This week's episode was a long time coming but one that I'm ecstatic that we were finally able to get on the books. Our featured partner this week is Black Tie Moving Amanda Lee with McWaters & Associates Realtors has been steadily climbing in this industry over her 9 years in the business by carving out an impressive niche for herself in helping young families find their next home in the Germantown area. I've been lucky enough to work on a number of projects with her over the years and I really enjoyed getting to share more of her story on the show. Billy Orgel has many titles, he's most commonly recognized the President and CEO of Tower Ventures but his many development and redevelopment projects that he has all over the city were the subject of our discussion on the show. His development of 65 acres in the Snuff District, partnership in 100 N. Main, upcoming projects at Carrefour in Germantown and Providence Place in Arlington are all things that have made major headlines over the last 12 months. His fingerprints are all over the city and I am glad we were able to share a little bit of his journey this episode. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. To get in touch with Black Tie Moving you can call or text Scott Caulk directly at 901-218-5358 or check out their social media accounts by searching Black Tie Moving Memphis on Facebook or Instagram. My guests in Episode 49 are total stars in their field and yet still haven't been given the name recognition they deserve for the way that they consistently deliver for their clients. Our featured partners this week are Community Mortgage and Memphis Title Company. Jarod Wilder is a partner in The Longtown Company where they are currently heading down the homestretch of building their fourth Vesta Home Show entry for this November's show. He and his partner Sammy Stover have been building custom homes in the Memphis area for a dozen years with a commitment to delivering wow moments for their clients when they see their home go from plans to reality. Marjo Labonte is an affiliate broker with McWaters & Associates Realtors and she's someone that existed to a lot of people as a name for a long time but we're here to connect the person to that name today. She's in her 7th year in the business and she's already qualified for the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Club for each of the last 6 years. Our first featured partner is Community Mortgage. Help your clients get a $100 Visa gift card by getting an Apples to Apples loan estimate from one of the mortgage pros at Community. To help your buyers have that extra spending money after closing, have them email ApplesToApples@CommunityMTG.com or call their office at 901-759-4400 and request an Apples to Apples comparison of their loan estimate from another lender. Our second featured partner this week is Memphis Title Company. If you would like to discuss anything pertaining to the closing process in general or about using them to handle your next closings, feel free to email any of the four talented attorneys.Mark Miesse – mark@memphistitleco.com Mike Christoff – mike@memphistitleco.com Lauren Meriwether – lauren@memphistitleco.com Nick Gilder – nick@memphistitleco.com To connect with Jarod, you can visit the Longtown Company website at www.longtownbuilders.com or call his office at 901-870-7263. I had an absolute blast with our two guests this week! Both of the ladies I had the pleasure of speaking with have quickly become powerhouses in the industry and are forces to be reckoned with even though neither one of them has a full 5 years in the business under their belt. Our featured partner this week is Community Mortgage. Julie Upchurch with McWaters & Associates Realtors is 3.5 years into the business and coincidentally has qualified for the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Club three times as well. She is overwhelmingly charming, freakishly driven, and potentially one of the more likeable people that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in real estate. Preppy blonde girls that have had her level of success typically have haters even without a reason, but I’ve yet to meet a single person that doesn’t LOVE Julie Upchurch. Alexis Brown with Emmett Baird Realty also has almost 4 years of real estate experience and she’s someone who quickly established herself as the expert when it comes to helping military families relocate to the Memphis area. Alexis quickly found her footing in this niche because it is a path she traveled herself when her husband was stationed in Millington. There’s just something different about working with a professional who knows their stuff in a specific area of discipline and I’d put Alexis knowledge of the military relocation process up against anyone I’ve met. To connect with Julie you can call her cell at 901-412-0111 or hit her up on Instagram or Facebook by simply searching her name To connect with Alexis her cell phone is the best way to reach her and that is 901-687-8051. If you need to connect with the show or reach Dane for any of your home insurance needs, you can email him at dwilliams@shoemakerins.com .

Dynamite comes in small packages and Tara Airhart with McWaters & Associates Realtors exploded onto the Memphis real estate scene a year and a half ago and is wrapping up her first full calendar year in the business. Apparently no one told her that you didn’t have to make MMDC in the first 4 months of the year because she started out 2020 swinging hard and hasn’t looked back since. In this episode Dane and Tara discuss her accidental path to real estate and how the nomadic lifestyle that the US military gifted her was great preparation for her thriving real estate practice. In this episode, Jason Will talks with Derek Taylor, the Vice President of Product Technology for JP and Associates Realtors, one of the fastest growing real estate franchises in the nation. JPAR offers technology forward tools and business analytics to help real estate agents drive bottom-line results. Derek shares a peek behind the curtain of all of JPAR's powerful, valuable, and proactive technology that focuses agent's on activities that drive sales success. This show is full of pro tips on how to incorporate the jpar.com tools to leverage your contacts, referrals, leads, and sphere of influence. Plus, learn how to improve your value proposition to both grow your profit margins while increasing your productivity. kvCore is driven to help automate sales and is proven to reduce the friction in business so that real estate agents can spend more time in front of people and less time behind their computer. Key Takeways Technology and automation is going to give agents the ability to leverage their contacts, referrals, leads, and sphere of influence. Technology and automation, like kvCore, which provides agents with a comprehensive, all-in-one system to organize an agent's database and seize opportunities that agents otherwise wouldn't have noticed. Many companies offer agents a basic website, but most don't offer them the backend CRM technology required to convert leads into sales. In real estate, there is not a lead generation problem; there is a lead conversion problem. Concentrate your efforts on the "yes's" and less time talking to the "no's." If you're behind the technology learning curve or the industry trend curve of what clients are wanting, then you can't exceed their expectations. Quotable and Notable Agents are using Trulia and Zillow and realtor.com to promote their listings. And kvCore gives agents a platform to promote their listings and drive traffic back to them specifically. - Jason Will kvCore is a great system to help you stay in contact with your sphere of influence, you want to contact them somewhere between 33 and 40 times a year to be able to maintain and maximize referrals. You need some technology to help you automate those processes and systems. - Derek Taylor kvCore is a tool to communicate with your clients in the way that they want to be communicated in today's world, and if you're not doing that, you're not exceeding their expectations. - Derek Taylor "I'm not a techie" is not an acceptable term in real estate; you have to become involved in technology from now going forward. Or you're just going to get left behind with everybody else who didn't want to get involved in technology. it's that important in the business right now . - Derek Taylor I want agents to be more organized and be more systematized with thier current database. It's like that's your data bank is like golden doubloons. -Jason Will If you're a plumber, doctor, or retail store, all of those things are going to be changed by technology. We need to stay ahead of the curve so that we can serve our clients better. We call that exceeding expectations. - Derek Taylor ////////////////////////////////// Thanks for listening.
