Focus: The early Christians' in Acts gathered daily for worship and made a habit of breaking bread and praying together in their homes. The work of the Spirit through these actions fostered a joyful, generous community and a lifestyle of devotion. Acts 2:46-47

Focus: God's Word is a lamp to our feet and light to our path. The question is, do we use His Word to guide our daily life at home? Do we pick up His Word and use it in our Homes as often as we use lightswitches, maps, or instructional videos? God is always leading us, and our households have the opportunity to daily follow and learn from the giver of life. Psalm 119:97-112

Send us a textFor today's devotional, we will be reading from John 6:1-15 which is the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. My prayer is that this episode blesses you and that you would trust God in everything in your lives. Just like the other stories in the bible this is not addition but multiplication. Jesus multiplies what the boy had in his hands and gave it to his disciples and to Jesus and in return he multiplied it and fed more than 5000 because a little boy let go of what he has and shared it to others.Tell God what you need and share your talent and gifts to others. Sometimes, God may ask you to let go of something so trust God and let it go and see how he blesses your life and through you He can also bless others.Trust God and obey His words. As Peter and John were heading through the gates called Beautiful, they encountered a man who had been lame from birth. This man wasn't just looking for charity; he was desperately searching for someone to truly see him. And Peter and John, following the example of Jesus, chose to see him. They looked beyond his immediate plea for money, beyond the exterior desperation, and into the man's deeper need. Peter's words, "Look at us," carried much more than the promise of alms. They were an invitation to be recognized and valued. Peter saw the deeper truth of this man's need, not just for alms, but for restoration. Peter didn't offer silver or gold, but something far greater - a declaration of the transformative power of Christ. Peter's compassion was not manipulated; it was stirred by the Spirit to bring healing. When Peter said, "In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk," it was a profound statement of what Jesus offers to each of us. The man's physical healing pointed to a deeper reality, the need for every human soul to walk upright before God. The gospel is not merely transactional; it's a declaration of our identity in Christ. We are not beggars, not castoffs, but children of God included in His covenant promises. When Peter reached out his hand, it was a gesture of the gospel's power to restore, to raise us up to walk as people reconciled to God. In the same way, Jesus sees us, and through Him, we are made whole. Though we may feel like beggars at times, seeking scraps of compassion, Jesus offers us life in abundance, calling us to stand upright as His beloved children. Allow Jesus to look into your life today, to take you by the hand, and lift you up to walk with confidence as a redeemed and cherished child of God. That's the essence of His love for us, the profound truth of the gospel. That's a prayer that I have for my own soul. That's a prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, and my daughters, and my son. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose  through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen.   Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Send us a textIn this gratitude episode, I mentioned a few verses. Sorry this devotional became longer than I thought it would be, but the Holy Spirit have a lot to say this morning and He used my voice in spite of a little cold I got from one of my daughters.A few of the main verse that I mentioned are my life verses like Luke 10:38-40 about the story of Martha and Mary. Let us stop from the chaos, lay down and rest on Him and sit at the food of Jesus.Lastly, I shared my personal life verse. John 3:16, if you are someone closed to me and have a personal relationship you would know what I meant by that and I continue reading until verse 21.I read this in the midst of lack of sleep, tiredness, back pain and sing a prayer for you. Don't sing for the world. Don't based your identity on what the world says who you are, your identity is not a wife, a mom, a single person, a married couple with no kids, a married couple with kids and have a perfect organized home, a messy house or apt.You don't invite anyone because you don't want them to judge you. If they only knew that your house is full of love, laughter, you all sing Christmas songs together. You lived in a small apartment, so you used your carpet to put together a puzzle, you used the space God gave you to invite someone so he or she don't spend the Holidays alone.You open your house or your tiny apartment to people so that they don't have to spend Christmas alone. Just like the Feeding of five thousand which is a preview of my next devotional.I'm sorry that Holy Spirit is taking over my fingers again and He is doing the typing. I ended this devotional with a Capela asking you to stop or pause and sing this song during your quiet time. Sing this on your own quiet time and say this prayer of thanksgiving remembering the True meaning of Christmas is Christ.Be blessed my prayer is that you were blessed with the words and the song of prayer that I said and sung in this episode. This is just a little introduction to the Round Table that we did before Thanksgiving. Happy Mother mom and I'm sorry this devotional ended up getting a little longer than I expect it to be it's a little hard to say in a few words how much I love and appreciate my amazing mom. I am so blessed and thankful that God blessed me with a mom who mold me to be the person that I am. I love you mom, and I want the world and everyone to know how much proud I am to be your daughter. Thank you for always believing in me and for everything you do for me.Thank you for teaching me that above else to always seek God and if you have a question, doubt, or anything about life or if the enemy or the world tries to whisper lies to your ears to stop, be still and to open the bible because the bible is our road map. I am who I am today because you taught me to Seek God first and always Come to Jesus Daily and that whatever we all these things shall be given to us but only if we put God first.This is only one of my life verses. Thank you, mom, for living a life of faith and everything you taught me I am teaching my kids too. The legacy I want to teach my kids is to live a life for God and for them to have their own life verses.I am who I am not only because of God but because of you so thank you. Today, she is officially a teenager and getting a certificate for honor roll in her school. I want to dedicate this devotional for blessing us with not only a beautiful, sweet, smart but a godly girl who was dedicated to God and prayed for by the leadership of our church and now is a beautiful young teenage girl that loves and helps me serves in church.Thank you, Lord for blessing us with an amazing daughter. Both of our kids are a blessing. Each devotional you will hear will be dedicated to someone in particular with a verse that God gives me. Kari Bonk is the author of the book called, "Suicidal No More: Finding Peace through the Storm". She is also a Christ centered women who has raised three grown men with my husband Mathew. With her oldest son having Traumatic Brain Injury, her middle son having PTSD and Autism Spectrum 1 social anxiety, and her youngest son being gifted and having PTSD with aggressive anger. On top of that she had her own issues and triggers from my past, yet she overcame all of it with God's help.In this episode, you will hear Kari talked about how she was able to beat suicide. She also talked about talking positive about your life, and finding simple things to find a positive moment in your life where you can create your moment of peace. We also discuss about always being grateful with the blessings that God gave us in our lives.
