For the first episode of the new year, I decided to sit down and record a solo podcast. It is a reflection on 2017 and everything I have learned, particularly about starting Everyday Mormon Girl. I also discuss what is going on in my life right now and what I envision 2018 holds for me and my family. I share some valuable lessons and insights that I have received this year, including: • The idea that God cannot steer a parked car. I needed to move forward in faith, so that the Lord can guide my steps. • The difference between productive and unproductive struggles. • The fact that things don’t need to be perfect to be valuable.
