Six years ago, T.REX ARMS managed to get a state ammunition tax repealed. Ever since, we've had a lobbyist working on 2A legislation every year. However, a small group of Tennesseans have taken the lessons learned from that first ammo tax fight and spun up a separate lobbying effort that had a surprising level of success. This is their story. https://www.tnfreedominitiative.com/https://tnfi.substack.com/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8enTHRDq9r8
In Episode 118, Sofia interviews Lucas Botkin! Lucas Botkin is an entrepreneur, innovator, and educator in the firearms industry. In 2013, with just $1,000 and an iPod Touch, he launched T.REX ARMS from a small garage, turning a passion for protection and a vision for innovation into a multi-million dollar manufacturing and retail company. What began as a custom holster business has since evolved into a brand known for high-quality firearm accessories, cutting-edge product development, and a commitment to education. From the beginning, Lucas saw T.REX ARMS as more than just a gear manufacturer. Recognizing gaps in the gun industry, he set out to design and produce high-end products that didn't yet exist, filling crucial voids in the market. But just as importantly, he envisioned the company as a platform to raise the standards of responsible firearm ownership and personal defense. Through engaging educational content, training resources, and social media outreach, Lucas and his team have built a community that values preparedness, self-reliance, and skill development. On this episode of the She Shield Podcast, we dive into the origins of T.REX ARMS, how the company got its name, and the purpose behind its educational content. Lucas shares insights into his process for creating high-quality training materials, the importance of keeping up with training, tips for practical preparedness, and more. Don't miss this conversation packed with valuable knowledge from one of the industry's leading voices.Follow the pod on instagram for more episode updates @sheshieldpod. On this week's show, Brandon joins Lucas to discuss his background and what he's been up to since joining the T.REX ARMS team.
As the cost of living skyrockets, what are young men desiring to establish themselves financially to do? Rather than shrink in fear, they should make the most of whatever tools God has put in their hands—in hopeful pursuit of the Dominion Mandate, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Gen. 1:28). In this podcast, Scott Brown and Jason Dohm, joined by special guest Isaac Botkin, discuss exciting opportunities that exist in practical fields such as hand-on trades and manufacturing. Drawing from his personal experience with T.Rex Arms, Isaac notes that Christians who know how to bring order out of disorder and create an increase from the assets they have will be in demand—whether they own their own company or work for others. His message: Don’t lose heart as a young man trying to make it. Trust God and take dominion with hope!

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is dangerous for America's Left. An undeniably black, Christian conservative with the same energy and working-class appeal as President Donald Trump is the Democrats' and mainstream media's worst nightmare. How do we know? Because both the liberal establishment and their propagandist media have already begun the attacks, giving Robinson the Trump treatment. With a primary win on Super Tuesday, Robinson seems to be on his way to claiming the governor's seat in Raleigh and Jason believes perhaps the White House in 2028. “Mark Robinson could be Harriet Tubman, he could be Nat Turner. He could be the one that frees the slaves from the Democrat Plantation.” T.J. Decentralization is in the main stream, but rarely by that name. Whether it's a lack of faith in the federal government, or a reaction to what looks like crumbling complex systems, or a focus on local communities, to calls for National Divorce, we might wonder if the case for decentralization is purely evidenced by the failures of centralized power. Isaac Botkin joins us again to discuss what decentralization looks like on the ground floor, and what the limitations of the principle may be. It's not enough to use the Second Amendment as merely a legal defense against tyranny. Just as the paper itself does not establish a Human Right, neither does the institution that honors it. But these concepts did not arrive out of the void. Rather the ideas that culminated in the Second Amendment took centuries to crystalize into a codification intending to restrict governments from infringing on the rights of the people. Politicians, movements, and ideologies can all be guilty of simplifying history into a specific narrative: the Enlightenment was a battle between science and religion, the American war for Independence was between good Colonials and bad Red Coats, and history is only written by the victor. While these generalizations can feel helpful at times, if we are to learn from history, we must first understand it, and in order to do so, we must consider how we gather information on the subject. In addition to producing gear for the culture, T.Rex arms also dedicates time to participate in culture building. Isaac Botkin joins the show to discuss what had to come to pass before we were able to produce a document with the express purpose of defending the right to bear arms. How did a young 20 year old civilian come to command such a presence and build such a well respected brand in the firearms industry? That's exactly what we're going to dive into on today's episode. Lucas share with us how he started TREX ARMS, what it looked like to build the company over time, and the massive shift he has had to undertake from working IN the business, to now working ON the business as CEO. We cover all this and more in today's podcast, it's totally packed with value and you're going to absolutely love it. Thanks for listening everybody! Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast! Guys, I can't even tell you how excited I am about today's podcast. Lucas Botkin is well known and very visible in the shooting community. He is the CEO of T.Rex Arms, a firearms trainer, a Twitch video game streamer and he played a role in the Call of Duty video games. His company T. Rex Arms created the popular Sidecar holster and sells a variety of other shooting products. Lucas is unique from other content creators because of his shooting ability and his large social media following. During this episode topics discussed range from Lucas' role in Call of Duty to how he evaluates gear and his training before he and Joel met. Log into Practical Shooting Training Group to listen to the full episode and ask follow up questions at http://pstg.us/
Join Julian and his special guest Silas as they discuss Dinosaur Facts and why the T-Rex had such short arms.
The T. rex is the embodiment of ferocious: razor sharp teeth, claws and a taste for blood. If you were running away from one of these beasts, you might not even notice its tiny arms. But there they are, in every recreation, almost comically small arms. So what gives? Paleontologist Bhart-Anjan Bhullar sets us straight on this not-so-tiny question. Do you have a head-scratcher you want us to answer? Unlike T. rex, you can scratch your head, and when you're done, submit your Moment of Um question at BrainsOn.org/contact.
Joining Mitch and Nathan this week is Kyle of Trex Arms, head of customer service (and secretly the CEO of the company). Kyle and Mitch discuss growing up on a farm and Kyle gets into Joel Salatin, Polyface Farms and the sustainable family homestead movement of the early 2000's that's currently seeing a resurgence, the lads discuss rural life, raising cows, community and culture. Mitch also asks Kyle to get in to how T.REX Arms so seamlessly handles any gun community controversy/drama across the many personal pages of it's team and Kyle's work at the company and his ever evolving position and responsibilities. The lads also cover the common trait amongst a number of T.REX employees being homeschooled and get into Kyle's thoughts on why so many are shifting from public school to teaching their own children. I've got an incredible guest today. His name is Lucas Botkin and he is the founder of T. Rex Arms, a firearm accessory manufacturing company. But this conversation took an early turn away from firearms and more into how to build a thriving business using the power of social media. But don't worry, we still talk about firearms stuff – night vision, optics, body armor, training, etc. But even if you're not into firearms, we have some topics for you including the power of money, how to manage people correctly, human psychology, making a stand for something, building customer relationships, and how to build a firearms (or any other type) of empire. SHOW HIGHLIGHTS: You don't have to have everything figured out by age 20 You can do what you enjoy AND make a lot of money Shifting focus from the product to the people Working with coaches and mentors Building trust through social media presence Why companies have public relations issues An effective strategy to build brand loyalty Making time for personal development Trends of the firearms community in 2022 Protecting businesses during “peaceful” protests Maintaining professionalism in appearance and behavior Being an ambassador for the gun ownership community Demonstrating competence to new gun owners The Iron Council is officially open, gents. And, if you're not familiar with what the Iron Council is, consider it your band of brothers. Want maximum health, wealth, relationships, and abundance in your life? On the latest Our Monkeys, My Circus Podcast, the eight-year-old and I start off by talking about things that scare us. (Related: the eight-year-old admits to being scared by Scrubbing Bubbles when he was younger. I got nothing.) We then talk to the four-year-old about things that "kinda creeps him out." This all leads to a predictable conversation about Halloween costumes (Ninajo-themed, naturally). We then talk a little NFL news -- Eli vs. Peyton (Eli wins out because, in the immortal words of the eight-year-old, "a kid in my class is named eli"), nicknames for Andy Dalton (Carrot Top Cannon prevails), and the Steelers' last-second win. Finally, the conversation turns to school bus barfing noises, stinky kids, selfie sticks, birthdays, woolly mammoths and humans with T-Rex arms.
