Continuing our recent focus on vintage Star Wars figures whose characters have appeared in The Mandalorian, the Generation Skywalker team turns its attention to one of the most unusual and memorable releases in the Kenner line — Amanaman. With The Mandalorian and Grogu now in cinemas and members of Amanaman's species making an appearance in the film, there has never been a better time to revisit this bizarre figure. We were extremely lucky to receive and Invitation from Lucasfilm to tour the Mandalorian Archives where they keep many props, and models from both the series and the film! We were also very lucky to be invited to participate in an virtual roundtable interview with non other than JON FAVREAU and DAVE FILONI alongside other incredible fan-creators! This was such a special moment with some great insight from both Dave and Jon! Additionally, Jon gets a Nice-Guy-Award for going out of his way to answer all of our questions after time ran out!As if all of that wasn't enough, we were able to attend the World Premiere of the film! The first Festival of the Force of 2026 took place on Saturday 31st January at Newark Showground and along with queues around the block, walls packed with costuming groups, artists, traders and much more there was the Interview Stage, which saw eighteen guests take to the stage across the day.
