It's been a journey to say the least. Everyone joined the hack community for their own reason, on they own journey, with their own health and fitness goals. But this group is so much more than that, the collective support, the camaraderie and friendships are what make this all work. It encourages and supports us, pushes us to achieve our goals and most importantly gives us a place to talk about our losses and our victories... this year we sat down around the camp fire and looked back at the journey so far.Shout out to Matt Optimise for Hosting and keeping us all on track.Check out Overclock and Protein Protocol hereWant to know more about coaching? To mark the 70th anniversary of Women of the Year, in this series we're talking to some of the extraordinary ordinary women whose exceptional achievements, courage and legacy (or, indeed, all three) have been recognised with special awards at the event over the decades. They talk about why they were chosen as award winners, recall their memories of the day and share what's happened in their lives since then. Our first guest is also one of our earliest award winners. Pam Warren became known as The Woman in the Mask when, as the worst affected victim of the catastrophic Paddington train crash exactly 25 years ago, she had to wear a plastic mask to protect her badly burnt face as it slowly healed. In spite of the huge challenges she faced in recovering physically and mentally from her appalling injuries, Pam became an outspoken campaigner for improved passenger safety and we presented her with our Women of the Year Award in 2001 in recognition of her remarkable bravery and determination. Pam talks about learning to live with PTSD, how the crash changed her life for the better, why it's important she doesn't get bored, and the famous reporter she met at the lunch and how they became friends.
One year ago, Palestinian militant group Hamas launched an cross-border attack on Israel. It was the deadliest day in Israel's history: Around 1,200 people were killed, and another 250 people were taken as hostages. Israel began a massive campaign of air strikes on Gaza, which has killed 41,000 people according to the Hamas-run health ministry. Tensions have escalated across this region, with Israel launching a military campaign in Lebanon.BBC's Shaina Oppenheimer in Jerusalem explains how life has changed for Israelis, the impact of the attacks on the 7th October and the ongoing hostage crisis.Israel does not allow the BBC - or other international media - to report independently from inside Gaza. We speak to Kristina Völk, a BBC journalist in London, who has been speaking to Palestinians in Gaza for over a year. She tells us their account of how life has changed in Gaza. When I became a mother, I tried SO hard to recreate my beautiful 2 hour morning ritual. I held on so tightly to this ritual. It was such a big part of who I was. Plus it created the most epic container for me to move through the day in. But the more I tried to recreate it, the more resistance there was. The way I experienced time before becoming a mama, was very different to hw I was experiencing it in this chapter. I didn't have the same pockte of time for a big ritual or spiritual practice. I didnt have the same amount of time for breathwork, movement, journaling, oracle card pulling, and emotional release work. And so, instead of accepting the time I had and the chapter I was in, I had a toddler tantrum, and decided I wasnt going to have a ritual AT ALL...which was not a good idea. In this episode I walk you through my journey, of finally finding a ritual and spiritual practice that works with the time, emotional bandwidth and mental capacity I have now. It has changed my life, and I dont say that lightly. My experience as a friend, business owner, and most importantly, a mother, has drastically changed since I brought these practice back. So dive into this episode, and take notes!! BOOK A BREATHWORK SESSION(S) COME HANG ON INSTAGRAM
I see a lot of stereotypes around Love and Arranged marriages and with this episode I am attempting to break them by sharing snippets of my life after ‘happily ever after'. I also talk about why I wanted to get married, my upbringing, conditioning, fights with my husband and about motherhood.Husband-Wife relationship is probably the most important for both the spouses involved and if you find the right person, work-life balance, parenting, homemaking and your personal growth become a little easy.I see changing equations in modern families that benefit both the partners and also arrangements that are no good for anyone. This episode is an attempt to spread the message about healthy relationships in marriages. Learn the secrets of success from those who built their own empires from scratch. You can try adopting the habits of super rich people and see how it will help you save money. Successful people are rarely night owls; they go to bed and wake up quite early. So this was the first habit I decided to take on. By the end of the first week, I noticed that I was able to do way more before noon than I could ever do during the whole day. One more week into the experiment I started waking up completely well-rested and excited to start a new day. Self-made successes swear by exercising every day for at least 30 minutes. After just 10 days, it already became a habit. I became more concentrated and calmer. If meditating helps successful people stay on top of their game, it should help me out too. Networking is like currency for successful people. A lot of successful people (like Steve Jobs, for instance) keep a super minimalistic approach to fashion, often wearing the same outfit every day. Truly smart and successful people control their expenses and don't spend their money on useless things. Music: Operatic - Vibe Mountain https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/... TIMESTAMPS Go to bed and wake up quite early 0:34 Exercise every day for at least 30 minutes 1:51 Meditate 3:01 Set goals and achieve them 3:57 Meet new people as much as you can 4:44 Read more useful books 5:34 Wear simple clothes 6:24 Be thrifty 7:10 Conclusion 8:08 SUMMARY -With will power of steel, I decided to wake up at the same time every day and come to work an hour early. It took me 3 days to get the schedule right. -The hardest part here wasn't even the gym itself, it was exercising after working all day. After just 10 days, it already became a habit. I started sleeping better and waking up easier. -Meditation turned out to be a really good way to get my head straight and renew my energy. -Even though I didn't manage to tackle all my tasks, I was able to do more things in the first week than I did during the entire previous month. -I learned to find common ground with people from the get-go, met a lot of extraordinary individuals, and made some really good friends. -I carried a book with me at all times and read it on the way to work and back home or during lunch. As a result, by the end of the first month, I had finished my fourth book. -I no longer had to waste time every day choosing my outfit, deciding whether or not it matched or if it was trendy and whatnot. -I started out by making a list of everything that I bought every day so that I could see what I spent my money on. This system helped me save 40% of my salary in the first month and almost 60% in the second. -New habits really did completely change my life for the better. Send us a textReThink Podcast Digital MarketplaceReThink WebsiteYoutube ChannelWhy is 'Words Create' Important? We often don't realize how much power our words carry, and that's where the problem begins. Not understanding or using the power of words can hold you back in life. Let's break down the top 5 problems you might face if you're not aware of how your words shape your reality:Negative Self-Talk: Constantly saying things like “I'm not good enough” embeds that belief into your mind.Example: If you always say “I can't do this,” you'll start believing it, and it becomes your reality.Reinforcing Limiting Beliefs: Phrases like “I'll never be successful” keep you stuck in limiting beliefs, blocking your ability to grow.Example: If you say, “I'm bad with money,” you'll always struggle with finances.Damaging Relationships: Words spoken in anger or frustration can hurt your relationships.Example: Saying things like “You always let me down” can build resentment in a relationship.Manifesting Negative Outcomes: Focusing on what you don't want through your words attracts those negative outcomes.Example: Saying “I hope I don't fail” puts your mind in a state of fear, making failure more likely.Feeling Powerless: Using weak or passive language like “I'll try” instead of “I will” can make you feel powerless.Example: Saying “I hope things get better” versus “I will make things better” reflects a lack of control over your life.Segment 3: The “Solution” of the PodcastTop 3 Solutions for Harnessing the Power of Words:Let's talk about how we can fix this! Here are three key solutions to help you transform your life by changing the way you speak:Positive Affirmations: Start each day with positive statements about who you are and what you want to become. Words like “I am capable” or “I am worthy” rewire your brain for success.Example: Replace “I'm not good at this” with “I'm learning and growing every day.”Speak What You Want to Create: Focus on the positive outcomes you want, not what you fear. Use phrases like “I am creating success” instead of “I hope I don't fail.”Example: Say, “I attract opportunities,” rather than “I hope something works out.”Empower Your Relationships: Use language that lifts others up. Instead of criticizing, try encouraging those around you.Example: Say, “I believe in you” instead of “You're always making mistakes.”Support the Podcast: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1590358/support Closing of ReThinkBuzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched! There have been many impacts following the October 7 massacres. And while the negative side is well-established: Israel at war against an increasingly aggressive array of Iranian-backed terrorist groups, anti-Jewish hatred, Israel under attack diplomatically, and much more, there are also many uplifting stories. Stories like Justin Chow's: On October 6, he was a university student in Canada, from Hong Kong, minding his own business and pursuing his academic career. But the next day, everything changed for him. A light went off, so to speak, and suddenly, a conflict on the other side of the world, one which he had no personal connection with, became immensely personal to him. Justin, who just graduated from the University of Toronto, is a recent HRC/AVI Campus Media Fellow, and is now an Allyship Advisor with Allied Voices for Israel (AVI), and he joins us on our podcast this week. Welcome to The Honest Report podcast.

Exodus 3:1-10 ESV Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. And Moses said, “I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.” When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. Then the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. And now, behold, the cry of the people of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”
