In the beginning of 2020, the British High Commission in Wellington began a scholarship programme called He Whai Mātauranga (In Pursuit of Knowledge), which sent three Māori postgraduate students to study taonga (treasures) being housed in UK cultural institutions.  The scholarships took the scholars all over the UK, from the South of England to Scotland and Ireland. This podcast outlines their journey in the UK and the taonga that they found there.  He haerenga tēnei e whai atu ana i ngā taonga me ōna hītori, ōna kōrero, me ōna mātauranga.  This was a journey in pursuit of taonga and their histories, their stories, and the bodies of knowledge held within.
