There is no easy money in trading, and just when you think there may be, the opportunities that produce it get snatched away from you. That’s the lesson our guest Joseph Gasperoni, who goes by the name JTrader, has learned and passed on to others in a 20-year career as a full-time day trader and educator.Jo started trading in the dotcom era in Italy. At a young age he was soon making the sort of money which most people dream of. Life seemed good and he seemed to be set-up for a great and fruitful career as a trader. However, things change fast in markets, and the rich seams that Jo had tapped into soon ran dry. This maybe a sobering story for many young traders who are currently experiencing their own ‘easy money’. As Jo experienced, what seems like easy money rarely lasts, and when it stops, you need to work out how to make money in all market conditions. Following the taps running dry for Jo, he went through a period of deep reflection, anxiety and self-doubt. The period of underperformance was a hit to his self-esteem which he took personally, and which led to sleepless nights and panic attacks. After a break for a couple of years Jo returned and started trading in the U.S Markets, effectively starting over, learning a new strategy in a new market, and trading in new ways. The key to his story and subsequent success is one of adaption, evolution and re-learning. Jo also started his own educational arm which provides learning and mentoring services for traders. Education services are vital for new retail traders who miss out on the benefits of learning in a trading room environment. Whilst there are many dubious providers of trading education, Jo came to us highly recommended and we were able to explore this vital area of trader development. As well as being a full-time trader and mentor, Jo is into mixed martial arts and bodybuilding. You can find out more about Jo on his website: https://jtrader.co/ and can follow him on twitter here https://twitter.com/jtraderco
Peter interviews Jordan Klein, a doula with a passion for education about everything pre- and post-natal.As Jo says; the "mistake" most women make when they are pregnant is thinking that they will be told everything they need to know, and this is just not the case. So, for you lucky people, she's agreed to come on to the Healthy Post natal Body podcast and chat to yours truly. What should every woman know about the pre- and post-natal journey? What is the reality of pregnancy, and the labour process, versus what most women think is going to happen. What are the benefits of having a doula guide you through your pregnancy and labour. What is currently missing from most pre-natal classes and how do different hospitals have different procedures? It's a very enlightening chat and, if you are currently expecting (or indeed are planning another addition to the family) this is well worth a listen. You can follow Jo on TikTok or Instagram where she shares a TONNE is information in very handy and fun-to-follow videos by searching @jothemamaThe "In the News this week" is after episode 92 of the podcast which is an interview with GM Whitley which we are releasing as a double header because it ties in beautifully with this episode.Remember to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the competitions, wisdom and cute videos. Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes M.E. (Micki) Browning to the studio. This second visit with Micki is all about her new brand and new book SHADOW RIDGE. Micki Browning writes the Jo Wyatt Mysteries and the Agatha-nominated and award-winning Mer Cavallo Mysteries (as Micki Browning). An FBI National Academy graduate, Micki worked in municipal law enforcement for more than two decades and retired as a captain. Micki also writes short stories and nonfiction. Her work has appeared in dive magazines, anthologies, mystery magazines, and textbooks. She is a professional divemaster and owns a vast array of scuba equipment she uses for "research". About SHADOW RIDGE: Echo Valley, Colorado, is a place where the natural beauty of a stunning river valley meets a budding hipster urbanity. But when an internet stalker is revealed to be a cold-blooded killer in real life the peaceful community is rocked to its core. It should have been an open-and-shut case: the suicide of Tye Horton, the designer of a cutting-edge video game. But Detective Jo Wyatt is immediately suspicious of Quinn Kirkwood, who reported the death. When Quinn reveals an internet stalker is terrorizing her, Jo is skeptical. Doubts aside, she delves into the claim and uncovers a link that ties Quinn to a small group of beta-testers who had worked with Horton. When a second member of the group dies in a car accident, Jo’s investigation leads her to the father of a young man who had killed himself a year earlier. But there’s more to this case than a suicide, and as Jo unearths the layers, a more sinister pattern begins to emerge–one driven by desperation, shame, and a single-minded drive for revenge. As Jo closes in, she edges ever closer to the shattering truth–and a deadly showdown that will put her to the ultimate test. @copyrighted

Jo Whitton is the incredible founder of Quirky Cooking and authors of one of my favourite books Life Changing Food. After her son Isaac started to struggle with his mental health, Jo’s mission to help her son heal naturally began. As Jo learnt more about the importance of a healthy gut for reducing inflammation and healing both physical and mental health issues, she began to focus specifically on traditional whole foods and ‘food as medicine’ and noticed her son stabilise. Jo runs health seminars, retreats, and cooking classes both in Australia and overseas, sharing how to transition to a healing, whole food diet without the overwhelm. In this episode we chat about: The catalyst of her life-changing journey to GUT friendly recipes? After Michael's ominous parting line to him at the end of the last episode, Matt is pretty sure Michael is taking Sydney up north to murder her, and as we know, he's not actually wrong. He's just going to have a hard time (a) tracking them down to the resort in the High Sierras that they happen to be staying in, and (b) convincing law enforcement that these newlyweds are out of sight for reasons other than that they're having tons of sex. Michael makes a couple of attempts on Sydney's life before Matt gets to the right cabin with the cavalry, but did he make it in time?! As Jo's pregnancy progresses, she is increasingly haunted by visions of Reed, in both her sleeping and waking hours. (Reed is also on Jake's mind, as he attends the police auction where the Pretty Lady is sold with designs on convincing the winning bidder to let him use the vessel for a charter business, just like Reed told Jake he was planning to do.) Jake convinces Jo that she won't have peace until she gets closure on Reed, or whatever spectral version of him remains. When she's not helping Jo find Reed's barely marked grave, Alison whines about Billy's refusal to participate in planning their wedding and general lack of romantic effort since locking her down with his proposal. To reignite the spark, Alison hits upon a scheme guaranteed to make Billy irritable, and he's probably not the only one. Julie Andrews taught us that the beginning is a "very good place to start"... but being a beginner isn't always easy. We have a lot of experience being beginners through our work at Make.Do. As Jo says, "We're in the business of being beginners." In this episode, we share some of our own experiences as beginners, obstacles that keep people from trying something new, and a few "takeaways" for the next time we find ourselves at the beginning. Joanne Shetler (1936-Present): Join us today as we explore the incredible ministry of Wycliffe Bible translator Joanne Shetler, who witnessed a powerful work of God’s Spirit among the unreached Balangao people of the Philippines. As Jo spent twenty years translating the Word of God into Balangao, she watched Him bring radical deliverance from demonic oppression, perform miraculous healings, and effect the spiritual transformation of an entire people through the Gospel message. It’s no wonder she entitled her autobiography, And the Word Came With Power! And the Word Came With Power by Joanne Shetler
Jo Ashworth is a Kalannie girl through and through. Born and raised in the small Western Australian farming town, some 300 k’s from Perth, she grew up on her parent’s farm. Just like most kids in the area, she went off for boarding school in Perth. Jo studied to become a Mechanical engineer, meeting her husband Wal along the way. As Jo’s three boys grew up, Jo found ways of becoming a really involved member of the community, eventually becoming a manager of the Kalannie Community Resource Centre. But a career challenge with her son caused Jo to start asking questions, and then started down a journey to the Growing Kalannie project, an initiative that saw Jo become a finalist in the 2020 Agrifutures Rural Woman of the Year awards for Western Australia. As a Mum, Jo works to challenge her own beliefs and be an amazing model for her boys, encouraging them to discover their own paths in life. She’s passionate about changing the status quo, developing community, and in turn, growing the population of Kalannie. Thank you to the RRR Network for working with us to put together this series. She still uses the mindfulness techniques almost daily as a calmative prior to going to bed. In the last 2 years she has only occasionally had insomnia but she enjoys the mindfulness meditations of the body scan and the mountain . As Jo says this way of approaching insomnia isn’t easy, it is not a quick fix, it is a commitment and demands time and energy, going to the mind gym. As Jo says doctors want to help but only have pills in the arsenal, although talking therapies are becoming more available. So please if you are suffering with insomnia contact me at huw@mindfunessbath.co.uk to find out more about online courses and the 8 wk mindfulness course.

Let’s break the silence on postnatal depression. Postnatal depression affects so many women, but many still struggle to talk about it – this must change! Raising awareness and campaigning for these conversations to happen is my guest, Jo Love, successful entrepreneur and founder of online platform, Lobella Loves. Our candid conversation delves into postnatal depression as we discuss strategies to deal with it, breaking silence on it and the value of being truly transparent with our struggles. As Jo herself insists, we must acknowledge the shit as well as the sunshine!
