Weekly messages featuring Pastor Dustin Clegg from The Bridge Church in Wynne, Arkansas.
We are starting a new series called One Another Summer where Pastor Dustin Clegg will walk us through some of the "One Another" commands in the Bible. Today we look at Romans 12:1-16 and as we explore what it means to be members of one another, we have a couple of observations with some applications:(1) Genuinely becoming members of one another is primarily dependent on our individual and corporate relationship with Jesus. (Romans 12:1-2) Applications: (1) Daily ask Jesus to have His way in the bodies He has given us. (2) Protect your mind from being molded by the world. (3) Ask Jesus to give us His mind.(2) Genuinely becoming members of one another is also dependent on the depth we allow the Gospel to shape our hearts for our King & His family. (Romans 12:3-16) Applications: (1) Think rightly about ourselves. (2) Use our gifts for the mission of Jesus & the good of others. (3) Allow the Gospel to sink deeply into our souls to the point that it affects every relationship we have.

(John 20:26)4) One of the best ways that Jesus relieves doubt in the minds and souls of people is revealing to them His restored (but still broken and scarred) body. (John 20:27)ApplicationWorship (and not shame) is the right response for reconciled doubters. (John 20:28)5) Doubt sometimes flows from a lack of perspective. (John 20:29)6) Scripture is given for the sake of life through belief in Jesus. (John 20:30-31)

The series, Who is Jesus?, continues and as we look at John 20:1-10 Pastor Dustin Clegg poses 3 questions to ask of the scripture:1) Why would John record the reactions of Mary and the disciple in an unbelieving light? John was mainly concerned with the facts of the resurrection.2) What was it about the grave clothes that caused John to believe? He knew the body was not stolen.3) Why the stone even moved at all? The stone was moved to let the disciples (and us) in, not to let Jesus out.The message of the resurrection......"Come and see!".

Why? So that you may believe and have life in His name... the name of Jesus!

Anytime we feel that, we are following the wrong voice to the wrong place.2) We cannot add one thing to what Jesus has done on the cross for us. To try to do so is insulting to the King of Kings.

Today Dr. Larry Pillow with We Can Ministries spoke and had several recipients of the ministry speak. With a painful past as a son of an alcoholic and the father of a son who died of an overdose, Dr. Larry Pillow, a retirement-aged minister, was energized by finding and fulfilling his God-given purpose: helping those struggling with addiction. After founding The Renewal Ranch, a successful transformation ministry in Conway, AR. Dr. Pillow assisted in establishing several other Christ-centered recovery ministries in both Arkansas and Ohio. As the calls for help increased it quickly became apparent that those called by God to start Christ-centered recovery centers could benefit from the experience of those who have already done it. And so, WeCan was born. Dr. Pillow and WeCan continue to answer God's calling to love one another as Christ has loved us.Dr. Pillow was instrumental in assisting The Bridge Church to start The Harbor, a Men's Recovery Ministry.https://www.wecanmin.org
