The messages about how we should behave, think, look, and speak are weighing heavily on all of us. You can use your words, facial expressions, body, movements, clothing, actions, and possessions to express your authentic inner self. We may be clumsy, mispronounce our words, spill food and drink on our clothes, and make various blunders, but that's just being human. How do we express ourselves creatively and not worry about what other people think? Share your intense emotions in your projects instead of letting the world dictate what you should or shouldn't do. Please do not be embarrassed or ashamed of having feelings; acknowledge them. Getting closer to your emotions in this way will help you better understand your emotions and, as a result, minimise anxiety and despair in your life. https://youtu.be/U5IyBhxmcQA --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mitchcaptureimagery/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mitchcaptureimagery/support
A quote, according to Seneca "As each day arises, welcome it as the very best day of all and make it your own possession. We must seize what flees. " We've all had those days where nothing seems to happen. You want to finish things, but you can't even get started. You get to work, and once there, you stare at your screen, procrastinate, surf, and waste your time. Then you go home and continue to waste it. You binge-watch a show and continue surfing. Then it's bedtime. And what have you got to show for it? Not a lot. Begin each day by deciding to own it. Get out of bed and tell yourself that. Because these days are quickly passing. Make them matter. Make the most of today. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mitchcaptureimagery/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mitchcaptureimagery/support

When you can't articulate the beauty, the emotion it gives you, or the seclusion, the silence of a place, here is when a photo journal for mental health comes in handy. If you are unable to verbalise or process your feelings, creating a tangible experience can conjure up positive memories and realise the neurotraumatic dopamine allowing our brains to feel pleasure, which is fantastic for positive mindfulness. A picture provides a visual or physical journey of progress that best represents your feelings in that frozen moment, which is why people have pictures of memories around their home as home décor, it doesn't have to be a collage, it can be photos dotted around the home, a photo journal can take any form that you desire.
