I think Aaliyah said it best when she said “age ain’t nothing but a number.”  Now she was singing about something a lil different from what I’m talking about.  She was talking about love and relationships, but today I’m talking about your age in relation to your dreams and goals.  Now, we’ve talked about this before, but I see it far too often to not address it again.  Today we are going to talk about the unhealthy thought patterns related to age and success and I’ll help you learn what you should be telling yourself to help you be your best regardless of your age.  And I hope to inspire you to pace yourself. The American poet E.E. Cummings once said “It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”  Being yourself sounds so simple, but in today’s society, it’s rather hard.  To be free to think how you want, live how you want, and be how you want, is true freedom.  So why are so many of us not living this way?  Authenticity is the goal.  To be genuine and real in everything you do.  And to be this way in a society where being alike is more popular than ever is challenging, but it is still very possible for you to live an authentic life.  In today's episode, we are going to discuss ways you can become more authentic and basically change your life for the better and I hope to inspire you to use your power.

I love the saying “your past doesn’t have to define you.”  It is so true and it is such a great reminder that what you’ve gone through in the past does not have to be a reflection of who you are today.  However, I do believe it is very important to realize and understand that your past can impact you.  It may not define who you are, but your past can be very impactful.  Many of you have been able to take the life you’ve been given and build upon it.  But what you had to build upon may be a broken foundation.  In today’s episode we are going to talk about how to repair a mental foundation that may have been broken due to past experiences.  I’m going to give you a few things to know and a few tips to help you repair your mental foundation.  And I hope to inspire you to Rebuild.
