Whether it's the workplace, our kid's school, our own school, the gym, or our local coffee shop, we all spend time in public places. And in those public places, we interact with people from different walks of life. What if instead of viewing these spaces as just part of our routines, we saw them as opportunities to share our faith? On this episode of The Link, Pastor Chris sits down with Indiana Senator John Crane to talk about ways to share our faith in the spaces we live in daily. We live in a pluralistic society with new types of spirituality, without doctrine or core beliefs. When Paul reached Athens, he was a fearless witness for Christ in a pagan culture. In this message, Pastor Lutzer analyzes Paul's two-pronged strategy in speaking with Greek philosophers. The Gospel unveiled the one true God to a city full of idols. QA Session @ St. Peter The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Church - Orlando, FL ~ July 10, 2022
After speaking of the importance and necessity of intercessory prayer to God on behalf of people, Dr. Mitchell will go on to present the need for the Christian to witness for the savior. He emphasizes the theme of our witness as being the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. He must be our life and the center of our testimony for Him. Our need to walk in the Spirit is stated in Galatians 5:15. Dr. Mitchell presents walking in the Spirit in contrast to the deeds of the flesh. He states that, “Christianity means the end of all self effort.” The Spirit of God living in the Christian means an end to one's self effort. Let's open our Bible to Galatian 5:16 where Dr. Mitchell will presents our need to walk in the Spirit. This is the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast. Would you pray for us? We need your support in these days. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your earnest consideration! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unchanging-word/message

Deuteronomy - a guide through the wilderness (Fowey Fellowship)
You will notice as we go through Deuteronomy once again you will notice that usually each CD will commence with a news item upon which some comment is made. Some of these will appear to be dated. However, we have taken the decision to leave these in rather than omitting them. In most cases it will show how public opinion has moved on, usually for the worst!
There is nothing like hearing a personal testimony of how a Christian came to faith in the Lord Jesus. It does good to the heart of believers as well as to seeking sinners anxious to know their sins forgiven. Yes, becoming a Christian involves a very personal encounter with Christ Himself – through the Word of God. In today’s message, evangelist Gaius Goff tells the story of how he got saved – of God’s dealings with him throughout his lifetime until the day of his salvation in his teenage years.
Deacon Jan explores what it means to be a witness for Christ.
Teacher: Dan Gallagher Most Christians understand that Jesus directed his followers to be witnesses for him; yet the reality is that the majority of the Body of Christ is not actively spreading the Good News. In this teaching, Dan Gallagher examines the problems that keep most Christians from witnessing, and provides practical solutions that will help many to become more comfortable and effective in engaging others. We believe you will be inspired and encouraged by this teaching to be the ambassador Christ has called you to be.
March 15, 2015 Fourth Sunday of Lent Living In Christ Campaign Witnessing For Christ Synopsis: Today in worship Emily Hickman and Marie Morgan share their witness of Christ in their lives. This is our fourth Sunday to draw our worship theme from the lessons in the Living In Christ booklet published by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. This final lesson is titled “Witnessing For Christ.” Witnessing for Christ is God’s plan for believers and serves as an invitation to those who would be born again. On the believers side their witness for Christ is not so much a matter of words as it is a way of life. A believer’s words will never be able to carry the weight of conversion the way the witness of their lives do. Christianity was never intended by Christ to be a way of thinking or a way of talking. People of the Way of Jesus Christ are called to live in such a way that their lives serve as a witness to the presence of Christ in them. It is God’s way. Unbelievers are born into the kingdom of God when they come God’s way. They do not get to choose the way nor the time. They must respond to the Spirit of God drawing them to God’s self. The first step of faith is to believe in Jesus Christ. That is the first step onto the path that Jesus Christ has blazed for them. The path ends in heaven. Salvation is a work of God’s grace through the power of the Holy Spirit extended to whoever will trust in Christ Jesus. Scripture Text (NIV): Memory Verses Acts 1:8; Matthew 4:19;
