I think we have forgotten what the show is about. It's called Have a Drink, not “Have some Eggs . . .” although that does sound tasty. Have we done some of this before, sure, but we are better now and can ask the hard-hitting questions. Like, does Japan have the peat for this? Apparently so, but do they even use it? It's time for our new series for the year, and it's the year of Sake! Yes, we discussed it before, but we are going in deep now and much like Sake brewing, it's going to take a couple of tries before it's all done. The history might be a little sketchy, but if the Scotch and Bourbon episodes have taught us anything, it's that most of the great distillers didn't necessarily have the most legal starts. It's actually Japanese for “we own this beer now.” And that's fine because Australia has its own distinct beer it can call it's own, the Australian Sparkling Ale.
