“How do I do it? Raise my daughter, work as director of office purchasing for this hospital and release an album of Doris Day covers on my own label? If I knew I'd tell you" Love to start my day with a hearty bowl of Jan. We dedicate this week's episode (again) to Jan! She's the corporate VP, Michael's lover, Astrid's mother, and the famed actress behind Jasmine Windsong. We go through her arc and character, discussing all the trips to Jamaica, baby shower renditions of 'Son of a Preacher Man', and incredibly awkward dinner parties that make up her time on the show. After an extended conversation about Jan, we wrap up the show with a round of trivia all about ‘Money' from Season 4. Right now, the title of our podcast is, “Something Weird is Going On.” Colon, “What Did Jan Say? The Michael Scott Podcast Company Story. By Michael Scott, with Dwight Schrute.” Support our show and become a member of Scott's Tots on Patreon! The North Star, Polaris, is acting a little strange lately, and scientists are scratching their heads about it. Normally, it's a pretty stable star that's been our guiding light for centuries, but recent observations show it's dimming and brightening in unexpected ways. This could mean something big is happening inside the star, like changes in its core or fusion process. It's a big deal because Polaris has been a key reference point for navigation and astronomy for ages. Studying its weird behavior might teach us more about how stars like it evolve. It's like the North Star is trying to tell us a cosmic secret! Credit: Carved Box: Farm, CC BY-SA 2.5 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/..., https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi... Has God ever given you something that is so hard to wrap your mind around? You're looking at something God has told you, and you're saying, “I have no idea how to make sense of this! It's weird, it feels icky, and I don't understand it.” You have no idea what to do with it. Jesus told his disciples one of the weirdest things to understand in John 6, which led them to have to decide if they stay with Jesus or withdraw from him. Jesus had already showed them his miracles before he told them something that shocked them. When God gives us a hard saying, what do you do? Monologue: Autumn welcomes fall with an incredible fishing story about her son, Moses. Message: Autumn encourages believers to trust God even when He has said something that makes no sense. Question: “Is salvation once and for all or can someone walk away from the Lord and lose their salvation?” Praise Report: A listener shares how she and her husband have strived for unity and God showcases His faithfulness to them. The 14 year old surrendered and has been identified as Colt Gray. Witnesses claimed there was a second shooter as we've heard in so many past mass shootings. Mysteriously, calls were made to the school earlier in the morning warning of 5 mass shootings at schools in the area. Politicians were quick to make politics of the situation and called for gun confiscation in the face of the event. What they forget is minors cannot buy guns in Georgia. The alleged shooter was 14. It's already illegal but this will fall on deaf ears as the agenda is to take away guns and ultimately leave people defenseless and dependent on the state in a global technocracy. The vast majority of these shootings involve a mentally ill child who somehow manages to get tens of thousands of dollars worth of guns and ammunition and has his cellphone confiscated by the very intelligence agencies they're working with under the guise of "investigation." The fact that people still fall for these false flags is insane. Of course people DID die in this shooting and it's tragic. It is also tragic that people think the government wouldn't be part of a plot to kill a bunch of innocent men, women and children in order to benefit from the chaos. It's literally what the state does best. Murder and restrict people based on their fears. In this video, we break down the latest news on the shooting and what we know so far just a couple of hours after the attack. Stay tuned for more from WAM! Something Weird in Mason County, WV Stop into Mason County and see the Mothman, ok maybe not the real Mothman, but his eight-foot high statue. TW: foul language, religion, apocalyptic imagery I'm a loner, Weirdo. A rebel. And you are entering KEEP IT WEIRD: the podcast for all things strange & unusual. We get together every other week and chat about SOMETHING WEIRD and of course this week is no exception. We are SINGING OUR PRAISES, we are ALIGNING OUR CHAKRAS and we are SPEAKING IN TONGUES this episode is ALL about religion. Ashley starts us off with one of our favorite segments WHAT IF GOD WAS ONE OF US as we learn all about the RAPTURE. What it is, when it was created and how it differs from what is *actually* in the bible. Ruh Roh. Lauren takes us into a WHERE IN THE WORLD IS KEEP IT WEIRD GOING and the answer to that question.... is Utah. Utah in the 1930's to be exact, when Mary Ogden brought her spiritualist movement to a hollow rock in the middle of freaking no where and things got weird. Japan's economy has been stagnant for 2 decades, and while some economists look at this as an outlier, it might be something that just happens to all advanced economies, and Japan just got there first. After suffering the "lost generation", can Japan come back and recover growth, or is their fate one we will all eventually reach?

California, the US's third largest state, ranks as the world's 4th or 5th economy all by itself. With an output over $3.5 trillion, Californians are among the globe's top producers. But despite its growth, the state faces challenges: global pressures, population decline, and social problems.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen just wrapped up a four-day visit to Beijing. She met with her Chinese counterparts. She sparked controversy for repeatedly bowing to Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng. And when she left, Ms. Yellen declared that the meetings were productive, although they didn't result in any breakthroughs on policy. So what's this really about? Why did Ms. Yellen declare it a success? China and the United States appear to be “re-establishing contact,” while the Chinese Communist Party smells blood in the water. Tensions between the two countries appear to be rapidly growing, as diplomacy appears to be falling apart. In this episode of Crossroads, we'll discuss this story and others, and answer questions from the audience. ⭕️ Stay up-to-date with Josh with the Crossroads NEWSLETTER
