The Griffin Armament's Dwell Time podcast is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in learning more about the company and their products. As someone who recently purchased a Recce 7 and a BCG from Griffin Armament, I was excited to dive deeper into their operations by listening to the podcast. The quality and finish of their products are outstanding, and I was curious to learn more about the company behind them.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the great information it provides in a relaxed and conversational format. The hosts, Sam, Evan, and Austin, do a great job of presenting technical information in an accessible way, making it easy for listeners to understand and engage with. Additionally, they often invite industry experts who drop knowledge bombs on various topics related to firearms and accessories. This makes each episode not only informative but also highly engaging.
Another aspect that stands out is Sam's natural ability as a media host. He keeps the show flowing smoothly and knows how to ask the right questions to get interesting insights from his guests. Evan and Austin also provide valuable input on technical aspects, adding depth to conversations. Their passion for what they do shines through in every episode, making for an enjoyable listening experience.
However, one of the downsides of this podcast is its length or frequency. Many listeners expressed a desire for longer episodes or more frequent releases. Given the amount of valuable information shared during each episode, it would be great if there were extended discussions or even more episodes released per month. This would allow listeners to delve further into different topics covered by Griffin Armament.
In conclusion, The Griffin Armament's Dwell Time podcast is an excellent resource for those interested in learning more about the company behind high-quality firearm products like the Recce 7 and BCG. With its relaxed format and informative content presented by knowledgeable hosts like Sam, Evan, and Austin, this podcast offers valuable insights into the world of firearms and accessories. While longer episodes or more regular releases would be a welcome addition, the podcast is still highly recommended for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in this field.

In this episode, Evan and Austin discuss the newest Gate-LOK™ 5.56 product from Griffin Armament: the M4SD-L™ Suppressor. Internal flow and balancing of optimized sound suppression is a fundamental study in silencer engineering, as that is the chief reason to use these items. The M4SD-L™ 5.56mm suppressor is the perfect combination of many beloved suppressor technologies that Griffin Armament is known for: GATE-LOK™ mounting, tubeless laser welding, ECO-FLOW™ baffle technology, and vented pressure reduction end caps. Each individual baffle in the M4SD-L™ has been tuned to provide superior sound reduction and incorporates Griffin's patented ECO-FLOW™ technology that reduces back-pressure and increases flow. This makes the suppressor host firearm operating system more reliable and largely un-affected by the suppressor, providing cleaner breathing air to the operator's face. Each baffle has been individually tuned and engineered for a specific purpose, unlike a classic stack design. This means that each baffle has an independent function to improve performance. This suppressor utilizes the GATE-LOK™ QD mounting system, one of the fastest on the market, allowing compatibility of attachment to milspec A2 NATO compensators as well as Griffin's proprietary performance rich GATE-LOK™ muzzle device options. M4SD-L™ silencers have no minimum barrel length restrictions or constraints for rifle calibers. While longer barrels may promote longer service life, there are no barrel length restrictions with this suppressor! In this episode, Evan and Austin discuss the newest rimfire product from Griffin Armament: the Checkmate-HD™ suppressor. Due to the popularity of the Checkmate-QD legacy suppressor, the Checkmate-HD™ is a 5.7x28 pistol rated rimfire suppressor that utilizes Griffin's patented ECO-FLOW™ baffle technology, as well as a newly developed CARBON-GARD™ baffle technology - the subject of a pending patent. The Checkmate-HD™ suppressor is lightweight, affordable, and has market-leading sound performance. Additionally, Griffin's CARBON-GARD™ technology seals the entire baffle core with high temperature silicone o-rings, making this the most user-maintenance friendly rimfire suppressor on the market. After 2,000 rounds are fired, the inside diameter of the tube and outside diameter of the core are still spotlessly clean, allowing ease of disassembly without the use of specialized tools.
