Hop on board the crazy train with us this Easter and give this eggs-ellent movie a chance! What more do you need to celebrate the most solemn and holy high holiday of the Catholic religion than an elementary school bus massacre, a token pair of fake breasts (that bait you into thinking this might be a sexy movie -- it's not), and a mentally unstable man in a bunny suit with an unlimited arsenal of weapons? All of that has to be in the Bible somewhere. And if you like this movie, apparently it's the second movie in a trilogy, so good luck with the rest of them. Don't forget to rate and subscribe! Unser Special diesen Monat fasst gleich zwei Filmnächste zusammen. Somit besprechen Helena, Daniel und Malte: - 00:17:55: Hunt for the Wilderpeople (DE: Wo die wilden Menschen jagen) - 00:31:31: Into the Mouth of Madness (DE: Die Mächte des Wahnsinns) - 00:49:57: Event Horizon (DE: Event Horizon – Am Rande des Universums) - 01:15:29: Bonus 01: Easter Bunny Bloodbath - 01:23:51: Bonus 02: The Bunnyman Massacre
It's Day 1 of the 31 Days of Dread featuring the Bunnyman Massacre an independent horror film discovered on Amazon Prime. Pete discusses the importance of films like this and why Flmakers like Carl Lindbergh should be on your radar.

Friend of the show Spencer (cohost of the Akira Kurosawa podcast High & Low) suggested this film to us, so here we are. Will this be another smashing success like previous listener-suggested Turkey Shoot or another disappointing mess like the animal-themed Army Dog or Bunnyman Massacre (turns out we've done a ton of movies with animals in the title)? Only one way to find out...
In this non-prediction Special Report mini episode, we discuss an Easter-themed horror short that manages to accomplish a task in 10 minutes that Bunnyman Massacre couldn't in 100: be good.

Carl Lindbergh attended California State University Long Beach and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in film production in 2000. Shortly after graduation, Lindbergh formed his first production company, ANOC productions i.e. A NO ONE CARES PRODUCTIONS. The company would primarily focus on the funding and production of his feature films. The Bunny Man character was inspired by the true story of an axe-wielding man in a bunny suit who terrorized residents of Fairfax County, Virginia in 1970. Going wild with that inspiration, writer/director Carl Lindbergh and his company ANOC Productions created and released Bunnyman in 2011. Despite mixed reviews, the film gained a sizable following and has been known to play back-to-back on the cable TV channel Chiller.
