Thus saith the Lord…”—Hildegard of Bingen, Teresa of Avila, Ignatius of Loyola, Catherine of Siena, or Julian of Norwich. The list goes on.But what would you think if you met a seer of visions in the present day? Maybe you have. What about a prophet whose visions came like a movie screen unfurled before him, the images grotesque and vivid, all in the unsuspecting backwoods setting of Lookout Mountain, deep in the south of Tennessee.Would you believe it? Would you believe him? The beauty of fiction allows the reader to join the author in asking: What if?That's exactly what Jamie Quatro has allowed us to do in her newest work of literary fiction, Two-Step Devil. What if an earnest and wildly misunderstood Christian is left alone on Lookout Mountain? What if the receiver of visions makes art that reaches a girl who's stuck in the darkest grip of a fraught world? What if the Devil really did sit in the corner of the kitchen, wearing a cowboy hat, and what if he got to tell his own side of the Biblical story? On today's episode novelist Jamie Quatro joins Macie Bridge to share about her relationship to the theological exploration within her latest novel, Two-Step Devil; her experience of being a Christian and a writer, but not a “Christian Writer”; and how the trinity of main characters in the novel speak to and open up her own deepest concerns about the state of our country and the world we inhabit.Jamie Quatro is the New York Times Notable author of I Want to Show You More, and Fire Sermon. *Two-Step Devil* is her latest work and is the winner of the 2024 Willie Morris Award for Southern Writing, and it's also been named a New York Times Editor's Choice, among other accolades.
