International break Special! In this week’s episode of the Podcast FC Show Snacks, Al, Huss, and Tum are joined by a very special guest and personal friend of the show Adam “Chip” Hamilton comes on to talk International Break footy with the guys. The boys discuss the injury ravaged international break Liverpool have been going through losing the last two starters of their backline Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson to injuries during the international break which begs the question of what Jurgen Klopp is going to do about his backline for the foreseeable future. This spirals into a conversation of International Football and how necessary it is to play Friendlies during these breaks due to all the injuries on top of the pandemic with Coronavirus going on. The fellas move on to a deeper look into the United States Men's National Team, a team that Chip supports heavily and discuss the squad as they are now and the transition of being mainly MLS players to American players going to foreign soil to ply their trade including passionate points from Huss and Tum about the American academy system. The men finish off with a look at the Premier League table and predict who will win the Premier League and discuss the recent quote Paul Pogba made about his club and why he prefers playing for France and truly how good Pogba is as a player. Matchday 8 Review! In this week’s episode on PFC the fellas start with the biggest fixture of the weekend Manchester City v Liverpool where the result ended 1-1 with the biggest talking point being whether or not it was the right decision to re-instill Huss’ favorite player Roberto Firmino back into the lineup. We move back to Merseyside to discuss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United take home all 3 points against Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton in a 3-1 win on the back of much scrutiny following the recent form from the Red Devils. The guys transition to the thrashing Aston Villa handed Arsenal in a 3-0 win and question what was going on in Mikel Arteta’s head once again after a lackluster performance from the Gunners. Moving to a positive note the boys discuss Frank Lampard finding a bit of consistency as Ziyech and the blues come back with a confident performance after going 1 down against a struggling Sheffield United and take the win 4-1. To Snacks’ dismay Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur take away 3 points late on against another struggling promoted team in West Bromwich Albion as Harry Kane scores a late goal to walk away with the 1-0 win. The boys close off with some quick touch including Leicester v Wolves, Crystal Palace v Leeds, Brighton v Burnley, Southampton v Newcastle, and West Ham v Fulham.
