Norwich City fell to a fifth defeat in seven Championship matches as they were embarrassed by Portsmouth at Carrow Road on Good Friday. A week of disappointing results and inconsistent performances for Norwich City have prompted questions and fewer answers as their Championship season limps to a conclusion. It was pretty, but it was effective for Norwich City as they beat West Brom 1-0 at Carrow Road. Former Norwich City defender Marc Tierney enjoyed two memorable years at Carrow Road, playing a role in promotion to the Premier League in 2011. Frustration was the overriding emotion again as Norwich City let another opportunity to make up ground on their play-off rivals slip through their fingers with a draw against Oxford United. A draw snatched from the jaws of victory for Norwich City at Ewood Park as a late sting from Andi Weimann prevented a major victory in their chase for the Championship play-offs. Norwich City responded to a disappointing few games with a comprehensive 4-2 victory over Stoke at Carrow Road. A stalemate against Hull is the latest in a disappointing week for Norwich City - but is your glass half full or empty? Josh Sargent's equaliser, helped by a squirrel, means Norwich have taken just two points from a possible nine against sides who are 15th or below. That has posed questions about their progress. After a tidal wave of optimism, Norwich City were off-colour and unable to continue their positive momentum with another victory against Derby. An away win, celebratory fist pumps from Johannes Hoff Thorup and an angry opposition head coach - this was a trip to Watford that will live long in the memory for Norwich City. Josh Sargent is back and scored two crucial goals as Norwich City thumped Swansea 5-1 at Carrow Road.
