Der Beschäftigtendatenschutz in Deutschland kommt nicht voran. Eigentlich sieht eine Öffnungsklausel in der DSGVO vor, dass die EU-Mitgliedsstaaten diesbezüglich mit nationalen Gesetzen das Recht ausgestalten dürfen. In Deutschland existiert aber bis dato nur der unspezifische Paragraf 26 BDSG und einige gleichlautende Vorschriften in Landesdatenschutzgesetzen. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren ist vorgesehen, ein eigenes Beschäftigtendatenschutzgesetz zu entwickeln. Auch die Ampelkoalition hatte sich ein solches in ihr Pflichtenheft für die Legislaturperiode geschrieben. Im Oktober 2024 legte sie schließlich einen Referentenentwurf vor. Dieser sah unter anderem klare Regeln zur Einwilligung von Arbeitnehmern, Überwachungsmaßnahmen durch den Arbeitgeber und Löschfristen für Beschäftigtendaten vor. Doch mit dem Scheitern der Ampel Anfang November wanderte dieser Entwurf direkt in die Tonne. Im c't-Datenschutz-Podcast diskutieren Joerg und Holger mit Rechtsanwalt Dr. Marc Störing die aktuelle Lage. Marc berät für die Kanzlei Osborne Clarke Unternehmen und Konzerne datenschutzrechtlich. In der Episode erläutert er fachkundig die Situation des europäischen Beschäftigtendatenschutzes und ordnet zwei wichtige Urteile des Europäischen Gerichtshofs (EuGH) aus den Jahren 2023 und 2024 dazu ein. Die Diskutanten sind sich einig, dass wenig Hoffnung auf eine baldige gesetzliche Regelung besteht. Ein Blick auf die Programme der Parteien zur Bundestagswahl zeigt, dass sich nur die SPD klar für ein Beschäftigtendatenschutzgesetz ausspricht. Angesichts der aktuellen Lage sei unwahrscheinlich, dass das Thema in einem möglichen Koalitionsvertrag eine Rolle spielen wird. Für Unternehmen und Beschäftigte bedeutet dies weiter ein hohes Maß an Rechtsunsicherheit. Viele praktische Fragen, etwa zur privaten Nutzung von Firmen-Mailkonten oder der Überwachung am Arbeitsplatz, bleiben in einer Grauzone. Marc, Joerg und Holger hoffen, dass die Politik das Thema Beschäftigtendatenschutz nicht auf die lange Bank schiebt. Nur ein detailliertes Gesetz könne für mehr Rechtssicherheit sorgen.

The Eventin was sailing from Russia to Egypt with 100,000 tonnes of oil when its engine failed and it lost ability to manoeuvre. Three tugs are now attempting to steer it away from the coast and towards a safer area. Though if the vessel breaks up, there is no safe area for 100,000 tonnes of oil to dissipate. As the vessel drifted in coastal waters Friday, the foreign minister, Annalena Baerbock, criticised Russia's use of “dilapidated oil tankers” to avoid sanctions on its oil exports, calling it a threat to European security. Sind all die Dinge, die du liest, hörst, siehst eigentlich gut für deinen Glauben und dein geistliches Wachstum? Ich meine damit keine Netflixserien sondern die theologischen Blogs, die "frommen" YouTube-Kanäle und die christlichen Podcasts. Was ist gut und was nicht? Die Jahreslosung gibt uns da ein paar Gedanken an die Hand, die ich mit dir konkret anschauen möchte.

Neues Jahr, neuer CO2-Preis: Seit dem 1. Januar 2025 gilt ein Preis von 55 Euro statt 45 Euro im Vorjahr pro Tonne ausgestoßenen Klimagases, das beim Heizen mit Öl und Gas oder beim Autofahren mit Diesel und Benziner anfällt. Diese Kosten zahlen die Konzerne im Voraus – und legen sie über den Preis auf die Verbraucher um. Der Preis dürfte 2027 explodieren.

Im Jahr 2024 haben sich die Spritpreise etwas entspannt. Dennoch war es eines der teuersten Tankjahre aller Zeiten. Ab 1. Januar steigt der C02-Preis von 45 auf 55 Euro pro Tonne – auch das dürfte sich der Zapfsäule bemerkbar machen.

Roger Rosmus, Founder, CEO, & Director of Goliath Resources (TSX.V: GOT) (OTCQB: GOTRF), joins me to review the latest high-grade gold assay from the drill hole GD-24-249, which intercepted the Bonanza Zone returning 226.12 g/t or 7.3 oz/t AuEq near surface between 76.60 – 77.60 meters.  This section was within a larger interval consisting of 45.60 g/t AuEq or 1.5 oz/t AuEq over 5.95 meters near surface between 71.65 – 77.60 meters, as part of a high-grade area within the expanded high-grade gold Bonanza Zone at Surebet Discovery that remains wide open.   This was the next assay result returned from the lab from their 38,125 meter drill program that has now been completed at the Surebet Discovery, Jackpot Target, And Treasure Island target at the Golddigger Property, located in the Golden Triangle, British Columbia.  There are still 101 holes to report that also include: 60 holes (out of 64) drilled this year, 17 previous holes relogged with RIRG style mineralization in dykes testing reduced intrusion mineralization and 14 other separate holes relogged that were drilled between 2021 – 2023 at Surebet. Assays are pending for 12 holes drilled at Treasure Island this year as well. 59 drill holes from this year's exploration program contained visible gold representing 92% of the holes in 2024, of which 19 (or 32%) had abundant visible gold (more than 4 recorded occurrences).   The new Bonanza High-Grade Gold Triangle, within the Surebet Discovery, delineates a zone of substantial gold and sulphide mineralization Bonanza Zone has been nearly doubled from 720 x 612 x 410 meters to 835 x 685 x 612 x 410 meters and remains wide open.   We also discuss how there are many other exploration areas and step outs that are of interest, making it far too early to start thinking of putting out a resource, and the mineralization is still growing in many different directions.   If you have any questions for Roger about Goliath Resources, then please email me at Shad@kereport.com and then we'll get those answered or covered in a future interviews.   *In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Goliath Resources at the time of this recording.   Click here to follow the latest news from Goliath Resources

Die Frage muss erlaubt sein: Warum glauben Fußballtrainer, dass in der 2. Liga Ballbesitzfußball zu irgendetwas Zählbarem führt. Im Unterhaus ist mit Ballbesitz kein Blumenpott zu gewinnen – schon wieder was gelernt. Warum Elversberg von der Tabellenspitze grüßt, wissen wir beim Podwart natürlich auch. Neugierig geworden? Podwart hören! Warum 96 den Sprung an die Spitze verpasst hat? Auch da haben wir einen Verdacht. Auf jeden Fall möchten Bruno und Uwe beim Fußball unterhalten werden, und das hat bei Hannover 96 leider Seltenheitswert. Für Tiete ist das „Operetten-Publikum“, und da liegt der 96-Reporter natürlich goldrichtig. Vergleicht man den 96-Fußball mit Monopoly, dann sollte Hannover eigentlich spielen wie die Schlossallee, kommt aber leider seit Jahren nicht über die Turmstraße raus. Wie wir auf so einen Blödsinn kommen? Podwart hören!

"Schwere Beats und heavy Bässe" sind die Mittel der Wahl, mit denen unsere heutigen Lokalmatadore "eine akustische Dramaturgie (erzeugen), die den Menschen als ganzheitlich wellenfühlendes Wesen wahrnimmt." Und tatsächlich bleibt bei dieser Mischung aus Dub, Hip Hop, karibischen und afroamerikanischen Beats kein Tanzbein ungeschwungen und keine Kiste ungeschüttelt. Dazu muss man wissen, dass Tutti Bounce mit Based und Tchamp zur Hälfte aus Mitgliedern der Seeed-Rhythmussektion bestehen. Diese stellten am Ende der letzten Albumproduktion ihrer Stammband fest, dass einige Instrumentaltracks zwar unbetextet geblieben, aber definitiv zu gut für die Tonne waren. Stattdessen wurden jene also die Ausgangsbasis einer quasi "wortlosen" Ablegerkombo, die mittlerweile durch die nicht weniger versierten Groove-Experten Mo’Leen O’Swald (Bass) und Dirk Berger (Gitarre) komplettiert wird. Tanzbarer, mal locker-luftiger, mal bassschwererer Sound – nicht allzu weit vom klanglichen Claim der "Music Monks" angeseeedelt, aber doch eigenständig und originell. Eine EP, diverse Singles und sowohl begeistert aufgenommene Support-Einsätze für Peter Fox und die Beatsteaks als auch abgefeierte eigene Club-Shows können sie bereits vorweisen. Momentan schrauben Tutti Bounce in einem Berliner Studio an neuen Tracks, am 5.12. starten sie eine kleine Wintertour im Cassiopeia - und sind schon heute zu Gast in Potsdam-Babelsberg, um uns darauf einzustimmen.
