The Manchester Football Social podcast is a fantastic listen for any soccer fan, providing in-depth analysis and discussions about the Premier League. As a new soccer fan from Michigan, I was delighted to find a podcast that breaks down each team without too much bias. The hosts Niall, Joel, and Marley do an excellent job of providing insightful views and opinions on the league while keeping it entertaining and easy to listen to. It feels like being at the pub with your mates, discussing the latest happenings in football.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to provide comprehensive coverage of all things Premier League. Living in Germany, it can be challenging to stay up to date with the latest news and matches. The Manchester Football Social podcast fills that void by providing daily episodes that cover a wide range of topics and keep fans like me informed about what's happening in English soccer. The hosts' insights are always thought-provoking, and they offer different perspectives as fans of various teams, making for engaging discussions.
While the podcast does an excellent job overall, one potential drawback is the occasional bias when reviewing games involving certain teams. As a Liverpool fan, I sometimes wish that United and City fans didn't review our matches due to their inherent bias towards their rival clubs. A more neutral perspective would be appreciated, especially during important games. However, I understand that the podcast aims to cater to fans of all teams in the league, so some bias is inevitable.
In conclusion, The Manchester Football Social podcast is an absolute gem for soccer fans who want daily updates on all things Premier League. The hosts bring their unique insights as passionate supporters while maintaining an entertaining and informative format. As someone living outside of England, this podcast has become my go-to source for staying connected with English football. Thank you, Niall, Joel, and Marley for consistently delivering great content!

It's been a year of joy and turmoil for Crystal Palace. The up of winning the FA Cup, the down of being expelled from the Europa League, the high of Community Shield glory to the low of having their appeal rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. So after finding out they will be in the Europa Conference League next season, is the ruling fair? Are Palace wholly to blame? We tackle a tricky topic on the podcast today, as well as looking at whether star man Ebere Eze has a looming release clause. It's the transfer story that won't go away, even though Newcastle are hoping it will. Alexander Isak has allegedly got his heart set on Liverpool, but is this a more complex saga than it seems on the surface? Newcastle United's summer is set to go from bad to worse as it's emerged over the last 12 hours that Manchester United are in pole position to land Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, as the Geordies' search for a potential Alexander Isak replacement hits another stumbling block. Newcastle have had a turbulent transfer window so far. Whilst the Alexandar Isak conundrum is rattling on, can Eddie Howe's side secure Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig to ease the concerns? On today's FSD, Niall and Marley discuss the mess that is the ongoing dispute between Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and UEFA around next season's Europa League place. Palace won the right to play in the competition through their FA Cup triumph, but part-owner John Textor's involvement with French side Lyon caused a breach of the rules regarding ownership, and Forest have been bumped into the Europa League, with Palace relegated into the Conference League. Is it a fair punishment for Palace to be turfed out of the competition they qualified for fair and square? Or is it a case of rules being rules and followed to the last detail? Evangelos Marinakis avoided a similar situation by putting his ownership of Forest into a 'blind trust' in order to comply with UEFA's rules, which seems like a convenient outcome. The lads go through the ins and outs of a sticky situation on today's podcast! If the title of today's podcast sounds like a novel, then you've probably also been wrapped up in the big transfer narratives this summer. Nottingham Forest owner 'Mr Marinakis' has secure Morgan Gibbs-White to a new record deal amidst suggestions of a Spurs switch, but something was jarring about how it all unfolded. At least his future is sorted, though, something which can't be said for Alexander Isak. Does he start the season as a Newcastle player? With plenty of transfer activity already happening across the Premier League this summer, why have Tottenham - who have made just one signing in West Ham's Mohammed Kudus - not brought in more players to support new boss Thomas Frank? However, all the attention is on the US President Donald Trump and his awkward lingering, Michael Buffer turning up to the wrong sport, half-time interview nonsense and Robbie Williams confusing a largely American crowd. Elsewhere, Chelsea are wheeling and dealing agains, with Jamie Gittens in and Noni Madueke on his way out. For the first time in their 119-year existence, Crystal Palace can call themselves FA Cup winners after a 1-0 win over Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday. The Eagles were inspired by a heroic Dean Henderson performance after Eberechi Eze's goal gave them something to hang on to in the first half, and Man City couldn't break down the Palace door despite their efforts. Elsewhere, Goodison Park hosted its final game before Everton move to "Hill Dickinson Stadium" - something that irked Niall in today's Get In The Sea nominations. The Toffees eased past miserable Southampton to mark the occasion with three points on a day where 100 former players were invited to say their goodbyes. Also over the weekend there was ups and downs in the race for the European places. Arsenal secured second while simultaneously making Newcastle's fate go down to the final day, Aston Villa and Forest earned vital points too, but Brentford threw away a lead to lose to Fulham in a local derby, all but ending their hopes of a Conference League place. Crystal Palace take on Manchester City on Saturday in arguably the biggest game in their history.
