The Gospel remains never-changing even with the changes of the world. Even at that, it seems like some of Christians have started making the gospel progressive in order to suit the world we live in which isn't the way it should be and which is done at the cost of the authenticity of the gospel for those generations. And that begs the question of what type of gospel the generations down the line will find if the current generation waters and dilutes it. Will the gospel be spirit filed and true generations from now?? This episode dives into the responsibility the current believers have in protecting and preserving the authentic nature of the gospel in order for generations coming later to find it still true and not diluted through schemes of the worldly agenda. It further emphasises on the importance of taking such responsibility very seriously as well because current believers do contribute to the gospel that future generations will receive from them. Kindly do share the episode and do give us a review.
Last episode, we speak about the dangers of spiritual coasting and how it's cause a lot of things in a believer life including lack of belief. In this episode, we touch on being a spiritual coaster and how it's contribute to lukewarm and what the bible says about it. We explore the call to personal relationship and its importance as it's God desire for us to have a personal relationship with God. This episode is an extension of the previous episode and builds on what the previous episode has always started but with more biblical reference to it. I pray this episodes blesses you. May you share it with your world.
We don't necessarily have a society or a people that lack faith, we have a lot of people that lack faith for their lives. It's almost as if their faith alone never brings forth anything unless the coast on someone spiritually. We have a people that live on second hand revelation instead of choosing to seek the one who gives all revelation (God) and hear from them directly. By going through the story of Genesis 3, we see some danger of living on second hand communication and how those dangers are still experiences for some individuals who depend on other people's faith only and who are spiritually coasting from others.
We live in a society that focuses soo much of what happens in public that even believer unfortunately have been roped in into performative Christianity culture. Believer are starting to see Christianity as a performance opportunity and like a professional role they need to suit which shouldn't be that way. It's is undeniable that pretence especially in the faith community has many disadvantages, not only to the faith community as a whole but to individuals too. This episodes speaks about some of the dangers of professional Christianity and why it should be avoided at any costs and why authentic genuine relationship with God should be our pursuit as believers.
Most of the time, we hear every person saying they have a vision at the very beginning of the year but as we move into the year we still hear them JUST talk about that vision but never take steps towards achieving that vision. In this episode, I discuss what we need to do beyond or after we have written down the vision. Its good to have the vision but tits sad when one has a vision and does nothing as if vision should fulfill itself or something. Share the episode with your world. 2024 we are speaking less and being active more.
This may be a vulnerable season where I get a bit real on some things I am navigating and certain choices I have made regarding myself. Might not be what you expect but it will bless you a lot.......enjoy and share it.....................
We talk about being in an intimate relationship with God and how that is crucial but we times forget to speak about the secrecy of intimacy and why that is required. Intimacy can never be a public affair but it's effectiveness is what the general public gets to see. I hope this episode gives you a different perspective but most importantly, may you invest in your intimacy with God.
Most of the times, I find people throwing around phrases like: “God surely has his favourites because why am I going through hard seasons back to back?” Whilst I know for a fact that God doesn't play favorites, it's very important that we understand that no one is immune from hardships or trials and tribulations because they are a believer. It's just that certain people know how to overcome trials without looking like what they are overcoming. While the latter has been labeled by society as faking it, it is actually untrue as no where in the Bible have we been told that we ought to look like our problem but rather to rejoice in our tribulations as we stay steadfast in prayer. I hope this episode gives you a new perspective and blesses you.
We all have prayer points we bring to God about things we are believing God for. This isn't wrong at all, but how we wait on God, our level of expectation and how we prepare to receive from God is also equally important. In this episode, we dig deep into the posture of waiting and how our level of expectation and preparedness contribute to us receiving our breakthroughs from God. Do enjoy listening and kindly do share the episode with other people.
Sometimes we have plans and expect certain things to happen at a particular point in our lives and they don't end up happening so we become disappointed or even angry at God. Patience is a virtue because waiting for anything isn't an easy thing at all and I speak about it a bit. I also share a couple of things about being in the wilderness season and how it has been in this season of mine. It's a bit personal and I hope you enjoy. One thing though, always hold on to the faith and wait on the Lord. Hold on to the word God has given you.
The word says if we abide in God's word, we are to bear much fruit and our fruits will remain. As a person seeking the heart of God, it's very important that the word of God(his heart) is in us and we need to be intentional about that. This episode teaches on what it looks like for one's heart to abide in the word of God, why it is important and how you can do it. I hope and pray this episode blesses your life and transforms your spiritual life.
As believers, we ought to devote our heart to God. While knowing this and understanding this is not a problem, executing it or rather implementing it in our lives may be a tricky one. In this episode, we share from scripture how important it is to devote our hearts to Gods and some ways how we do it on our daily lives as we walk with God.
Taken from the story of Joseph, todays episode discusses the importance of knowing who to tell about whatever Gods reveals to you and why it is important.
There are times we receive a direct and personal word with God but due to our impatience, we end up doing things our own way which maybe may be rooted in the fact that we couldn't wait on God to bring what he has said to pass or we straight up dont believe God will bring to pass what he said. This episode walks through the story of Abram and Sarai (before they became Abraham and Sarah) and what they did in an attempt to assist God is fulfilling his own word (as if God needs our assistance (LOL). With that portion of scripture, we touch a bit on how that may be something we do today and how it may affect our lives based on their story. Please do not forget to share the episode with other people that you may know.
Based on the story of the Israelites in the wilderness and telling Moses they want to go back to Egypt, this episode talks about how most of us yearn to go back to our past and from places God has saved us from due to the familiarity we have with those places even when there is a promise land for us. This usually happens when we are in the wilderness and because the future is unknown to us and the one who are to trust is the one we haven't met physically, we immediately wish for what was because what was is what we are familiar with and we equate familiarity with safety even though that was a place of bondage for us. I hope this episode blesses you.
It is undeniable that we live a life with problems. However, some of us start building a life circled around what we go through and that is not a life God has for us. In moments were we face difficult circumstances, it's very important that we fix our eyes on God and not what we go through and this episode is about that. It gives reasons why we can't fixed our lives on our problems and focus more on God. I hope you enjoy
In life, it's very easy for us to trust and rejoice in God when everything is great but when life throws us a curveball, our faith gets a bit shaken and it's a bit hard for some to trust in God's promises. It's one thing to know that God will, it's another thing to trust he actually will. In this episode, I talk about what trusting God and share a few tips on how to trust God in our difficult times. I hope this episode blessed you.
At times, we are too hard on ourselves because we think just because we have been called to purpose then we should be perfect or have it perfect which isn't always the case. Two examples in the Bible being Paul and Moses were called to purposes that didn't look anything that who they were living. This episode will help you free yourself from the shackles of trying to be perfect in your purpose and accepting that it's normal to be flawed in purpose. No one is perfect and so we won't always do perfect things even when we walk in purpose but until we understand that, we will continuously chase perfect and wear ourselves out.
In this episode, I touch on aspects of balancing our lives and signs of imbalances and how we can live a manageable life. I hope you learn a thing or two from it.
Today I just felt like encouraging those that decided to do life with Christ especially because we live in a world that seems to have all to offer and that may be tempting for some of us as believers and I therefore just wanted to encourage you not to give up on your relationship with God.
Today we speak about our speech towards our fellow brothers and sisters and how that is a reflection of how we see God. Genesis 1:27 tells us that God created human in his image and so I talk and ask questions as to why we speak about God is a different light to people that he created in his image/likeness. If we are created in the image of God then why do we speak about our fellow brothers and sitters differently from God when Genesis 1:27 clearly tells us that we were created in God's image?? A bit uncomfortable for you but there is no growth in comfortability so yeah..I hope y'all enjoy and please do engage me and share you opinion. Thank you and see you soon ❤️❤️
If you bake or have baked in your life, you know that there is a main ingredient in a cake that makes the cake rise when it's in the oven which is baking powder or bicarbonate of soda and you won't have a cake in a cake form and shape if that main ingredient is not there. For those that bake bread, you need yeast as the main ingredient to make the dough rise so that your bread cooks through properly and expands in the shape of a bread. As it is with the cake and bread, so it is with our lives. We need the main ingredient in our lives-God for us to live purposefully. And while it's beginning of the year most of us are busy mixing ingredients to bake cakes/breads without the yeast or baking powder, that is, most of us a planning 2022 without first hearing from God for our visions for 2022 and are busy planning without God. This podcast is a sincere plea that as you plan 2022, that you seek God to show your your vision for the year through spending time with him and writing it down and running with that vision. I further emphasise on why it's important to plan with God-he is the main ingredient. I wish you a blessed 2022 and I hope you spend time with God so he gives you vision that you write down and you run with it for the year. I love you and see you soon
Today I just wanted to speak about something since it's end of the year and most of us went back to our goal lists that we made at the beginning of the year. And yes, we might not have achieved all we wanted to in 2021 but just remember not to be hard on yourself and give yourself a break. You have achieved by not giving up on 2021 and that's an achievement by itself. Also, stop comparing your achievements to those of other people.
In this episode, I talk about what the Bible says about being saved or becoming saved and what it means to give your life to Christ by giving an example of a gift which we all know about. I hope this blesses you today and share it with other people.
This piece is a very relatable to most people in their different places of need of answers and some of you will remember you have such silent conversations with God where you wanted to give up on the relationship you have with him.
