The four-part series, originally slated to drop on August 6, then moved to August 27, now will be released on August 1 on Disney+. The full voice cast also has been revealed, along with the first full trailer.Hot off her Emmy nomination for her work in HBO's The Penguin, Cristin Milioti is jumping into her next screen project, an independent horror thriller titled Buddy. Casper Kelly, who co-created Adult Swim shows such as Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell and the horror comedy viral sensation Too Many Cooks, is directing the feature and J.D. In a week full of news, there are standouts from each of the big three. A job listing includes Sony, multiplatform, and both Xbox and Nintendo? What's this all about, and does it really mean Sony is going to join Microsoft in bringing more of its games to more places? Or is this really just an extension of the live service initiative? Sean and Marc discuss the possibilities and do PlayStation fans need to get ready for the console wars to truly be meaningless? On the Xbox side of things, a major about-face comes as a surprise as the push towards $80 games is no more, at least for the time being, with the announcement that Outerworlds 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and the rest of Xbox's holiday slate will go back to being $70. Will this spur a big batch of preorders for these games? Or should Microsoft have stuck to the original plan? Nintendo also got a major sales data boon as the Nintendo Switch 2 sold 1.6 million in the United States alone. Mario Kart World also performed super well, and even third-party titles like Deltarune, Cyberpunk 2077, and Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma had standout numbers. Not to mention, the Pokémon Presents had some interesting reveals for what's out now and what's to come in the future. Jane Luk is a celebrated Canadian actress, comedian, and improviser whose career spans stage, screen, and voice work. Coming up next, she is set to recur as Maureen Alvorson in the highly anticipated horror television adaptation of Stephen King‘sThe Institute which made its premiere on July 13 on MGM+. Throughout her career, Jane has maintained a strong presence in Canada's live comedy scene, performing improv for several decades with institutions like The Second City, Bad Dog Theatre, SoCap Comedy, and Theatresports in both Toronto and Vancouver. She has also taught improv and drama for over 30 years, working with organizations such as Toronto Metropolitan University, Centre for Indigenous Theatre, ArtStarts, the University of Windsor, and a wide range of corporate clients. While Star Wars Outlaws had a rocky start when it was released last year, I have to give Ubisoft a ton of credit for taking the time to fix it up and making it fun for fans of the franchise and those of action-adventure titles. After releasing the Wild Card DLC late last year featuring the beloved Lando Calrissian, the second one, Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate's Fortune, has finally come and brings a lot of cool things to the Sabacc table to keep players busy long after the last mission is done.
