Key Exchanges in the 901 is the podcast that seeks to share the real stories of the real estate community in Memphis. These are the stories that allow every key to change hands and the stories that are shaping the real estate market in our city.
Listeners of Key Exchanges in the 901 that love the show mention: dane, great.
One last aria as we march towards the grand finale for Key Exchanges. Is this the end? I have no idea, but in this episode I reflect on how far we've come as a show and I'm also joined by my friend John Arroyo with Ruby Red Media and we share some of our favorite moments from Season 2. I cannot thank you enough for taking time out of your busy lives to slow down to listen to this show over the 85 episodes that we've been in existence. · 4,963 minutes of Key Exchanges has been distributed since our first episode on October 5th, 2020 · We've been listened to in 44 different states (I've got my eye on you DE, ID, NH, SD, WV, and WY) · Listened to in 41 different countries (shoutout Tajikistan as a country I'd never heard of and Germany for being our second most popular country) · Listened to on all 6 continents that people actually live on· Our listenership for new episodes grew 47% from Season 1 so far (it takes 90 days to get a true sample) · when you factor in downloads of our first 55 episodes we more than doubled our listenership in the last 6 months. All of this is completely mind blowing to me and truly speaks to the amazing cast of characters that make up our local real estate community. Thank you so much for being willing to tune in at some point along the way. I'm not sure what the next iteration of this will look like, but I've appreciated you joining me for this part of our journey. Thank you so much for listening to Key Exchanges in the 901.
We're wrapping up season two and our second to last episode is a really special one that you'll be glad you listened to immediately. Our featured partners this week are Mid South Title and Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage. Michael Bryan is the broker/owner of Bryan Realty Group that has vaulted into a top 10% brokerage in the city and they're wrapping up year 6 in business. He's never going to be the flashiest one in the room but he's built and incredibly impressive business by just steadily putting in the work and delivering for his clients over the course of his nearly 2 decades in the industry and the results speak for themselves. In our second segment we have something never before seen on KE901. I have had several interviews where before or after the microphones are recording, I'm told an amazing story by a guest that just couldn't be shared attached to their name on the show. In this episode I bring in several mystery guests who have been granted anonymity and I've been sworn to secrecy so that they can share some of the untold stories of Memphis real estate. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. Episode 83 is one that is a little sentimental to me because as we're wrapping up this season, it gave me a chance to have some of my earliest guests from the start of the show back on and it reminded me why they were some of my first calls in the early days. Our featured partners this week are Memphis Title Company and Black Tie Moving. Rachel Guthrie with McWaters & Associates has actually been on the show once before. In one of our first few months of recorded we attempted to do a quick 5-minute feature on up and coming agents and she was one that I profiled before she really had things going. In the two years since then, she worked her ass off and built and incredibly impressive practice and because of that, I had no choice but to bring her back on and see how her first two years in the business have gone. In our second segment we dove into a much needed conversation surrounding our current market conditions. It's likely no surprise to anyone listening to this show that things have slowed down and I've had several guests on to talk about that. In this segment though, I spoke with Cassandra Bell-Warren with 4 Success Realty and Jessica Brown with Re/Max Experts and we talked about how to position your business gain market share in a slowing market and you won't want to miss that convo. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. Whether you're on your way up and trying to change the game or someone with years in the business looking to take your business to the next level, this episode has a little bit of something for everyone. Our featured partners this week are Ruby Red Media and The Jason Woods Home Loan Team with Community Mortgage . Jonathan Nunez with Fast Track Realty is one of the more impressive young agents that I've had the pleasure of interviewing. There were never any handouts or easy roads for him to take and yet still he has managed to grind out an extraordinary start to his real estate career and his story is not like many that I've had the pleasure of hearing on this show. Staying in front of your sphere of influence in incredibly important at all times of the year, but it's common for many agents to utilize some sort of holiday marketing strategy to do that and with that in mind I brought two of my dear friends onto the show in Rachel Jacques with Reid Realtors and Abby Cook with Keller Williams. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. It's Thanksgiving week and this episode is all about families. Our featured partners this week are Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage and Memphis Title Company. Ashlyn Clark is a buyer's agent on The Clark Team with Keller Williams. She's just hitting two years in the business and she's also already qualified for the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Club for her second straight year as well. She's been killing it in residential real estate while also attending college full time and she's done all of this before she's legally allowed to have a beer. She's freakishly impressive and someone I'm proud to call a new friend. Real estate, more than a lot of other industries, has a ton of familial business models that have allowed some of the top producing teams in our city to work side by side with family members. In our second segment I rejoined by two of the people leading family teams the best in my friends Terri Porter with The Porter Group and Stacia Rosatti with Team Rosatti out of the Forest Hill office of Crye-Leike. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. Episode 80 is one that captures some of the great strengths of the Memphis real estate community on this show because we are able to take a deep dive into the real estate journey of a legend in Memphis Real Estate and then bring two of the brightest minds in the city on to talk through a pressing issue that's impacting many agents right now. Our features partners this week are Mid South Title and Black Tie Moving. Frances Anderson with Crye-Leike Southeast has been the top performing agent in her office for two decades now. She has a whole host of real estate accomplishments that you can stack against anyone in the industry, but she's earned all of those accolades by running her business in a professional manner and striving to serve her clients well. In our second segment we dive into some of the challenges that several agents have seen with deals that have fallen apart and some of the things to make sure are cleaned up before putting that deal to bed. My friends Taylor Hewgley with Mid South Title and Bill Malone with Crye-Leike Quail Hollow are in the studio sharing their knowledge from decades of serving our city well. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. Great conversations across the board on today's episode as we chat with a rising star in the business and two men with families that have been shaping our city for decades. Our featured this week are The Jason Woods Home Loan Team with Community Mortgage and Mid South Title . Elizabeth Gant has been a realtor with Re/Max Experts for 5 years now and is really hitting her stride in the business. Initially starting out as an unlicensed assistant, she climbed the ranks after steadily putting in the work and this year she has already locked in her third consecutive year as a qualifier for the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Club and shows no signs of stopping her ascent. The Vesta Home Show is open to the public starting Saturday November 12th through Sunday December 4th. As we are heading down the home stretch for the five builders participating in this year's show, it made sense to have my friends David Clark with David Clark Construction and Jarod Wilder with The Longtown Company as they are two of the featured builders in this show and they gave us an awesome peek behind the curtain of all that goes into the special event. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. Timing in life is everything. Things that could have seemed awful in the moment, are seen as massive blessings when viewed through the life further down your timeline. Other times timing that you thought felt perfect in the moment turns out to be just a month too late to allow you to feel the benefits of your decisions. In Episode 78 of KE901, we'll dive into several conversations surrounding timing and how to make the most of circumstances when the timing is a little off. Our featured partners this week are Black Tie Moving and Ruby Red Media. Melissa Reed with BHHS McLemore & Company is a new friend in my life but someone who has steadily been building an impressive reputation for herself in the in the business over the course of her eight years in the career. She has leaned into her small town roots to build a sphere in the Memphis-area that has set her apart as one of the top agents within her impressive brokerage. Our second segment is one that was put together because of the number of conversations I've had over the last few weeks/months surrounding deals falling apart and homes having to go back on the market after previously being under contract. With that in mind, there aren't two better seasoned agents that I could've brought on than my friends Maureen Fraser with John Green & Company and Rachel Baggett Gilliam with Crye-Leike Bartlett to discuss this topic. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. The three women featured in Episode 77 reach the very highest rung of respect that I could have for anyone I've had the pleasure of meeting in this industry and I was incredibly grateful for the conversations we were able to have this week. Our featured partners this week are Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage and Memphis Title Company. Meatha Tapley is a realtor associate at the Crye-Leike Quail Hollow office and a rockstar member of the Tyler Tapley Team. She moved to the Memphis area from Knoxville and got licensed 16 years ago without really having much of a network established in the region. Prior to marrying Tyler and forming one of the top performing teams in our area, she was a standout agent in N. Mississippi and one of everyone's most beloved co-op agents. She's one of my favorites in the industry and I'm glad we were able to have her on the show. Starting out as a new agent is one of the more challenging leaps to take under any market conditions, but even more so as we're seeing a slight pull back from the thriving pace we've been operating at the last several years. With that in mind it was great to bring back some of my best friends in the industry in Sarah Layson with Keller Williams and Paige Holmes with Coldwell Banker Collins-Maury to discuss what they would do if they were starting their super star careers all over today. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. Often times it is the experiences that we have in life that help shape us into the professionals that we will become and that could not have been modeled more perfectly that with my guests this week in Episode 76. Our featured partners this week are Mid South Title and Black Tie Moving . Melanie Blakeney with Marx-Bensdorf Realtors spent decades of her life working in real estate prior to becoming an agent, most notably serving at the CEO of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors. The results she's been achieving in her four years as a realtor are nothing short of extraordinary, but so is her experience and it's easy to see why clients are flocking to her professionalism and calming nature. Following in the footsteps of an incredibly accomplished parent is no easy feat for anyone, but Jon Dickens with The Firm and Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage have made it look far easier than it actually has been. These two rock stars are performing at some of the very highest levels in our city on their own merits while managing the expectations that come from the family accomplishments. It was a truly enlightening conversation to hear about their journey, struggles, and triumphs along the way. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. To connect with Mid South Title you can visit their website www.gomst.com and to receive your two discount closing certificates send a text that says “Send Me Two” to 901-459-3005 that includes your name, email, and brokerage and they will send you two certificates for $200 off your next closing at Mid South Title. This one is one of my very favorite episodes that I've had the pleasure of bringing to you on KE901. All three of the women on this week's episode are some of the most uniquely driven and freakishly impressive individuals that I've ever met in my life. Our featured partners this week are Ruby Red Media and The Jason Woods Home Loan Team with Community Mortgage. Itzel Sanchez with Keller Williams is one of my favorite people in the industry. There's no façade or BS surrounding how she's ranked as a top 20 Latino Realtor in the nation for each of the last three years. She just steadily puts in the work at a level greater than most and it's all driven by the love she has for her clients and her desire to see their family's wealth increased through real estate. My second segment is a topic that I was fired up to get into with my friends Amanda Lott with Crye-Leike Midtown and Kelly Jones with Community Mortgage. Work-life balance is something we could likely all do a little better job with and these two high performers shared some of the tips and thought processes they use to improve in that area. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. To connect with Itzel, she always asks that you just call her because that's how she prefers to talk about real estate. Her direct number is 901-378-4334. To connect with Amanda….you should probably just text her at 901-461-9246 or email her at amanda@thelottteam.com To connect with Kelly, you can call or text her at 901-334-7732 or email her at kellyjones@communitymtg.com To connect with Jason you can call his cell at 901-246-0256 or email him at jason@communitymtg.com . I really enjoy all three of our guests this week as individuals and having the pleasure of talking about their businesses in one episode is a treat for all of us as well. They are knowledgeable and well respected and I just always leave every interaction with them grateful for the time together. Our featured partners this week are Memphis Title Company and Black Tie Moving . Kaylee Oaks with Hometown Realty is someone who has run in similar circles as me for years, but we really never had the opportunity to connect much and I realize now that was certainly a missed opportunity on my part. She is just as charming and engaging in person as her reputation led me to believe and she's built a business inside of her boutique family owned brokerage that's incredibly respectable. I always enjoy segments on the show when we get to dive into a topic that I don't get to hit on very often. I was thrilled to be able to bring Dustin Jones with Jones Aur Commercial Real Estate and Eric Fuhrman with Crye-Leike Commercial back on the show to give us a Commercial Update and these two pros did not disappoint. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. To reach any of the attorney's at Memphis Title Company, you can call their office at 901-754-2080 or visit their website at www.memphistitleco.com . @memphistitlecompany To get in touch with Black Tie Moving you can call or text Scott Caulk directly at 901-218-5358 or check out their social media accounts by searching Black Tie Moving Memphis on Facebook or Instagram. On Episode 73 I was able to have two incredibly enjoyable conversations with three agents that are phenomenal at what they do. Our featured partners this week are Memphis Title Company and Black Tie Moving . Peterson Wellford is an affiliate broker with The Firm and a near lifelong Memphian aside from a few stretches in Tuscaloosa and Lexington for college. Previously he had worked full-time in the fitness industry but a year ago he took the leap into real estate and he's been making waves ever since. His charm and charisma are contagious and it's easy to see why he's had such great success in an incredibly short time. Luxury real estate is one of the sexier topics to cover on our show because when you raise the price points higher, you typically get to see some pretty special properties as well. I was lucky enough to be rejoined by two of my friends that live in that space regularly in Josh Spotts with The Best Spotts and James Harvey Jr. with Keller Williams and it is a conversation you won't want to miss. We had a ton of fun on today's episode with a range of different topics and it is just chocked full of things you can learn through both of our segments in this one. Our featured partners this week are Mid South Title and Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage. Preston Williams has been an associate broker with Crye-Leike Bartlett almost 5 years now consistently ranking as one of the top performers within their office. Prior to real estate, he ran a marketing business and was eventually able to leverage those skills in content creation to be a priceless asset for his practice and a massive revenue generator at the same time. In our second segment we dove into some of the nuances that can come with being an agent that works in areas with older homes. I am joined by Lauren Harkins Wiuff with Ware Jones Realtors and Kathryn Garland with Garland Company Real Estate to discuss Advanced Homeownership that comes with owning a 100 year old house. If you need to connect with the show or reach Dane for any of your home insurance needs, you can email him at dwilliams@shoemakerins.com
This week's episode was just fun, plain and simple. I laughed a ton while we were recording them, I laughed again when editing the show together, it's just a good time with three incredibly impressive realtors that I have the utmost respect for. Our featured partners this week are Black Tie Moving and Ruby Red Media Bubba Sandefer was employee #1 at Emmett Baird Realty and he feels a deep connection to that brokerage but also the path he took to land there. He is one of those people leaves an impression long after he's left a conversation and 9 out of 10 times it's overwhelmingly positive. Our conversation about his path in the business was great and something I'm sure you'll enjoy hearing as well. There are many times in our careers when we can let comparison slip in and judge ourselves against some of our peers in the industry that may be killing it. The snapshot that we have of their lives is often not near as rosy when you've walked their walk though and with that in mind it was an honor to be rejoined by my friends Shannan McWaters from The Firm and Michael Jacques with Reid Realtors for a segment I titled “Failing Forward”. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. To connect with Bubba, you can call or text his cell at 901-319-0747. To connect with Shannan, social media is definitely the way to go by searching for @shannanmcwatersrealtor on your social media platform of choice. To connect with Michael, you can text or call him (but you better leave a voicemail) at 901-246-8916 or find him on social media @ReidRealtors If you need to connect with the show or reach Dane for any of your home insurance needs, you can email him at dwilliams@shoemakerins.com
Old friends and a new friend on this week's episode that is full of great stories and helpful information from three incredibly impressive gentlemen. Our featured partners this week are The Jason Woods Home Loan Team with Community Mortgage and Memphis Title Company. David Da Ponte-Cooper has been a realtor associate with Sowell Realtors for 21 years now and is one of the very top producing agents in the entire city. Until I started doing my research for this interview, I had no idea how successful he really is because he's not very flashy with his marketing or incredibly visible for the world to see, but he puts in the work and is steadily referred by clients at an alarming rate. Jason Woods with Community Mortgage and Mark Miesse with Memphis Title rejoined the show in our second segment to discuss what to do when a deal falls apart. It's never a fun situation to find yourself in but every agent with any significant tenure in the business has had it happen and Jason and Mark broke down some reasons why it happens, how to spot it coming in advance, and how to handle the situation when it the deal falls apart. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. To connect with David, you can call his cell directly at 901-240-8474 or catch him at the Sowell office at 901-287-4380. This week's episode just felt incredibly easy on me as the host. All three of our guests this week are charming and engaging and full of tons of great information, and it allowed me to just do my best to get out of the way of immensely talented agents. Our featured partners this week are Mid South Title and Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage. Marq Cobb is a partner and the managing broker of Myers Cobb Realtors. He's almost 2 years into launching his own brokerage and they are certainly making waves and establishing an impressive brand in the industry. To start of Season 2 we had Mike Parker with The Firm and Carol Lott with Crye-Leike Midtown on to discuss the state of the real estate market in Memphis. The response we received from that interview was awesome and now that we're three months removed from it and still feeling some of the changes happening in our space, I figured it was an awesome time to bring them back in our second segment. I love episodes like this because each of my guests this week are top notch individuals with phenomenal reputations within the industry and they brought the heat this week. Our featured partners this week are Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage and Ruby Red Media Lewis Marshall is the broker over the newest office for McLemore & Co. that will be opening this fall in Cooper-Young. His nearly 2 decades in the business, various leadership positions across the local and state realtor associations, and just his general involvement in the industry have allowed him to have amazing experiences that he brings to his clients and his brokerage every single day. Learning about his journey to this point and various stops along the way is certainly worth a listen. In the second segments I brought back my friends Amanda Lott with Crye-Leike Midtown and Chris Garland with Garland Company Real Estate to discuss some of the unique things that can arise when working in the condo market in Memphis. The two are some of the very best agents in the city without exception but when we narrow it down to condos specifically there aren't but 1 or 2 other people that I'd even rank in their class with the knowledge they've acquired in that space. This week's episode was a long time coming but one that I'm ecstatic that we were finally able to get on the books. Our featured partner this week is Black Tie Moving Amanda Lee with McWaters & Associates Realtors has been steadily climbing in this industry over her 9 years in the business by carving out an impressive niche for herself in helping young families find their next home in the Germantown area. I've been lucky enough to work on a number of projects with her over the years and I really enjoyed getting to share more of her story on the show. Billy Orgel has many titles, he's most commonly recognized the President and CEO of Tower Ventures but his many development and redevelopment projects that he has all over the city were the subject of our discussion on the show. His development of 65 acres in the Snuff District, partnership in 100 N. Main, upcoming projects at Carrefour in Germantown and Providence Place in Arlington are all things that have made major headlines over the last 12 months. His fingerprints are all over the city and I am glad we were able to share a little bit of his journey this episode. This week's episode was a ton of fun because I got to interview the top agent at one of the most respected brokerages in town and then go to chop it up with two of my favorite north Mississippians on the remix edition of Key Exchanges in the 662. Our featured partners this week are Mid South Title and Big League Movers. Jaime Ross has been the top performing agent at Coldwell Banker Collins-Maury for a handful of years now and she's only in her 5 year in the business. She manages to bring diligent professionalism combined with a playful demeanor and it's obviously resonating with her clientele because she also ranks in the top 3% of all Coldwell Banker agents globally which is incredibly impressive given the bulk of her business comes at north Mississippi price points and not NYC. Our second segment had me rejoined by Alicia Teeter with Keller Williams and JJ Birks with Crye-Leike Hernando and they gave me an education about all that's happening in the north Mississippi real estate scene and how the massive amounts of growth the area has experienced is not just limited to Goodman road. As always our show is powered by The Jason Woods Home Loan Team and Sophie Sandlin Raines who are two awesome loan officers with Community Mortgage. This week's episode was a first for Key Exchanges in the 901, never have we had five guests on in one week, but even more than that, all five of them absolutely killed it. Our featured partners this week are Memphis Title Company and Sophie Sandlin Raines with Community Mortgage. The Home Team with Crye-Leike Forest Hill is made up of Wendy Quinn, Heather Quinn, and Katy Gillespie. This mother, daughter, daughter team is incredibly impressive in the way they each bring different skill sets to the table to serve their clients but the common thread of professionalism and compassion runs through each of them all along the way. Segment two is one that I've been I've been looking forward to since I first thought about bringing the show back for Season 2. We chatted about how the role she's carved out within the real estate team she's on provides so much value that she could never imagine leaving. On Episode 57 of Key Exchanges in the 901 I was able to interview two absolute rock stars in the industry and ended up having two of my favorite conversations that we've had on the show to date. Our featured partners this week are Black Tie Moving and Mid South Title. Rhea Douglas with BHHS McLemore & Company is one of the kindest and most beloved agents that I've met in the city. Her path from educator to her brokerage's top performing agent is remarkable, but late last year her journey was almost cut short as a medical incident left her without a pulse for 17 minutes. Luckily she has been on the road to recovery and her business is still thriving. You won't want to miss her inspiring story. Matt Lionetti with The Agency Toronto is one of the very best realtors in the world when it comes to social media content. His hilarious videos on Instagram have allowed him to carve out a dominate niche in the competitive real estate market in Canada's largest city. Dana Duke Whitworth is an affiliate broker with the Crye-Leike Germantown office and she's one of the more beloved people I've had the pleasure of meeting by everyone I asked about her in the industry. This second-generation agent, didn't find her way to real estate immediately though, but the time it took her to get here has made her success in the industry that much sweeter. I thoroughly enjoyed both of my conversations on Episode 46 as each of the amazing agents I was able to chat with are just really awesome men who happen to be real estate and two guys that anyone would be lucky to have as their agent. Our featured partners this week are Renshaw Company and Big League Movers. Josh Holley with Kaizen Realty is Mr. Fayette County. He is an agent that a thrown himself into his niche and is performing at a freakishly high level. While starting his career working for builders in new construction, he saw that a lot of the agents that specialized in something still had a place in the business when times got tough. When he re-entered the industry, after a stretch working for the Bartlett Fire Department, he set out to fully embrace Fayette County and become a go to resource in that area. Jamison “J.J.” Birks with Crye-Leike Hernando is my brother from another mother. Aside from the fact that we have a thousand different things that overlap in our lives, he's still an incredibly impressive guy. His accomplishments speak for themselves as well as he won Crye-Leike's Rookie of the Year and has consistently been his office's top agent since entering the business. His charm and charisma can just immediately wash over a room and draw everyone in and it is really a unique trait to see in person and I'm certain you'll love our conversation as well. Renshaw Company, formerly known as Renshaw Property Management, Renshaw Company Realtors has been serving the property management needs of real estate investors in the mid-south for over a decade as they managed nearly 1000 homes today. Our featured partners this week are Community Mortgage and Renshaw Company. Lisa Thomas with BEST Real Estate Company worked as an interior designer, make-up artist, tax consultant, and probably every other job before beginning her 16-year career in real estate. Each of the steps she took along the way shaped her into a phenomenal agent with a wealth of knowledge and I was incredibly grateful to sit down with her on the show. Adam Fisher with My Town Properties is an agent has consistently been pushed to innovate when his initial strategy didn't go according to plan. While he has a great number of traditional buyers and sellers that he works with, one of the niches he found himself working in is centered around homes that may need a little bit of love and helping coordinate that construction process either for investors, his own investment portfolio, or for his clients who will ultimately live in the property. I had an absolute blast with our two guests this week! Both of the ladies I had the pleasure of speaking with have quickly become powerhouses in the industry and are forces to be reckoned with even though neither one of them has a full 5 years in the business under their belt. Our featured partner this week is Community Mortgage. Help your clients get a $100 Visa gift card by getting an Apples to Apples loan estimate from one of the mortgage pros at Community. To help your buyers have that extra spending money after closing, have them email ApplesToApples@CommunityMTG.com or call their office at 901-759-4400 and request an Apples to Apples comparison of their loan estimate from another lender. Julie Upchurch with McWaters & Associates Realtors is 3.5 years into the business and coincidentally has qualified for the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Club three times as well. She is overwhelmingly charming, freakishly driven, and potentially one of the more likeable people that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in real estate. Preppy blonde girls that have had her level of success typically have haters even without a reason, but I’ve yet to meet a single person that doesn’t LOVE Julie Upchurch. Alexis Brown with Emmett Baird Realty also has almost 4 years of real estate experience and she’s someone who quickly established herself as the expert when it comes to helping military families relocate to the Memphis area. Alexis quickly found her footing in this niche because it is a path she traveled herself when her husband was stationed in Millington. There’s just something different about working with a professional who knows their stuff in a specific area of discipline and I’d put Alexis knowledge of the military relocation process up against anyone I’ve met. To connect with Julie you can call her cell at 901-412-0111 or hit her up on Instagram or Facebook by simply searching her name To connect with Alexis her cell phone is the best way to reach her and that is 901-687-8051. In Episode 36, I am lucky enough to sit down with two people I just love talking with regardless of if there’s a podcast to record. Not only are they phenomenal at their craft, but they are even better people. Our featured partner this week is ContractingPro. It’s nearly impossible to find a professional contractor these days that you can feel comfortable putting your reputation on. Tripp, Lowell, Jeremy and the entire team at ContractingPro is one that you can count on to help the relationship you’ve built with your clients. Whether it’s roofing, siding, windows, or recently added bathroom remodeling, they’re team is up to the task and ready to help. To get a quote on your next renovation project, visit their website at www.mycontractingpro.com or call their office directly at 901-290-7686. Tina Andrade with Fast Track Realty is a true gem in our industry her unfiltered and incredibly kind hearted personality is something we could all benefit from. Our conversation centered around her transition into real estate and how she began to work with real estate investors. Tripp Atkinson is the Founder and President of ContractingPro and he’s one of the most impressive business owners and contractors that I know. We chatted about how he got stated in construction and how they’ve found the ability provide insight and quality work to homeowners renovation decisions. In our convo we discuss her non-traditional path to success and how she has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time.
