Then we'll preview the Arizona game in a very unscientific manner because...why not. We'll also talk about our favorite southerner Brian Kelly along with the Georgia Dawgs.
In this episode I try to get over my lack of enthusiasm for the football season and MSU athletics in general. Derrick tries to convince me that the team will make a run and that Mike Leach was hired for more than just bringing national attention to MSU via quirky statements. He also tries to convince me that Will Rogers is "the guy" and not a facade created through the Air Raid system and state padding. We also speak on Bulldogs in the Pros and give predictions on all the SEC games and MSU's season.
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we make our return after 3 bajillion years because we know you guys miss us. We discuss the women's basketball season, and how Rickea Jackson transferring was actually a catalyst for the team. We also discuss the men's program and how we feel about the new women's coach and what we're looking for in a new men's coach. We then finish off by discussing how we feel about the baseball team and if it's time to hit the panic button.
facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we start off with a recap of our game against Alabama and the QB performance. Then we look forward to the Vanderbilt game and predict what we think will happent here. We also discuss the LSU-Coach O breakup and how that will pan out. We finish with a discussion of the controversy surrounding Yancy Porter formerly of Ole Miss Spirit and our predict of SEC and Top 25 games.

Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Anchor.com/blkdawgspodcast On today's show we start off with a little discussion about Greenville Christian's win over No.1 Oak Grove and whether it's ethical or not. Then we interview Quinton McCrary from Columbus,MS who also played for the Memphis Tigers about his view on the "rivarly" and how Memphis has recruited MS high school players over the years. We then talk about whether Sherrill or Mullen was the best MSU coach....**spoiler alert* @KingArthurJ was right
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we try to convince you all that a close win is better than no win at all. We start off with Matt Carter of @TheWolfPacker on our opponent today (NC State) and what we have to look forward to at 6pm. We also vent about our frustrations on how the game was headed when we gave up 30 something unanswered points. Then an impromptu discussion about the 2nd best QB in MSU history breaks out.
**Clicking the name of the website will take you to it** Facebook Twitter Instagram Youtube Today we usher in a new season of MSU football and a new season of the Black Dawgs Sports Podcast. We start off by discussing the progress we think we'll make this season and if the Leach hire was the correct one. We then predict the breakout players on both sides of the football for this season. We also delve into what we think the season will hold and also what will happen with the LaTech game (which we were all wrong about).
facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast A super late national championship episode and we'll also be discussing the addition of Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC. Maybe a little NFL....we'll see
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we catch up with former Diamond Dogs Justin Estel and Brett Cleveland as we talk about the diamond dawg's chances against Texas in our first matchup in the College World Series. We also discuss their time as Bulldogs and their favorite moments in Omaha (Estel as a player and Cleveland as a coach). They also give us very interesting takes about a certain OM beatwriter's comments about this year's MSU team and how Ole Miss ended up at home again because of "COVID" and "Injuries"
facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we cover all things Super Bulldog Weekend. The spring game (which the guys couldn't agree if it was promising or dooming). The baseball series that where TSUN lost two game but had a great time and apparently won on aggregate. Then last but not least the addition of Garrison Brooks and DJ Jefferies to the men's basketball team. However, the question is...does it matter that we added them with Howland as our coach. We also have a very long discussion about if our baseball team can win a natty or even compete with elite teams with scrawny 195 lb caucasian players?
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we start off with a simple topic "Is the women's program rebuilding or reloading" sure we lost about 6 player but we've also added 4. 3 of which are former 5 start players. We also delve into Super Bulldog Weekend and what a win over Ole Miss could mean for our long term implications. Also TECHNICALLY Ben Howland took us to the Final Four...technically. Even if it was the NIT. Does he deserve more time or have we seen enough?
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we talking about the Charlie foxtrot that is all MSU athletics that isn't baseball. Does Coach Howland deserve another season considering we've already exceeded expectations for this one? Is the McCray-Penson era such a mess that we should cut ties early? Was the women's basketball season a reflection of coaching or of the lack of players' mettle? These questions and more answer in this episode of the #BlkDawgsPodcast
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Today we talk about the struggles of both the Men's and Women's programs. Can the women stop the tailspin their in and does Nikki McCray have the attention of the team? Or is the problem something between the ears of the players themselves. On the men's side they seem to be able to compete with anyone but can't actually beat them. We finish off talking about the week Kylin Hill is having at the Senior Bowl and his viability as an NFL running back.
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Yea we late posting this one but what of it? This was after the win against Florida (probably) for the men and after the Kentucky loss (more than likely) for the women's team. We react to both of those games and then we finish off talking about if Zach Arnett would stick around MSU and who would we replace him with!
Facebook.com/blkdawgspodcast Instagram.com/blkdawgspodcast Youtube.com/blkdawgspodcast Twitter.com/blkdawgspodcast Whether it's football, men's basketball or women's basketball we're not very good and we want answers. The women's team has been somewhat shaky all year and after blowing a lead to Kentucky, trying to blow a lead to Ole Miss, blowing another lead against Alabama and then getting blown out against TAMU what can we do to right the ship going into an ominous game against South Carolina next week. Meanwhile the men's team does things like lose to Kentucky who is awful then beat Top 15 Missouri, get a good win against Florida and then gets blown out by Ole Miss. We're not going to traumatize you by recapping the football season BUT at least we're not Tennessee. Also check out friends of the Black Dawgs Podcast @WTF (facebook.com/wtfrestaurant) and @TheBellSmith (facebook.com/thebellsmith)
