In other unpleasant news, the FBI raided Eric Swalwell's home and took his phone and computer as part of an investigation into his relationship with suspected Chinese spy Christine Fang, because some people really do make it too easy. The USS Abraham Lincoln was finally relieved of its nine-month deployment and is heading back to San Diego — a direct result of its crew publicly threatening to take their own lives. The publisher of Stars and Stripes announced his retirement citing "fundamental differences" with Hegseth's Pentagon, one week after the publication broke the Abraham Lincoln story, so do what you will with that information. Meanwhile, North Korea fired ballistic missiles hours after Kim Jong Un's sister dismissed Trump's requests for a diplomatic meeting and denied they'd even been in contact, which is a remarkable response to throwing South Korea under the bus for nothing. Russia flew a naval drone into Romanian airspace, which Romanian jets destroyed, and the EU Commission president called it hybrid warfare without naming Russia, which is the diplomatic equivalent of a strongly worded letter. And Trump is fighting to build a ballroom at his golf course in the Irish village of Doonbeg, where his only obstacle is a local hermit with no phone or social media who has blocked thousands of development projects across Ireland purely for sport. Also, to serve in Congress is an immense honor, but then you have pigs like Eric Swalwell and Matt "No Pants" Gaetz who get elected. Then we have Jon Ossoff, running for reelection to the Senate, who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but trashes capitalism. He went after Trump over Iran and called assistant Natalie Harp and other aides "security blankets." Ossoff called his opponent Mike Collins and his supporters "White nationalists." Where was Jon when Joe Biden was curled up under the desk in the Oval Office? And name one thing he's done in the Senate? It's disgusting how people like Ossoff, Gaetz and Swalwell have conducted themselves while in office. Then, Prince Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Shah, was asked by a German journalist if he's an Israeli agent. He answered no but he's proud of his grandfather, who gave refuge to Jews while they were being burned in ovens in Germany. Pahlavi would be a great choice to lead an Iranian government-in-exile. Meanwhile, hardliners in the current regime have no intention of agreeing to any deal with the U.S. that doesn't give them control over the Strait of Hormuz. Russia, China and North Korean continue to pour weapons into Iran while we play defense. The regime is using this time to recalibrate and reinforce their police state. It's time to just finish them. Finally, a group of people that the Detroit Free Press describes as "anti-Muslim" held a protest ahead of a city council meeting in Dearborn, MI. The report wrote inflammatory statements about the protestors and said counter-protestors shouted antisemitic remarks. Democrats denounced the protest and expressed support for Muslims in Dearborn. Trump went back to the same judge for a restraining order. Brett Kavanaugh already signaled a pathway for limiting 14th Amendment abuse, so the left should not assume a win at the Supreme Court. The Justice Department charged a network selling green cards through fake weddings. Chinese nationals paid facilitators up to $100,000. Facilitators paid American citizens up to $30,000 to stand at the altar. One prenuptial agreement instructed the bride never to speak to the groom again. Then there is Mexico. Former Mexican tourism official Simón Levy published a report on how Mexicans are manufactured in Mexico. Civil registry employees took $4,000 per migrant to forge birth certificates for Cuban, Haitian and Chinese nationals. Mexico deleted the database field recording when a passport was issued in 2021, so the forgeries are untraceable. A Mexican passport drops your US visa refusal rate by 49.5 points. A Chinese national in Beijing becomes a Mexican citizen, then walks into the United States under a new name. The declassified Swalwell file closes the loop. Eric Swalwell admitted a physical relationship with Chinese intelligence asset Fang Fang. She placed interns in his office and laundered money into his campaign. He joked to friends his girlfriend worked for the Chinese CIA. He stayed on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and Nancy Pelosi kept him there. The FBI, which the committee oversees, kept trying to recruit Fang Fang and never moved on Swalwell.
