Melissa went viral.  Well, not by Jana's definition but she did get like 200k views on Libs of TikTok.  This episode is all about the gross book "Let's Talk About It", "policy and procedure" for getting vile books out of school libraries, and what you need to do to stay on your toes.   After this episode was recorded the school system said the book was purchased (with tax dollars) by the school librarian, because it was recommended by their library asset management company Follett  to support the health curriculum, but when it was received it was reviewed and deemed inappropriate for students (although not returned or discarded).  Also after this episode a website came out called BehindSchoolDoors.com - check it out!Lesson for all parents - get involved, don't be naive, and do your research.
