He currently teaches at two medical schools in the US. Told with humour and empathy 'Training in Charity' captures what it meant to begin a life in medicine before computers and technology softened the edges - a time when skill was learnt by doing, compassion was earned at the bedside, and the making of a doctor was as raw and real as the city that held him. Allen's novel is set in the gritty heart of 1970s New Orleans. Patrick Hardy is qualified as a lawyer in England. Hong Kong and Guernsey. He also holds a personal trainer certification. His debut novel 'A Death in the Gym' is a gripping murder mystery that sees a personal trainer and part-time investigator wrapped up in a case that stirs up old memories....Rebecca Pells embraced her creative passions following careers in banking and the charitable sector. As a full-time artist, her work is collected across the globe. Her debut novel 'Absent Lives' is an exploration of memory, loss, and the quiet power of untold stories. It's inspired by true Lusitania family history. Linda Hartley studied dance and creative writing and then trained as a somatic movement therapist and psychotherapist. 'Angel Wing' is the follow-up to 'Broken Line', which together tell the story of three generations of women in one family covering the themes of love, loss, guilt, trauma and betrayal. It's a beautifully written evacuee tale about a vulnerable girl without parents, guidance or safety in a world torn apart by war. Elana Sabharwal is a Goldsmith's graduate with a master's degree in Screenwriting. With a global background spanning Italy, India and South Africa, Elana brings a unique perspective to her writing. Her novel 'Of Rice, Love and War' is set against the turmoil of the Vietnam War, where the line between loyalty and betrayal is blurred.
